"The spell should have killed that kid, but it doesn't seem be the case" emerging from the smoke I simply patted down my clothes. "Was that all you all you got, how disappointing because the whole chant was long sounds epic" I commented "Follow up your attack then" I mockingly taunting his opponents "Oh, is that so kid then about this" his staff shines as a magic circle appear below me circle releasing chains that tied up my body. "I, the follower of blood and flesh, Call upon the ancient rite, From veins that pulse with crimson might, By life's own river, fierce and red, I summon forth the powers of the dead. With blood as ink, and flesh as clay, I bend the will of night and day. Through sacred cuts and wounds that bleed, By blood's own law, I shall succeed. Oh, blood of mine, in darkness seep, Awake the power buried deep. From bone to marrow, heart to soul, Let blood's dominion take control. While he is chanting, I slowly broke the chains and prepare my attack. By sacrifice of flesh and bone, I claim this power as my own. Blood be bound and blood be free, Answer-gghhhh!!?? he got slash by an invisible blade then I followed by a sweep kick then grabbing the face and slamming him in the floor that sends out shockwave throughout the room. "Dumbass you think that I will let cast that magic" while I'm holding head of disfigured magician, the lady of darkness try use the shadow to retrieve her ally, but I counter her move with same move but more with more power put into it, pushing her into the other side of the room. "I'll deal with you later so stay there for now" as I look down the mage was no longer there, he disappears. I turn around and lock eyes with the lady of darkness "hey, where did you hide him" as send out elemental attacks at her. Within the shadow of lady darkness, 'Acck!, damn it how the hell did that kid power suddenly increase it, he's completely overwhelming me in every aspect' "What the hell did you do to make him attain the power suddenly" he questions the lady of darkness, but she cannot reply because haruki continuously dishing out attacks. She tried to use her void magic to absorb the attacks, but it was futile. In a flash, Haruki appeared behind her, moving faster than she could react. He delivered a sharp elbow strike to her ribs, knocking the wind out of her. Before she could recover, he spun and landed a swift roundhouse kick to the side of her head, sending her staggering. Without giving her a chance to breathe, Haruki followed up with an uppercut, lifting her off the ground slightly, before slamming her back down with a vicious palm strike to her chest knocking her down. haruki looks down and reach his hand into her shadow grabbing something. Suddenly a hand grabs him out the shadow. "Found you" haruki smirks while holding him in his neck. "How did you-----" before he could finish talking, I deliver devasting punch into his stomach destroying his organs and bones then I tossed into ground then I follow up thick an axe kick to his head which crushed his skull. after the fight I heard a sound, so I follow the sound, and it led me into the wall near the throne. I walked near it then it slowly opens revealing the stairs going upwards but before leaving this room I need to finish her off, so walked back to her then put my finger unto her forehead. “Hrgggggh!” she growled, her voice strained with effort as she thrust her hands forward, summoning the dark tendrils of shadow magic. The swirling, inky blackness snaked through the air, twisting and writhing toward me with malicious intent. The very atmosphere seemed to thicken, growing cold as her magic sought to envelop me. But with a mere word, I severed the connection. “Stop!” I commanded, my voice ringing out, crisp and absolute. The shadows froze mid-air, suspended like blackened smoke. They trembled for a moment before dispersing into nothingness, like wisps of night dissolving in daylight. Her eyes widened in disbelief, her power brought to a sudden halt, and before she could react further, I reached into her mind. My mental spell coiled through her thoughts like a viper, swift and unseen, gripping her consciousness tightly. Her eyes widened in disbelief; her power halted so effortlessly. But I wasn’t finished. Before she could react, I delved into her mind, forcing her memories to the surface. My spell tore through her mental defences like brittle glass, prying open the hidden recesses of her consciousness. "ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!" she is screaming pain as I start to delve deeper into her mind. "So, this your past huh?" A young girl stood in the corner of a dimly lit room, her hands clutching a torn doll, its eyes missing. Shadows flickered on the walls as she heard the heavy footsteps approaching, her breath quickening with fear. Her father’s angry voice boomed, full of rage, a sound that still echoed within her even after all these years. She cowered in the corner, helpless, watching as he shattered everything she loved, her world collapsing piece by piece. “No… no, stop…” she whispered, her voice trembling, barely audible. But I ignored her pleas, amplifying the memories until they drowned her. The scene changed again—this time, she stood over a lifeless figure, blood staining her hands. A friend, someone she had loved, now gone because of her own magic. The weight of guilt pressed down on her like a suffocating cloak, the memory of her failure gnawing at her soul. “You couldn’t save them,” I whispered, twisting the knife deeper. “You were too weak, too careless.” She screamed, her voice raw and ragged, as the memories flooded her mind. Each one stabbed deeper than the last, a relentless onslaught of agony, tearing apart her very essence. Her knees gave way beneath her, sending her crashing to the ground like a lifeless puppet. Her hands clawed desperately at her head, nails digging into her scalp as if trying to rip the pain from her mind, but it was no use. The torrent was unending. “Make it stop!” she shrieked, her voice cracking under the strain, tears streaming down her face in thick, broken rivulets. “Please… please, no more!” I watched her crumble, unmoved. There was no mercy in my gaze. No respite in my spell. “There is no escape,” I whispered into her thoughts, amplifying her anguish. I ripped her worst moments from the deepest pits of her memory, exposing every fear, every mistake, every unbearable regret. She relived them all, over and over again, each cycle more excruciating than the last. The betrayal of those she trusted, the death of the only person who ever loved her, the blood on her hands that she could never wash away—it all enveloped her like a suffocating fog. Each scene stretched into eternity, time slowing to a crawl until mere moments became unbearable lifetimes. “You think this is pain?” I taunted, my voice a venomous hiss inside her skull. “This is only the beginning.” Her wails turned into guttural sobs as her body convulsed on the ground, writhing in agony. Her mind buckled under the weight of endless suffering, and still, I did not relent. I forced her to watch the faces of those she’d failed twist into grotesque masks of accusation, their voices rising in a cacophony of condemnation. “You let us die!” they screamed at her, again and again, their voices clawing at her sanity. “You were too weak!” Her screams had become hoarse whispers, her throat raw from crying out in despair. But I pushed her further. I dragged her through the shattered remains of her soul, twisting her broken memories until she no longer knew what was real and what was a nightmare of her own making. She thrashed on the ground like a dying animal, her hands bleeding as her nails tore into her flesh. Her mind fractured, splintering under the relentless pressure of her past. I watched as her sense of self disintegrated, leaving behind nothing but a hollow shell. She was no longer even human, just a twisted, broken thing consumed by the agony I had forced upon her. Finally, I released her. She lay before me, utterly destroyed, her body twitching in the dirt, eyes wide and vacant, unseeing. The once-defiant spark in her gaze had been extinguished, snuffed out like a dying flame. Only emptiness remained. "Don’t you ever dare disrespect my grandparents, you insignificant speck of filth!" as I walk away from her disintegrating body. "It's your turn now, die!" as I use the shadows to shallow him whole Enemy POV I awoke in a void. “Where am I?” I muttered, my voice echoing in the oppressive darkness. I tried to move, to look for anything, but there was no end—just an abyss, stretching out in all directions, suffocating and cold. Then I felt it—an eerie presence in front of me. My heart pounded as I forced myself to look up. Just a glimpse was enough to send a violent shudder through my body. My vision blurred, and a sharp pain ripped through my chest. Blood gushed from my mouth as I doubled over, choking on the metallic taste. “Auuuwwghh...!” I gasped, trembling. It was then that I remembered my teacher’s words, the warning that had always lingered in the back of my mind: “Sebastian, never provoke the gods. For if you do, you will suffer for eternity.” Panic surged through me. My entire body screamed to flee, but no matter how hard I tried to run, no matter how far I went, I always ended up in the same place—right in front of the god. My legs wobbled beneath me, terror coursing through my veins like ice. There was no escape. Desperate, I fell to my knees, my voice shaking as I begged, “Please… let me go. I swear, I’ll never offend you again. Just… spare me.” A heavy silence hung in the air before the god lowered his face toward me. My blood ran cold. His smile stretched unnaturally wide, ear-to-ear, filled with malice and amusement. I could feel his power, overwhelming and suffocating, toying with me like I was nothing more than an insect beneath his boot. “Help…” I reached out, my hand trembling as I pleaded for mercy. But it was useless. I could feel it—my very soul unraveling, as though he was plucking it apart, thread by thread, savoring every moment. He wasn’t just punishing me. He was playing with my existence, twisting it, warping it, stretching my torment across eternity. There would be no escape, no end. Only suffering, forever at the hands of this god. And I was powerless to stop it.
