"Great King, please help me, your son took my friend," Nicholas begged the king, whose face showed no emotion. "And how are you sure that my son took your friend?" the king asked, frowning. Nicholas stood up from kneeling and looked at Peter, who immediately understood what Nicholas meant. "Great King, I was with another friend who witnessed the prince coming to the town of San Mariano, where they took and captured our friend, Bryan," Peter explained. The king raised an eyebrow, as if still not satisfied with Peter's words. Noticing this, Peter continued, surprising the king even more. "The prince had a gun with him, along with his guards, and he fired it in the air to scare us," Peter said in a trembling voice, though the king, Nicholas, and the guards heard him clearly. Peter was now shaking with fear because of what he had said. He knew he was telling the truth, but the thought of angering the king because of what he said about his son made his voice weak. They all hoped the king would believe Peter's words. "Do you know where my son took your friend?" the king asked again, now sounding like he believed Peter. "They took him to the palace—" Peter’s answer was cut off when a male voice suddenly echoed from inside the palace. "Father." They all turned to see the prince, his face still emotionless and blank. The prince looked at his father and then at the two men. The prince stopped beside the king and looked Peter and Nicholas up and down. "Good day, what can we help you with?" the prince greeted, as if he didn’t know what was happening. "You took my friend!" Nicholas shouted angrily, trying to rush at the prince, but the guards quickly grabbed his arms to stop him. The prince raised an eyebrow, acting like he didn’t know what Nicholas was talking about. "Excuse me, your highness, but—" The prince stopped talking as soon as he recognized Nicholas’s face. "You!" the prince suddenly shouted, pointing at Nicholas, shocking everyone. The king looked at his son and scolded him. "Theodore," the king said in warning, but the prince ignored him. He quickly pulled a gun from his pocket, making everyone step back. "Theodore," the king said again, but the prince still didn’t listen. "So, I finally found you," the prince said angrily, glaring at Nicholas and pointing the gun at him. Suddenly, the guards also pulled out their guns and aimed them at the prince, who looked shocked by their actions. "What? Why are you pointing a gun at me? Don’t you know who I am? I am your prince, and you should respect me!" he shouted, as if he was going mad. The guards looked at the king, who was also holding a gun aimed at the prince. "What?! Are you taking their side now? I’m your son, and you’re pointing a gun at me? Are you crazy?" the prince asked, not believing what was happening. "Maybe you should ask yourself that. Why do you have a gun? Maybe you’re the one going crazy," the king said seriously, surprising everyone. The people in the palace were hiding, scared of getting caught in the chaos. "You’re not my real son. If only I had listened to my feelings, knowing you weren’t truly my son, things wouldn’t have gotten this bad. Everything is in chaos, and it’s all because of you." No one spoke. Everyone nearby was shocked by the king’s sudden confession. Theodore laughed, tears falling from his eyes, which he quickly wiped away. "You f*cking *ssh*le!" Theodore immediately pulled the trigger, ready to shoot his father, but he was shocked when his body suddenly fell to the ground. Behind him, they saw Philip and other guards, and with them was the princess, who was looking straight into Nicholas's eyes. Nicholas was shocked to see the woman who had captured his heart from the very beginning. "Princess," Nicholas whispered, as the princess smiled at him, making his heart beat even faster. The guards quickly took Theodore’s body and rushed him to the hospital. Nicholas couldn’t move from his spot after hearing everything the king said. Even Peter was trembling in fear after witnessing the scene. "Great King, are you okay?" the princess asked, concerned, and the king nodded, putting his gun back in his pocket. "Thank you for your concern, princess. You came just in time. If you hadn’t arrived, I might not be here anymore," the king said sadly. Everyone understood why the king was sad. He had just revealed that Theodore wasn’t really his son. Even though the king loved him, Theodore never showed even a little love for the man who raised him. The king looked at Nicholas and approached him. "Nicholas, I know you," the king said, surprising Nicholas, as the king tapped his arm.
