Chapter 92

Diana, trembling, threw her phone onto the floor. She staggered onto the bed, seemingly sobered up. Brian continued to expose her malicious schemes against Mia, thoroughly revealing her wrongdoings.
Diana, with a fearful look, stared at him, her lips trembling.
"Brian, what do you want? Please delete it..."
She seemed to be pleading. Brian, however, remained calm and composed.
"What do I want? I’ve already told you—I want you to sign the divorce papers. If you sign willingly, I’ll have all those articles deleted. Otherwise, by tomorrow, you’ll be facing jail time."
At this point, Diana's spine turned cold. Her lips continued to tremble.
"Are you really trying to force me into a corner?"
Brian, without haste, replied calmly.
"Yes."
Diana clenched her fists, tears welling up in her eyes, her whole body trembling. Finally, she rubbed her forehead and spat out the words through gritted teeth.
"I'll sign."
Brian coldly smiled and placed the divorce papers and pen in front of her.
"Good. Don’t delay. I don’t want to waste time."
Diana finally picked up the pen and signed the papers, her hands shaking. Her time was indeed over.
Brian took the signed papers and felt a sense of relief. Now that Mia had returned, he was determined to reunite with her.
He smiled and said, "You have three days to move your things out of my house. After today, we have no further relations."
With that, Brian left Diana's house with the divorce papers.
He drove straight to the civil affairs bureau to file the divorce papers, marking the end of his entanglement with Diana.
Brian kept his promise and called Phó Mặc to remove all the news articles. He also informed his father, Leonard, about the divorce.
His next plan was to rekindle his relationship with Mia and bring her back into the Leonard family. Mr. Leonard was very pleased with this decision and fully supported it.
The rain had stopped, the air was cool, and everything seemed to be covered in a thin layer of water.
Brian arrived at the Garcia house, rang the doorbell a few times, and was quickly let in. He drove inside, feeling light and relieved, as if he had just recovered a debt.
He hurried to Mia's room and saw her exiting the children's room, looking tired. She turned and saw him standing in the corner, startled, her heart racing.
She sighed and rubbed her chest. "Why did you appear so suddenly? You scared me..."
Brian smiled warmly. He slowly walked over to her and gently brushed her hair back.
"Sorry, I just finished my work. I'm free now..."
Mia tilted her head, not understanding his meaning. She understood that he had finished his work, but "free" was unclear to her.
Mia smiled faintly and gently reproached him. "Alright. The children are asleep... I haven’t asked you why you told Cyrus that I am his real mother. Deceiving children isn’t good..."
Brian took her hand and smiled awkwardly. "I really didn’t want Cyrus to think that his biological mother doesn’t love him. Besides, I’m sure you’ll love Cyrus, won’t you?"
Mia bit her lip. She pushed a finger into his chest. Her voice was a mixture of blame and affection.
"You... you’re right... whatever you say is right..."
They exchanged affectionate smiles. Brian then playfully said, "I’m sleepy now. Let’s go to bed..."
Mia was startled. Her face showed surprise. "Aren’t you going home? Are you staying here?"
Brian nodded vigorously.
Mia sighed in exhaustion and led him to her room. "Alright, alright..."
She guided him to her room. Brian quickly removed his tie and jacket, leaving only his white shirt and black trousers. He had even taken off his suspenders.
Brian obediently lay on the bed but felt unsettled when he saw Mia preparing to leave the room.
"Sleep with me."
Mia turned to him, puzzled. This man was truly strange—having taken over her room, he now wanted to take her as well?
Her lips twitched in frustration. She had to comfort him—like dealing with a big child.
Mia sighed and turned off the main light, then turned on the bedside lamp. After everything was set, she gently lay down on the bed.
She initially intended to keep her distance, but Brian moved closer and eventually pulled her into his arms.
"Why... why are you hugging me?"
Mia asked, slightly stuttering. Brian simply replied, "I’m cold."
Her lips twitched again. She was at her wit’s end. Finally, she decided to ignore him and tried to close her eyes to fall asleep.
However, soon, she felt a hot breath blowing steadily on her neck, making her shiver.
Just as Mia was about to ask him to stop blowing on her neck, Brian spoke first.
"Mia, marry me again..."
His voice was gentle but carried a pleading tone that made her question if she heard correctly.
"What did you say?"
She asked again, and Brian repeated himself.
"Marry me again..."
Mia sighed. Yes, she wasn’t hearing things. Was this a proposal? It certainly seemed like it.
Her heart raced, and her breath became slightly heavier.
"Marry you? No, Diana... she won’t let me go. I can’t... I need to protect my child..."
Brian realized she was still concerned about Diana. He tried to remain calm and added, "I’ve divorced her. I’ve informed my father. He’ll surely deal with her. As for me, I just want to rekindle our relationship..."
Mia smiled faintly, her voice weak. "Brian, did you ever think we couldn’t continue?"
"Not at all. We still can. I’m doing everything for you. I divorced her because I only want you as my wife. I’ve fulfilled my promise and responsibility. Five years of repayment to her are enough... I owe her nothing."
Mia fell silent for a moment before speaking. "But... how can we?"
Brian frowned. "Why can’t we? As long as you agree to marry me again, I’ll take care of everything..."
"But..."
She hesitated. She never thought she’d consider marrying him again so soon. Hearing about his divorce from Diana made her happy, but she was still uncertain...
Suddenly, Brian’s soothing, warm voice spoke beside her ear.
"I really love you, Mia... So I’m begging you... marry me... will you?"
"Me..."
At this point, he seemed to be in a hurry.
"Do you really not love me?"
"No, I..."
Brian sighed, his voice full of worry. "I’ll take good care of you... this time will be different... I won’t let you suffer... I’ll provide a good home and a perfect family for our child..."
His words touched her deeply. She wanted a perfect family for her child, one that lacked nothing.
She never expected to rekindle this relationship so soon. Sometimes, things don’t go as planned. A tear rolled down her cheek, and her lips quivered as she softly and shakily said.
"Can you ask me again?"
Brian smiled faintly. "Will you agree... to marry me again?"
"Yes... I agree..."
---
After signing the divorce papers, Diana immediately went out to drink. The next day, while preparing to pack her things, she was kidnapped by a group of men in black before she could even enter her house.
They took her to an abandoned house where more than a dozen people took turns assaulting her. They left only when she no longer breathed, making sure she was dead. These people were actually henchmen of Mr. Leonard, seeking justice for their daughter-in-law and settling old scores.
Not long after, Brian and Mia had a grand wedding with their two young children.
Their family was finally complete after years of separation and hardship.
In the end, Brian and Mia found their way back to each other. They initially thought of each other as strangers, but in the end, they realized that they were truly each other’s true love.
The End.
