Episode 19.

At The Coast.

Adam, along with his friend Carlos and a group of other men, had already prepared themselves and were getting ready to board the boat and set off. They were heading to the forest of River Styx with all the necessary equipment.
"How confident are you about this?" Adam asked Carlos, standing close to him as they watched their men prepare to depart.
"I know my heart isn't as strong for this as yours, but if yours is, then I'm good to go," Carlos replied. Adam nodded, and they both prepared to board the boat.
Their team had already equipped the boat and started it, waiting for Adam and Carlos to board.
"Come on, men, let's go!" one of the men shouted, urging them to get in as they exchanged a glance and took a deep breath.
"And the message I asked you to send to Olivia through your wife?" Adam inquired as he prepared to board.
"I made sure it was sent," Carlos confirmed. They nodded at each other and patted each other on the back.
They boarded the boat, setting off in a super boat manufactured by Adam's company. It was a spacious boat capable of carrying heavy loads while moving swiftly like a flying boat.

Adam Kindle's Home.
It was midnight, yet Adam's home appeared peaceful, illuminated by the soft glow of lights that hinted at someone's presence inside.
Olivia's car glided into the compound and came to a stop. Stepping out, she made her way to the door, tapping on it gently.
"Thank goodness, he's back," Olivia whispered to herself, a sigh of relief escaping her lips as she assumed Adam was home.
As her knocks went unanswered, she rapped on the door again, waiting for a response.
Before she could knock once more, the door swung open.
"Carlos, is that..." The young woman's voice faded as she realized Olivia was not the person she expected.
Olivia, too, was taken aback by the sight of another woman in the house, a face unfamiliar to her. Initially feeling a pang of jealousy at the thought of Adam with another woman, she hesitated, not jumping to conclusions. As they locked eyes, a silent understanding passed between them.
"I'm Gwen. Who are you, and what brings you here?" Gwen inquired, studying Olivia, who managed a small smile, shaking her head slightly.
Feeling a tinge of jealousy but trying to mask it, Olivia saw Gwen's question as a slight, though she held her composure.
"Excuse me? Shouldn't I be the one asking that? Who are you?" Olivia questioned, her eyes widening as she stood before Gwen, who had a gentle smile playing on her lips.
"Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't realize it was you. I apologize if my response seemed offensive. Please come in; Adam has left a message for you," Gwen said, gesturing for Olivia to enter, who continued to gaze at her in surprise.
"He left a message for me? He's not home?" Olivia inquired, to which Gwen nodded in affirmation.
"No, he's not. He's gone somewhere far away," Gwen replied, but Olivia remained suspicious, finding the situation rather peculiar.
"I don't understand. He's not here, yet he granted you access to his home?" Olivia probed further, her confusion mounting. Feeling exasperated by the questions, Gwen responded firmly.
"Yes, he allowed me in. Please, calm down, let me explain!" Gwen raised her voice, then immediately regretted her tone, taking a deep breath to compose herself.
"I have no ill intentions; I was friends with his fiancé, Carlos. He informed me about you and left a message. Come inside, and we can talk," Gwen clarified, putting Olivia's mind at ease and dispelling her suspicions.
Olivia had initially harbored doubts about their relationship, suspecting foul play, but now reassured by Gwen's explanation, she stepped inside, willing to hear more.
Gwen gestured for Olivia to have a seat, but Olivia didn't wait for permission. She quickly sat down, and Gwen joined her.
"Would you like something to cool off?" Gwen offered, but Olivia shook her head.
"I'm fine. Just get to the point. Where is my boss?" Olivia inquired, prompting Gwen to speak.
"I honestly don't know. He mentioned that no matter what occurs, he trusts that he's left his affairs in capable hands. You're to take charge until his return," Gwen explained, while Olivia regarded her with suspicion.
Olivia found Gwen's response unhelpful. Why wouldn't Adam inform her of his whereabouts?
"I think I'll call him myself. I spoke to him earlier today. How could he vanish without a word?" Olivia wondered, reaching for her phone to dial Adam's number.
"No, he left his phone behind. They went somewhere they won't need their phones, probably a risky place," Gwen explained, producing Adam's phone and other items he had left, handing them to Olivia.
"What have you done to him? Why—" Olivia started, but Gwen interrupted with a crucial piece of information.
"He wanted me to give you this. It's a gift from him, in case he doesn't return," Gwen said, presenting a necklace to Olivia, who fell silent, recognizing its significance, overcome with relief and emotion.
The necklace she had bought for him held a special place in her heart, a token of a love that was never meant to be. She had given it to him before discovering he was betrothed to another, his ex-wife who had now departed from his life. Seeing him still cherishing the necklace stirred bittersweet emotions within her, as he had never worn it in her presence.
Olivia's belief in Gwen's words solidified with this small gesture. "Gwen, what's the matter? Where has he gone?" Olivia's voice trembled with unshed tears as she took the necklace from Gwen, holding it close to her heart.
"I wish I knew. My husband left with him too. I never wanted him to go, but he insisted it was for our own safety. They embarked on a journey, destination unknown, but I sensed danger in their preparations," Gwen confided.
"Danger?" Olivia's eyes widened in fear.

Alpha Dean's Territory.
"Where are you taking me? We're heading to Dean's territory! Where are we going?" Elena shouted as Ryan drove the car at incredible speed.
They were already on the highway, and Ryan couldn't help but increase the car's speed. He knew Elena wouldn't willingly return to Dean after everything Mula had told her and everything she had heard because Mula had only made her more convinced.
Despite the car heading towards Dean's territory, Ryan was not prepared to respond to Elena, who was screaming at him.
"Take me back now! Are you crazy? What's gotten into you, Ryan?" Elena yelled, shocked by Ryan's silence as he drove towards Alpha Dean's pack, which seemed to be the reason for his silence.
Although she began to suspect, Elena couldn't bring herself to believe that Ryan, Mula's beta, would betray his alpha for another. It troubled her deeply, but as they neared Alpha Dean's pack, it became clear that Ryan was leading her back to him.
"Stop this car now, or I'll open the door and jump out with my baby!" Elena cried, clutching her newborn child. Ryan still didn't pay attention until she grabbed the door and pushed it open.
"No!" Ryan screamed, realizing he was in a big mess, torn between Mula and Dean as he watched Elena jump.
