Felis returned to her room quickly like a panicked cat. Immediately she closed the window, then crouched in front of the couch. After a few seconds, she looked out the window. To ensure that no one followed her from the pine forest. In between her own heartbeat, Felis heard someone open the door of her house. Felis closed her eyes and pricked her ears. But she could not read the contents of this man's mind. Out of curiosity and alert, Felis ran out of her room. "Marlon?" Seeing Candramawa's father, Felis remembered the nightmare of that anomalous green mist again. "Oh, I came looking for your mother," said the man with a calm face. A moment later as if realizing something, the man faced Felis again. "Where's my daughter?" Marlon narrowed his eyes, lowered his voice and asked in an ominous tone. Felis looked away, "I don't know." "You guys went to Vertellar together, how could you not know?" Marlon approached. Felis felt increasingly uncomfortable. She felt Marlon hunting her and cornering her. "What happened to my daughter?" The man tries not to be prejudiced against the child of his future wife. His hands clenched, so that his isikla wouldn't stick out now. "Did you eat my child?" "I left her in the pandan forest." Felis said slowly. Full of guilt. But she wasn't afraid. It turns out. “How—oh god!” Marlon back. His eyes radiated serious concern. He lowered his head, then slaughtered Felis with another look. "You didn't kill her, did you? Look at your eyes. What have you done to her?” "I'll look for her tomorrow, uncle." Felis replied. "Tomorrow? What if—” The man's eyes suddenly turned red. “I'm sorry…” This time Felis begged. But Marlon could not hold back his patience. “I take care of your mother! Why you—is this how you repay what we've done for your family?” Marlon scratched his head. "Listen, Uncle. I can explain it!” Felis followed Marlon who was burning his beard. "Ouch, how should I say it?" Felis was confused. She really didn't know whether to start from the beginning or what. It was impossible for Felis to describe the part where she attacked Candramawa who was caught off guard. She couldn't possibly tell of her betrayal. Felis was too easily agitated. "Essentially, the fog made me hallucinate, then Deluna came and asked for the book. Weesa village was on fire, then Candramawa didn't care, she wanted us to keep looking for the bell. I got angry and—" "And you killed my daughter!" Marlon couldn't hold back his anger anymore. He strangled Felis' neck so that the girl stood on her tiptoes. “Deluna has been dead for a long time. All Reedas are dead except for you Felis. The future I saw was right, Candramawa should have killed you a long time ago." In this state, Felis couldn't think of anything else other than trying to free herself from Marlon's grip. From her knuckles a sharp aisikla protruded, without waiting for it to rip Marlon's arm. His grip released, Felis sat on the floor. “Go, Uncle…” Felis knew, since the first blood dripped from Marlon's wound, she would not be able to hold herself back. "Not until you can be held responsible for whatever you did to Candramawa's life." said Marlon, stubborn. “I told you I will catch up with her tomorrow!” Felis was exasperated by Marlon's behavior, who was becoming more and more like Candramawa. Marlon looked down. His shoulders loosened slowly. He sat in front of Felis, when Mrs. Furla and a man with the same face as Marlon entered through the front door. "Felis, what's going on?" Mrs. Furla came closer, but the man behind her held her arm. “Mark, what are you doing here?” asked the man standing near her mother. Felis stood up and looked at the two same faces alternately with confusion. "You are twins?" "He's Markus," Marlon said, pointing to the man behind Mrs. Furla. The other man shook his head. "He's Markus." "Let me go, Felis quickly get out of here." Mrs. Furla tried to get away. "Let go of my mother!" Felis snapped, she tried to get closer. "I am Candramawa's father, and I will not treat my future wife like that." Marlon was still trying to convince Felis while pointing at Mrs. Furla and his twin. "Trust me, he's Mark. He killed your father, Felis.” Felis waited for the other to defend herself. Mark wet his lips before replying, "We were both there." Hearing that, Felis could no longer contain herself. She pulled Marlon who was still crumpled in place. A golden red aisikla crosses the man's neck. Mrs. Furla shrieked at the sight in front of her. “Demon…” screamed Mrs. Furla. “Which one of you is Marlon?” Felis asked warily. Markus sighed, while smiling pointing at the helpless man in front of Felis, his one hand still holding Mrs. Furla. "Are you Markus?" Mrs. Furla was confused. Markus nodded. "Then let me go!" snapped Mrs. Furla. But less than a second when she struggled, thousands of aisikla appeared from Mark's palm and crushed the woman's arm. Mrs. Furla screamed in pain. "Mother!" Felis wanted to meet her mother. But she couldn't let Marlon go either. There was a part of her that made her hands sticky. Felis secretly felt hungry. "Don't yell at me!" Markus protested at Marlon's future wife. Then he turned to Felis "Give me back my brother, or I will kill your mother." Felis didn't move. The hairs on the back of her neck all stood up from this tension. "Okay, on the count of three," she negotiated. Marlon had smiled in the midst of this riot. “Felis, you don't need to follow Markus's words. Furla is not your mother.” Markus was silent for a moment. Anxiety gripped him suddenly. How could he not know about this? "I don't want to hear any more lies!" Felis couldn't take it anymore. She couldn't think when she was hungry. "I am not lying." Marlon repeated. “Garg is not your father, he picked you up under Alfrore's feet. The first day when Alfrore was no longer an ordinary pine tree. The same day when Candramawa's pupils changed color, like you." “Marlon stop bragging! I'm saving your life." rebuked Markus. Marlon spat. "I don't need you to defend me, Markus. I have seen your destiny. As bad as me." Marlon sighed and then he continued his sentence, “That time was full of red mist. Twenty years ago. Brother, you worked hard to kill the Reeda people. But you missed one.” Felis didn't know how to deal with the new reality she heard. Aisiklanya fell to the floor. Markus took a good chance. He thrust his sword at the girl. However, Marlon stood up swiftly, so that the aisikla penetrated his neck first, then scratched Felis' solar plexus. Another blade stabbed from behind into the left chest Mrs. Furla. Marlon fell to the floor. “Oh, I'm sorry, Uncle!” Felis immediately remembered Candramawa. When he was dying, Marlon was still looking for Felis. He held the girl's hand, "The full moon is coming soon Felis, find Candramawa. She will lead you to the Quartz Bells. Only you—” Then Marlon breathed his last. Markus pulled his sword from Mrs. Furla, jumped and left from there. Felis realized too late. And the death of the two people in front of her happened so fast.
