Episode 20.
Elisa was finally released and found herself in the room with the Luna.
She couldn't believe her eyes as she sat on the bed, resembling someone feeling cold. The fact that she had almost lost her life just a few seconds ago was still sinking in.
Elisa marveled at her strong fate; even Dean couldn't bring himself to order her burning, yet here she was, alive and well.
Elena, too, was relieved that Elisa had been freed. She offered her some water, which Elisa declined, but then helped her clean up with her clothes.
"Maybe you should rest a little; you look exhausted," Elena suggested gently, touching her cheeks as she took a deep breath, still trembling with fear.
Elisa was momentarily speechless. The events of the past few minutes loomed large in her mind. She pondered what might have happened if Max hadn't intervened. Perhaps they would have been carrying her ashes out by now. Her thoughts raced.
"Come on, you need to get some sleep," Elena urged, even though Elisa remained unresponsive. Elena could tell that the trauma of what the innocent girl had witnessed had left her in shock.
At the sound of Elena's words, Elisa attempted to lie down on the bed, only to be interrupted by a forceful push on their door, startling them both.
To their great surprise, it was Mula. "Mula!" Elena exclaimed as she rushed to him, embracing him tightly as they shared a deep kiss.
"I'm so happy to see you again," Mula murmured as Elena returned to the bed, cradling her baby.
"Here, meet Junior," Elena said, presenting the baby to Mula, who smiled briefly and then gently touched the baby's face.
"He has eyes like his mother," Mula remarked, smiling along with them before reaching out to hold Elena's hand.
"We should leave right away. Can you walk, Elisa?" Mula inquired, moving closer to her, prepared to lift her into his arms.
However, both women looked at him with surprise, not comprehending his suggestion to leave.
"I don't understand. Where are we supposed to go?" Elena asked, prompting a surprised expression from Mula.
"What do you mean? We should go home, of course! We need to hurry!" he exclaimed, only to be immediately interrupted by Elisa.
"Dean didn't tell you why you were released? It's not safe outside. We can't leave here!" Elisa exclaimed, leaving Mula looking at them in confusion.
He could tell that the situation was becoming all too real for Elena and Elisa, who exchanged frustrated smiles as they shook their heads.
"You both know Dean is a master manipulator. I can't believe you're falling for his tricks once again," he remarked, placing his hands on his waist as Elena walked up to him.
"You're mistaken! This isn't a trick. We have witnesses. Ryan and Max saw it," Elena insisted, causing him to smile slightly and shake his head.
His smile held a touch of frustration, signaling his disappointment in Elisa and Elena for believing a story involving Dean's most trusted agents, Max and Ryan.
"Really? You're taking Max and Ryan's word as truth? Come on, Elena. This could be our only chance to escape. These guys are definitely up to something," he argued.
"I can tell when Dean is playing games and when he's not. I've always wanted to leave this place, but believe me, the threat is real. It's out there. Your pack has been vulnerable since your absence. You should check on them first," Elena urged, and Mula could see the validity in her words.
Considering the alleged threat they discussed, he decided to visit his pack first to ensure their safety and to learn more about the situation. He nodded in agreement.
"I think you're right," he conceded, realizing he couldn't embark on such a journey alone. He thought of no one better than Ryan to accompany him.
Leaving the room, he returned to the dungeon where Ryan sat, looking helpless as the door cracked open and he saw Mula standing before him.
Their eyes met, and they silently acknowledged each other with a nod.

Alpha Mula's Pack.
Before, there were always many wolves surrounding the pack, kept by Mula to protect the pack.
But now, they were all gone. Some of them lay on the ground, lifeless and bleeding heavily.
The pack was eerily calm, as if recently attacked by unknown forces.
Soon, Mula arrived at the pack in his car, coming to a gentle stop as he stepped out, with Ryan following suit.
Both of them stood there, shocked at the sight of the many dead wolves. One of Mula's strongest wolves had met a particularly gruesome end.
As they approached, examining the body covered in marks and bleeding profusely, Mula muttered in disbelief, "What could have done this? Slaughtered my pack."
Ryan, equally stunned, replied, "It seems to have happened recently." They then entered the house, only to find more lifeless bodies.
There was no sign of life until Mula entered his room and searched around. Just as he was about to leave, he noticed something hiding behind the curtain.
He thought it was the creature responsible for the carnage, his breath quickening as he cautiously drew back the curtain. Melissa's piercing scream filled the room.
"No! Please don't hurt me! Leave me be!" she cried out, her voice muffled by Mula's hand.
"Shh, it's alright. It's your alpha," he reassured her in a hushed tone, calming her panicked breaths. Ryan entered the room, concern evident in his eyes.
"How did she escape?" he inquired, closing the distance between them.
"I found her hiding under the curtain just now," Mula replied, glancing at Ryan. Together, they gazed at Melissa, who was still trembling.
"You're safe now. Can you tell us what happened, who did this?" Ryan asked gently, as Melissa struggled to compose herself.
"It wasn't a who... it was a what. I don't know what it is. It moves swiftly, like a gust of wind. It slaughtered everyone in an instant," she explained, her voice barely above a whisper.
Ryan and Mula exchanged a knowing look, realizing the gravity of the situation.
"It's the beast we've heard about, it must be the one that struck this pack ruthlessly," Ryan remarked, urging them to join the others in preparing for defense at Dean's pack.
"I told you. Let's go now. We need to rally the pack and fortify our defenses," Ryan said, before heading out. Mula lifted Melissa gently, reassuring her as he carried her to the car. Together, they drove back to the Dean's pack.

Adam Kindle's Home.
Olivia was finally ready to proceed with the court case, knowing that today would be crucial in determining the outcome.
"Olivia, please don't go. I understand how you feel. You might end up in jail. Do this for me, let go of this company. You have so many other businesses," Gwen pleaded desperately as Olivia and her lawyer prepared to leave the house.
"Don't worry, everything will be fine. We won't lose this time, I promise," reassured Raymond to Gwen.
"You've been losing since day one. I don't see today being any different. Olivia, just drop the case. Please don't leave me alone again. I won't be able to bear it. I've already lost so much," Gwen continued to plead as Olivia approached her, allowing her to rest her head on her shoulder as they embraced.Download Novelah App
