Amidst the dimness of the night, in the glistening lights surrounding it, there's Henrick Jung, who became the star that attracted many people around. The melancholic strums of guitar with the touch of his sweet and soulful voice, the lyrics that she slightly understood, but for a reason making her tears urged to fall, and those eyes that seemed to talk to her reminded her of someone. Someone that isn't here but keeps lingering inside her heart. They have the same eyes. Sincere and innocent. Does it break their promise? Georgina, thinking about Giovanni while being with him. "Gia," A familiar voice resounds in Georgina's ears. It made her jolt out and lose her focus in front. She thought she was hallucinating because he couldn't stop thinking about him, but the voice seemed surreal for hallucinations. "Don't you hear me? I'm calling you Georgina." Someone grabbed her shoulder from the back, so she looked behind and saw him. It's the actual Giovanni Javier. "V-Van? H-how? W-what are you doing here?" She asked in surprise, but he just glanced toward Henrick before frowning. "You left the country with him?" He chuckled. "Let's talk somewhere else," Georgina couldn't speak a word when he dragged her away by force. His grip tightened as they walked away from the park. She's still at a loss for thoughts. She doesn't even know the situation she's in. Giovanni's emitting the same aura as the time their in camping. It's a dark, menacing aura. Even without looking at her, she knows he's mad. 'Mad of what?' she's enduring all this pain because of him. Amidst deep thoughts, she didn't notice that they stopped at a children's playground. Unlike the park before, the children's playground only has a single street light, it's silent, and there's no one around. "Argh. I'm hurting, Van." Georgina said, yanking her hand. "What's wrong with you? How did you know that I'm here? No, why did you even come here?" "I've been calling you since you hung up, but you didn't call back. Did you forget what I told you before? Are you here, together with that man, and having fun? Do you even care about what your mother's doing now?" Giovanni shouted at the top of his lungs. "Did you forget about me because you have someone on your side? What the hell is this, Gia? Did you remember something without telling me?" His voice toned up, and it made Georgina speechless. She didn't know what he was talking about, but no words came out of her mouth to clarify everything. "Did you forget how to speak? F*ck. Answer me, Georgina." He grabbed her shirt's collar and glared intensely. Instead of answering, she pursed her lips and looked away. "I-I don't know what you're talking about. We're here not because we want it. Henrick's mother forced us to take a vacation. It's not like I don't have any plan to tell you." "Tell it to me? When? If Jin didn't tell me that you left the country with that man, what's your plan to do next? Left me on your mother's radar and suffered alone while you..." He stopped for a while, with his trembling hands, his grips tightened again before he slightly pushed her. "Are you planning to leave me, Gia? Will you choose him again? I'm suffering because of you..." "V-Van, it's not like that..." She was about to reach for him, but he slapped her hand away. "It's the same thing." He said. "You're asking me why I'm here? I don't know. I don't know why I'm here standing in front of you. Why am I telling all these words? Why am I here, Gia? Is there any reason why I should be here and feeling like I've got defeated all over again?" Even though the area was dim, Georgina saw those tears in his eyes. Pain and fear, it's an emotions written on his face. A simple glimpse of it made Georgina's heart feel like something was poking her heart. She doesn't want to see him cry, not a single tear. All she wanted was to make him happy and show his usual smile. Without any thoughts in my mind, her hands moved on their own to reach his face. She hesitated for a bit, but in the end, she caressed his cheeks as a tear fell from her eyes. "I'm not going to leave you. How can I leave you with all those chaotic things going on? I caused all your pain, so how can I add more pain? V-Van..." They stare at each other for a few seconds as their tears fall. It's painful. Just looking straight into their eyes brings nothing but pain. She wants to tell him how she feels. But it won't help them. "Gia, you promised me. You'll bear the punishment for leaving me. Why do I feel like I got punished instead?" "N-no. I'm doing all of this for your sake. The evil witch won't leave you and your family alone unless I marry Henrick." She said, shrugging her head. "Besides, he's helping us. I'm doing this not for myself." "Gina?!" Both of them turned behind and saw Henrick's confused look as he glanced back and forth between them. His bewildered look turned to disbelief. He steps back with incredulity half-smile while clenching both fists. "H-Henrick..." Georgina said in surprise, taking her hand away from Giovanni's face. "T-this..." "I wonder where did you go, but here you are... With your ex, flirting." Henrick chuckled. "N-no, i-it's..." She was about to walk towards him, but Giovanni stopped her with trembling hands. "V-Van?!" "D-Don't go with him," A deafening silence resounds in the area amidst the awkward, intense atmosphere. The rustling of those dead leaves on the ground resonated as the cold wind brushed their body. Georgina didn't know what to do about the tension between the three. She glanced at Giovanni and saw him biting his quivering lips while staring at their hands. "G-Gia..." Giovanni almost murmured to himself. But she heard it, and it made her tears fall. There's a longing and pleading in his voice. It's as if Georgina will never turn to him once she chooses Henrick over him. It was the first time she saw him act like a lost child. He's always firm and straightforward. A man with an innocent smile and pride, but to see him become like this made her feel bad. "Y-you, you're f*cking already engaged with Kiela." In a split second, Henrick's fist landed on Giovanni's face. It happened so fast that even Georgina froze in the same spot with wide-open eyes as Henrick punched him again until Giovanni fell on the ground with blood on the side of his lips. "What are you f*cking doing? You should stay with Kiela and not flirt with someone you can't be with," Henrick tightened the grip on his collar as he raised him and was about to punch him with his spare hands, but Georgina stopped him. "S-Stop it, don't hurt him." She said. "Please, don't hurt him." "What did you say? You don't want me to hurt this unfaithful man? He's hurting Kiela for coming here. Did she even know that he came here to see you? Do you even know what Kiela would feel after knowing it? You always care for this selfish man but not for others who are hurting." Henrick raises his voice as he releases Giovanni and turns to Georgina with raging eyes. "Do you think the world only exists between the two of you? Someone is hurting because you keep pushing the things that didn't mean for both of you. Wake up, you idiotic woman." Georgina's tears fell as she gritted her teeth. "I... I know it more than anyone, but does anyone ask if we're both fine? We're humans who have feelings. Before you and Kiela come, there's the two of us. It's the two of us..." "G-Gia..." "I-I'm the one who ruined the two of us. There's no one to blame but me. It started with me and was supposed to end with me, so stop hurting Van. He didn't do anything but love a worst woman like me. Please, don't hurt him, don't blame him, and don't burden him. If it's not because of my mother, he'll never get forced to engage with Kiela." She looked towards Henrick with flowing tears. "I-It's me. It's all my fault." "Are you an idiot? You..." Before he could finish his words, Georgina walked past him and headed straight to help Giovanni to stand. A chuckle escaped his lips as he turned towards the two. "Will you break your promise to me?" He asked out of nowhere which made her jolted. "If you leave with him, don't expect me to fulfill my promise to you." Georgina bites her lower lips before wrapping her arms around Giovanni's waist. "I-I'm sorry, Henrick." "You're a f*cking crazy woman. Suit yourself," Henrick said before walking away, full of disappointment in tone.
