After struggling to crawl and crawling on her own blood, Candramawa followed the footprints of the two women who had left her earlier. The girl managed to find a fishing boat tucked in between the coastal rocks. The path she chooses can bring her back to the city of Este more quickly.
Outside the teak forest, Candramawa is counting her own steps. Her irritation when she saw the Weesa village still standing upright made her want to find Deluna and teach her a lesson. She couldn't wait to rip open the old woman's big mouth.
Felis' house is also visible. Candramawa calmed her own heartbeat, glanced several times at her wound which was starting to close. The only thing that made her feel like she was going to die earlier was just the feeling of tightness that occurred because Felis's aisikla pierced her right chest. Now she is feeling much better.
Now it's a matter of forgiving Felis, the last Reeda. Candramawa would not have the heart to teach her a lesson. Moreover, the future of the Lumons Coalition is in Felis' hands. Of course punishing Felis is not an ethical thing to do. Candramawa decides to make peace. The anger will slowly disappear. She couldn't wait to tell Felis about the whereabouts of the bell when—
Felis slowly bowed. Pulling out the light blue aisikla from the neck of her non-mother's husband-to-be husband. Felis couldn't describe how she felt right now. Within a day all the people closest to her were gone. Because of her. Because Felis was reckless and easily influenced.
Felix wiped the tears away. She sat on the floor with the two corpses. Candramawa, who had been frozen in front of the door, finally spoke, "Felis..." she called softly as she approached. Pity clouded Candramawa's eyes.
If the girl sitting lost in thought was Felis, it would be obvious that the female figure in front of her would be Mrs. Furla herself. And that man, Candramawa, stepped closer. She turned the man over, wiping the blood that covered his face with her trembling hands, she didn't want to believe what she was seeing.
"Like this..." Candramawa stuttered, she couldn't hold back the anger that shot faster than any aisikla to her head. “This is how you solve problems?” Candramawa felt that her eardrums had been closed for whatever reason Felis ended the life of Marlon—her father. She did hold back, but that didn't mean she would listen, it didn't mean she would forgive.
Only now did Candramawa know that she should have directed that pity to herself. All this time she had raised monsters, all this time she was just a fool who insisted on keeping a wolf, dreaming of being able to coexist without being eaten.
"I don't expect you to believe it," Felis said just as softly. They sat side by side, but neither of them glanced at the other. Their eyes straight ahead, two pairs of eyeballs moving irregularly.
"I want to believe it, Felis," Candramawa's voice trembled, her hands clenched into fists. In front of her, Marlon's body was on her back, head up, eyes tightly closed. "I want to believe." Then Candramawa woke up. She was about to leave before her shield fell, before a fight broke out between the two of them.
“Before you kill me, Candramawa. Are there any other lies you're covering up?” asked Felis.
Chandrawawa frowned. Can't stop thinking because at this kind of scene, Felis can still ask about her own interests.
"Yes." Candramawa answered lightly.
Felis stood up to face Candramawa. It seemed she had forgotten who was lying on the living room floor. Candramawa felt her chest getting tighter.
"Now be honest with me." Felis asked gently. But what reached Candramawa's ears was nothing more than the whining of a hapless girl.
“Garg said you will be the savior of the nation of Lumons. That's why he educated me—to protect you.” Candramawa approached Felis. So close that their breath brushed against each other's faces. “But my father can see the future. And now I understand why he wanted me to kill you earlier.” Candramawa stabbed an aisikla into Felis' right chest. The same place as Felis did before for Candramawa.
Candramawa was surprised because Felis didn't try to avoid it when the object penetrated her body. Felis even smiled.
“Garg and Furla are not my parents.” Felis muttered. "So I shouldn't feel lost. I'm not pathetic like you.
Thus the two girls looked at each other. Their bodies melted like wax, in the chest of both of them stuck a thick and sharp aisikla. Their blood was mixed, which was whose—it was hard to tell. The floor of the room was now as dark as night. Then the two girls closed their eyes.
***
It was morning when Laureen faced two piles of dirt in front of her. Unfortunately, she was too alone for this funeral.
"What exactly are we looking for?" the question sounded like a complaint. She took a gulp of the catnip extract. Accustomed to its aching taste, Laureen no longer winced as she swallowed it.
“I told you Marlon, we live in a circle that has no end. And you chose it, by the way.” Lauren was silent again. Glancing up at the mound where she had placed Mrs. Furla in it.
“It's not your fault because the people you love are always in danger. From the start you were a victim. Do you think I should be grateful that Marlon could never fall in love with me?” the question made Laureen return to memories of the past.
"Is this really helpful?" Laureen's question stopped Marlon in her tracks.
The man was already dressed and ready to go home. Marlon stood in the doorway. Turned a little, as if the method is firm enough. He didn't want to give Laureen too much hope.
"No," said the man. "It's best if this doesn't happen again in the future." Then Marlon left Laureen who was still lying on her bed. Embarrassment made the woman pull the blanket over her chest. Marlon had obviously subjected her to a feelings experiment, but Laureen wasn't mad. Just feeling sad.
Since the death of his wife, Marlon spends more time looking after Candramawa. Hanging out with a Weesa guy named Garg. Study philosophy. Anything but learn to love Laureen.
It's no secret that Laureen is crazy about Marlon. He has already given up. Then the woman Reeda he married died in vain.
Now Laureen feels compelled to start over from scratch. Approach, she tried very hard to attract the heart of the man she adored. She accepted the chatty little Candramawa and took care of her patiently. Five minutes ago Laureen thought she had the man she loves, now she has none. Apart from a broken heart.
Today was the second time, and that woman—Mrs. Furla also died.
At least Laureen knows that Candramawa is still alive. But Felis…Laureen let her face wet with tears, even though her cheeks were starting to itch because the wind that was blowing dried them quickly.
"No, you should have brought me too," she said again. Then she stared again. "No, if you take me, what about Candramawa and Felis?" Then Laureen burst into tears. "I can't find Felis. Forgive me." Now Laureen turned, looking guiltily at Garg's grave.
Last night after buying stock of katnip extract, Laureen staggered through Weesa village. When the woman passed, the front door of the Garg house was still wide open.
A strange feeling feeds her curiosity, so Laureen decides to stop by. What Laureen found there made her slender body stretched and stuck in the bar of the house's door. Too much blood on the floor. And the hangover instantly disappeared somewhere.
Marlon, Mrs. Furla, and Candramawa were there! Laureen rushed over and immediately checked their breaths one by one.
The first, of course, is still alive. Immediately Laureen jumped onto a nearby teak branch, carrying Candramawa in her arms. She entrusted the girl to Alfrore. Letting the old tree branches cover the girl's body. Finally, before returning home, Laureen pulled the aisikla from Candramawa's body.
Laureen immediately knew who had done that—but at least there was hope that Felis was still alive, maybe she felt guilty, so the girl was now scared and running away.
Yes, surely the kid didn't do it on purpose. If it was intentional Candramawa would have lost its shape. Felis will eat it. Laureen had time to persuade her own prejudices.
She gathered her thoughts again, back to the unfinished business ahead. If it was Felis who did it, after realizing that Candramawa would explain it to Laureen. And explanations can wait.
Second, Marlon and Mrs. Furla. It just occurred to Laureen to look for the family's car keys. After finding them hanging in the cupboard, Laureen shoved the male and female bodies into the car. Switch on Garg's old machine and quickly get out of there. Before other Coalition members came or the villagers realized and caught what she was doing.
