Episode 16.

"These men, known as the hunters, were the ones who pushed them into darkness," Carlos explained, as Adam leaned in, clearly intrigued by the details he was about to reveal.
"They struck fear into the hearts of the wolves, especially after the mighty wolf god met his demise," Carlos explained, pointing to a drawing of a particular werewolf that stood out.
This werewolf had grey fur, striking white eyes, and dangerously sharp claws. Anyone who gazed upon it could sense its inherent danger.
"One by one, these hunters hunted down these wolves, driving them into the shadows where they vanished, keeping their world hidden from humans. But now, I see signs of their return," Carlos disclosed, with Adam nodding in understanding.
While the tale was captivating, Adam was more interested in the aspect of how these werewolves were defeated. "It's a remarkable feat they accomplished, but what I truly want to know is how they achieved it," Adam inquired as Carlos closed the book.
"The key lay in the wolf's bane. They utilized this plant to create numerous weapons imbued with silver. It was a collective effort by a team known as the hunters," Carlos explained, as Adam listened intently.
Adam realized the importance of teamwork in facing this formidable challenge. "So, we need the hunters to reassemble before we can confront them?" Adam sought confirmation from Carlos, who simply nodded in agreement.
Adam took a deep breath, realizing that recruiting people and initiating a new group was not a concern, as he was capable of forming a strong support network.
Being the wealthiest person in town, Adam had the necessary funds for weapon production; however, acquiring Wolfsbane posed a challenge.
"Regarding the Wolfsbane, we need more than just the two of us to venture into the Forest. I believe I know a hunter who still resides here on earth; his expertise will be valuable," Carlos suggested, laying out a map on the table and indicating a specific location.
The spot marked the residence of an elderly man who held crucial information they sought, along with directions to the River Styx forest.
"We have a new journey ahead of us. As for your wife, leaving her alone is not an option," Adam pointed out, to which Carlos nodded in agreement.
"Have you thought about where she could go?" Adam inquired, noticing Carlos's uncertainty.
With no plan in mind, Carlos hesitated, realizing that his wife was his only family and their current home was all they knew.
Adam understood Carlos's dilemma as he remained silent, signaling his lack of preparation for his wife's future.
"Okay, in that case, I will give her my house to stay in. She will have maximum security, and everything she needs will be there for her," Adam stated.
Carlos sighed with gratitude. He understood that Adam was going to help, but he didn't expect it to be this generous.
"Oh, thank you so much, you've always been kind" Carlos said, and Adam smiled briefly at him.
"Nah, I should be the one thanking you instead," Adam responded.

Alpha Mula's Pack.
It was late, almost 11 p.m., when Mula rose from the bed and tenderly kissed the sleeping Elena.
Opening the window, the moonlight flooded their room, casting a soft glow over the surrounding woods.
Quietly, Mula began to dress, implying his intention to depart.
"What are you planning?" Elena's voice interrupted his movements. She always sensed his absence, waking as soon as she realized he was not beside her.
Aware of her keen perception, Mula abandoned any notion of slipping away unnoticed. Instead, he dressed calmly.
Upon hearing Elena's inquiry, he turned to face her with a knowing smile.
"I'm heading out with Ryan for a quick scout in the woods tonight. We'll be back shortly," Mula explained, finishing the last button on his attire.
Approaching Elena, he planted a soft kiss on her lips. "Don't worry, I'll return soon," he reassured her, sensing her unease.
"Promise me," she repeated. Without hesitation, Mula nodded in agreement, eager to maintain peace.
"I promise. It's just a hunt in the woods, we'll be back soon enough," Mula reassured Elena before leaving with Ryan.
Elena watched them disappear into the night from the window on the third floor, admiring the moonlight dancing on the trees.
Unconcerned about Mula's pursuit of Athena, as he headed towards his friend, the physician Alpha's pack instead of Alpha Dean's territory, she felt reassured.
After a moment of contemplation by the window, she returned to the bed, feeling a tinge of boredom. Standing up, she walked to the mirror, reflecting on her past and the uncertainties of her current situation.
Lost in thought, a sound from Mula's drawer caught her attention, resembling a notification.
She had been ignoring the constant notifications coming from the drawer, assuming it was just his phone and nothing more. However, the persistent interruptions forced her to finally check what was causing them. Reluctantly, she approached the drawer and found the phone inside. After confirming that the notifications were not urgent, she placed the phone back and was about to walk away when something caught her eye inside the drawer.
Though she couldn't immediately place it, there was a familiarity about the object. Intrigued, she paused and reopened the drawer, uncovering a handkerchief that concealed two portions of medicine given to her by the physician, which Mula had been withholding from her.
Recognizing the medicines, she hesitated before swiftly grabbing them and shutting the drawer. Realizing the significance of the moment, she felt it was the opportune time to take the medicine without Mula's knowledge.
Placing the two portions on the table, she contemplated her decision. Her thoughts conflicted, torn between returning the medicine before the alpha's return and taking it as a stronger impulse urged her to do so.
"I'm sorry if I don't survive this, Mula. I understand your fear of losing me, but I know now that I must take this step for our own well-being," Elena whispered to herself, her voice filled with emotion, as she prepared to take the medicine, starting with the green portion in her hand.
