Chapter 2: Ho-Sook's Plan Chin-Sun's eyes widened in surprise. "Me? Pretend to be Min? But how?" Ho-Sook looked at her thoughtfully. "With some training and a bit of a makeover, you could pass as him. Your build is similar, and with the right clothes and makeup, we could make it work. The most important thing is that the fans don’t find out that Min is in the hospital. It will buy us time to find out who attacked him and why." Chin-Sun's heart raced. The idea of pretending to be Min was daunting, but she felt a sense of duty to help her idols. "If it means helping Min and finding out who did this, then I'll do it." Ji-Yeong sighed, rubbing his temples. "This is insane, but I don’t see any other option right now. We need to keep up appearances, and Chin-Sun might be our only hope." Jong-Su placed a reassuring hand on Chin-Sun’s shoulder. "We'll help you every step of the way. We know it’s a lot to ask, but thank you for doing this." Chin-Sun nodded, determination filling her eyes. "I’ll do my best." The next few days were a whirlwind of activity. The Prism’s team worked tirelessly to transform Chin-Sun into Min. Hair stylists cut and dyed her hair to match Min's signature look. Makeup artists taught her how to contour her face to look more like him. The wardrobe team outfitted her in Min’s clothes, and the members of The Prism took turns training her on Min’s mannerisms, his way of speaking, and his dance moves. Ji-Yeong took on the task of teaching her to sing like Min. "You need to project more confidence," he said, his tone strict but not unkind. "Min has a powerful voice. You have to channel that." Chin-Sun nodded, trying to mimic the way Min sang, but it was hard. Ji-Yeong’s constant corrections and critiques were frustrating, but she knew he was only trying to help. They practiced for hours each day, often until late into the night. Jong-Su, ever the laid-back and supportive member, was in charge of her dance lessons. "Don’t worry if you don’t get it right away," he said with a smile. "Just have fun with it. Min’s style is all about being cool and relaxed." Ye Joon helped her with Min’s mannerisms and artistic expressions. "Min has this way of moving his hands when he talks, and he always tilts his head slightly to the left. Try to mimic that," he explained, showing her how to capture Min’s unique gestures. Despite the intense training, Chin-Sun found moments of laughter and camaraderie with the members. Jong-Su's playful nature often lightened the mood, and even Ji-Yeong’s stern demeanor softened over time as he saw how hard she was trying. One evening, after a particularly grueling day of practice, Chin-Sun sat on the edge of the stage, her body aching and her mind racing. Ji-Yeong sat down beside her, handing her a bottle of water. "You did good today," he said, his tone softer than usual. "Thanks," Chin-Sun replied, taking a sip of water. "I just want to do it right. For Min." Ji-Yeong looked at her thoughtfully. "We all appreciate what you’re doing. It’s not easy, and I know I’ve been hard on you. But I see how dedicated you are. We’ll get through this." Chin-Sun smiled, feeling a warmth spread through her. "Thank you, Ji-Yeong oppa. That means a lot." As the days passed, Chin-Sun grew more confident in her role as Min. The members continued to support her, and she felt a growing bond with each of them. Despite the stress and the stakes, there were moments of genuine connection and even fun. Finally, the day of the next concert arrived. Chin-Sun stood backstage, dressed as Min, her heart pounding in her chest. The fans were already cheering loudly, unaware of the truth. "You’ve got this," Jong-Su said, giving her a reassuring smile. "Just remember everything we practiced," Ye Joon added. "You’re ready." Ji-Yeong stepped up beside her, his expression serious. "We believe in you, Chin-Sun. Go out there and show them what you’ve got." Chin-Sun took a deep breath and nodded. "I won’t let you down." As the opening notes of the first song played, Chin-Sun stepped onto the stage with the other members of The Prism. The lights were blinding, and the cheers of the fans were deafening. But she focused on everything she had learned and rehearsed. To her relief, the concert went smoothly. She sang and danced with all her heart, channeling Min’s energy and charisma. The fans seemed to accept her as Min, and the other members supported her every step of the way. Backstage, after the concert, the members congratulated her. "You were amazing!" Jong-Su said, giving her a high-five. "You did it," Ye Joon added, smiling warmly. Even Ji-Yeong looked genuinely impressed. "Well done, Chin-Sun. You’re really becoming part of the team." Chin-Sun felt a sense of accomplishment and relief. She had pulled it off. But she knew the hardest part was still ahead. They needed to find the person who had attacked Min and bring them to justice. In the days that followed, the group continued to perform and keep up appearances while working on their undercover mission. Chin-Sun, now fully integrated into their world, worked closely with Ji-Yeong, Jong-Su, and Ye Joon to gather clues and follow leads. They interviewed staff, scrutinized security footage, and even reached out to fans for any information that might help. It was a challenging and dangerous task, but Chin-Sun was determined to do whatever it took to help her idols. One evening, as they sat in their makeshift command center, Ji-Yeong looked at the gathered evidence. "We’re getting closer. I can feel it." Chin-Sun nodded, feeling a surge of hope. "We’ll find them. We have to." Jong-Su leaned back in his chair, his usual laid-back demeanor replaced with determination. "And when we do, they’ll pay for what they did to Min." Ye Joon looked at Chin-Sun, his eyes filled with admiration. "You’ve been incredible through all of this, Chin-Sun. We couldn’t have done it without you." Chin-Sun smiled, feeling a sense of belonging and purpose. "We’re in this together. For Min." As they continued their mission, Chin-Sun realized that her dream of meeting her idols had turned into something far more profound. She had become part of their world, not just as a fan, but as a trusted ally and friend. And as they worked together to uncover the truth and bring justice to Min, she knew that no matter what happened, she would always cherish this experience and the bonds she had formed with The Prism. Little did they know, the masked killer was still out there, watching their every move. But with Chin-Sun and the members of The Prism united, they were ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
