Chapter 24 VALENTIN IS MY BOYFRIEND

"Ha, look at the time, it's getting dark," I said, trying to sound casual. "I think it's time for you to leave."
Valentin pouted, his lower lip jutting out in a teasing smile. "Can't I just spend the night here?" he asked, his eyes sparkling with mischief.
I shook my head, trying to firm up my resolve. "No, you can't," I said, trying to sound stern.
But Valentin just laughed, his eyes glinting with amusement. He stood up, his movements fluid and graceful, and moved close to me until my back touched the wall.
"I don't want to leave," he whispered, his breath tickling my ear. "I want to stay here with you, Ava. I want to wake up next to you in the morning."
I felt my heart racing, my pulse pounding in my veins. I knew I should push him away, but my body seemed to have other ideas.
"Valentin, please," I whispered, trying to sound firm. "You need to leave."
But Valentin just smiled, his fangs glinting in the fading light. "Just one more kiss," he whispered, his lips brushing against mine.
And I knew I was lost.
He did it again, but this time it was slow. His lips brushed against mine, sending shivers down my spine. I felt like I was melting into him, like our bodies were becoming one.
Valentin's kiss was gentle, yet passionate. He took his time, exploring my mouth with his tongue, his fangs grazing my lips.
I felt like I was drowning in his kiss, like I was losing myself in his embrace. My arms wrapped around him, pulling him closer, deepening the kiss.
Time stood still as we kissed. The world around us faded away, leaving only the two of us, lost in the moment.
Valentin's hands roamed my body, his fingers tracing the contours of my skin. I felt like I was on fire, like my body was burning with desire.
And then, just as suddenly as it had begun, the kiss ended. Valentin pulled back, his eyes locked onto mine, his chest heaving with passion.
"I have to go," he whispered, his voice husky with desire. "But I'll be back, Ava. I promise."
And with that, he was gone, leaving me breathless and wanting more.
The next day in college, I walked into class with a spring in my step and a smile on my face. My friends noticed it immediately.
"Ava, what's going on?" my friend Emily asked, raising an eyebrow. "You look like you're walking on clouds."
I just shrugged, trying to play it cool. "I don't know, I just had a good morning, I guess."
But as the class session went on, my friends continued to tease me about my constant smiling. "Ava's in love!" they whispered to each other, giggling.
I tried to brush it off, but I couldn't help it. I was still feeling the aftereffects of Valentin's kiss. It was like my body was still buzzing with electricity, my heart still racing with excitement.
And then, just as class was ending, I saw him. Valentin was standing outside the classroom, leaning against the wall, looking like a model.
Our eyes met, and I felt my heart skip a beat. He smiled, and I smiled back, feeling like a total goofball.
"Ava, who is that?" Emily asked, following my gaze.
I just shook my head, still smiling. "No one," I said, trying to play it cool.
But my friends weren't buying it. They knew something was up, and they were determined to find out what.
I walked into my apartment, knowing that Valentin was following me. I could feel his eyes on me, sense his presence behind me.
I opened the door and entered, expecting to find my apartment empty. But to my surprise, my friends were there, lounging on the couch and chairs.
"Hey, Ava!" they chimed in unison, looking at me with curious expressions.
And then they saw Valentin, standing behind me in the doorway. Their eyes widened in surprise, and they exchanged knowing glances.
"Valentin, what are you doing here?" Emily asked, her voice laced with amusement.
Valentin smiled, his eyes locked onto mine. "I could ask you the same thing," he said, his voice low and husky.
My friends looked at me, then back at Valentin, and I knew they were putting two and two together.
"Ava, what's going on?" Sarah asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
I sighed, knowing I couldn't hide it anymore. "Valentin and I...we met yesterday," I admitted, feeling my face heat up with a blush.
My friends looked at each other, then back at me, their expressions shocked and excited.
"Spill the tea, Ava!" Emily exclaimed, leaning forward in her seat.
And I knew I had no choice but to tell them everything.
"Valentin is my boyfriend," I spilled out, feeling like I'd just revealed a deep, dark secret.
My friends' jaws dropped in unison, their eyes wide with shock and excitement.
"WHAT?!" Emily exclaimed, jumping up from the couch. "Ava, how did this happen?!"
Sarah and Rachel started firing off questions, their voices overlapping in a cacophony of excitement.
"When did you meet him? How did you meet him? What's he like? Is he a good kisser?"
I laughed, feeling a little overwhelmed but also relieved to finally share my secret.
"Okay, okay, one question at a time!" I said, holding up my hands.
Valentin chuckled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "I think I'll let Ava tell the story," he said, smiling at me.
And so I told them everything - how I met Valentin, and everything in between.
My friends listened with rapt attention, their faces aglow with excitement and curiosity.
When I finished, they all turned to Valentin, their eyes sparkling with approval.
"We like him," Emily said, smiling at Valentin. "He's definitely Ava-approved."
Valentin grinned, his fangs glinting in the light. "Thanks, I think," he said, chuckling.
