Chapter 32 The end
Arlene POV
The battle between the Guardians and the dreaded destroyer of the world is over.
Erioesnemia is still shrouded in darkness. The moon that serves as a light in the darkness is now covered with fog.
"Forgive us… Ry…" Zach said to his brother. He turned to her son. "Celine, daughter..."
I can’t believe this event. I can't imagine that Zachary's had a more depth and a serious reason for treason.
"T-The truth…" the Queen took a deep breath before speaking. She cried. "You G-Guardians, it's true about you. 'Don't worry. It's true… it's true… In Wisteria, there are always Guardians… Celine…"
The queen was no longer able to continue speaking. She just cried and knelt on the ground. I watched Celine, I couldn’t read the reaction on her face.
"It's not really convincing..." Zachary's said. He was just lying down with closed eyes. "The prophecy is not true… No one knows what will happen in the future. They lied to hide what really happened to me. Hated, why? When my father knew I was born with power, he also knew…"
The movement of his chest slowed down, he's having difficulty in breathing.
"Zach, brother… and Celina…I love you," the last words of Zachary.
I was devastated when we realized he is now dead. June and Gray came over to confirm that, they just gave us a sad reaction. The King could not stop crying.
"I inherited it from him…" Celine said calmly. "W-we both don't want to sit on the throne…" she bowed and sighed.
"Forgive me… because I have continued to manipulate history, and to write false prophecy." Said the King. "All I want is for him to stop what he's been planning since the first fight…"
A few moments later, a man on foot approached where we were. We realized that he was the captain. His eyes were fixed on the dead Zachary. "Ry," he said.
He shifted his gaze to the King and Queen. He only gave a disappointed reaction. "If you hadn't been a coward, Zach, it wouldn't have happened. You know the truth, but you still continue lying. I've told you multiple times but you haven't listened. You don't know what he's going through in the Prison of Erioe with the horrible fellows, and monsters, inside the cage without a single trace of light..."
Everyone was silent.

After some discussion the four of us decided—Larmine, Solenn, and Celine to immediately go to the heart of Wisteria.
We weren’t able to get in when we scattered because we couldn’t afford to fight the wolves.
If everything is sum up this is the result.
First we found out who's trying to invade the whole of Erioesnemia. So we Guardians have been assigned a second time to save the world.
The prophecy says everything but, the prophecy itself is not true. Zachary had known about that for a long time. That's why he tries to find the book written by his brother because that's where about us is written, in the second fight. It is clear to the awareness of the king, Zachary, and the captain, of the return of the time, and repeat of the battle.
It just hurts my head thinking of them.
Sh*t!
The real facts they hid about Zachary, because he thought he would bring greed to the whole world, which in turn came true because of their accusation.
The king went on to write what seemed to be a prophecy in a book, but all of that was not true.
How much anger and resentment does a person hide?
This incident is an example.
In the heart of Wisteria, the surroundings are inhabited by small creatures, all blue, even the lone tree in the middle of a vast blue lake. We heard the little squeaks of the flies that we could not figure out what they were.
"Finally, happy again!" they said.
"Let's go there."
"Guardians!"
"Goodbye, Guardians!"
It was as if they were playing while surrounding us. In a few moments they also left because we heard a voice.
"You succeeded." the voice of the fairy.
"What is the condition of what we did?" Celine asked. Miraculously I see no fear in his reaction now.
Larmine, although the way she speaks is still eloquent but a bit bitchy, I know that it has also been reduced. The dirt on her clothes? We haven't heard any complaints, which is surprising.
Celine is becoming more vocal to us. And me…
I bowed with respect. "We will do all your conditions, as you wish." Solenn looked at me in surprise.
"Why?"
"Wow! You know how to pay respect?! Don't you?!"
I didn't answer her and I just scratched the back of my ear. We just focused on the fairy's voice.
"You Guardians have accomplished your duty. To save the world."
We were startled as if glowing ashes were slowly forming figures.
"But it's not just the four of you who needed to see it."
There we noticed that they were our fellow Guardians. They also wonder why they are there. They ask us questions but we cannot answer them.
"Thank you very much Guardians. I just want to let you know that I no longer have the power in case you need me. I will just serve as a peaceful voice and here inside the Wisteria. Inside Gray's necklace, is the half of myself, the last you can use to restore Erioesnemia. That is the last power I can give you." we all exchanges glances at what the fairy said. "At the end of my existence as powerful, I grant that they Arlene, Larmine, Celine, and Solenn, will be the guardians of the whole Wisteria. The twelve Guardians are the guardians of the whole Erioesnemia. You can pass your power onto those I will appoint new Guardians when the time is right. "
"I'll give you some important information on how to appoint a Guardian. In front of you is the blue Wisteria tree in the middle of the lake. It's not just a chance that you landed on Earth…"
Gradually it seemed as if there was life that the water in the lake moved. It seemed to be dancing floating in the air. We realize that with every word the fairy says it forms a scene.
“The selected creatures on the surface of the Earth terrain is what Wisteria takes. At birth they will naturally have a mark on their bodies."
We were the only four women who didn't have that, I just noticed. It was as if they had tattoos carved very perfectly.
"Some of the chosen ones die early, others are by accident, or are perhaps brought on by old age. The Wisteria tree just brings them back from childhood for trainings."
"In that case, we are morelikely to be… souls…" Larmine couldn't believe her statement. "Gosh,"
"With each day to come, hopefully you won't lose your energy for Erioesnemia." An old woman approached all of us who surprised us. She was the old woman who gave us the power of time, and the one we were with here before. "Just make sure you don't get out of any of the information that's here." she smiled.
"How did you get in here? You didn't get lost?" Zillan asked disrespectfully. "People who don't get in here always get lost, you know that?"
"Maybe he has permission, too," Kairo said.
"That's not what she really looks like." June's poor opinion.
The old woman smiled before changing form. It is one of the creatures that can only be seen here in the middle of Wisteria. I found out because it was also blue. She doesn’t look normal, but I can tell she’s beautiful. She wasn't old and just pretended.
Hunter and Jake were applauded in amazement. "Woahh,"
"You're beautiful," Ren smiled.
"What, are you flirting again?" Roland's said.
"You're serious, judgmental. I'm just praising you." Ren's defense.
"Oh…" Gray groaned. "I don't know about Roland, Ren." Gray laughed innocently.
"Gray, take a break now." said Womi .
Kris and Gio just shook heads with them.
We didn't stay there long. As the fairy said Gray’s necklace will serve as a way to restore the beauty of Erioesnemia. Gray placed his necklace in the sky, we were even amazed by the seeming light with the figure of a unicorn and with wings.
Gradually life returned to the environment, the whole thing shone again. Trees, plants, and so on have returned to their former vitality. For sure, the world has been healed from its horrible disease.
Sadly, we grieve over the lives of other creatures that cannot be restored.

Months later joy poured in when Celine was appointed Queen. But I was not able to attend because I had a case that's torturing the whole team.
D*mn!
The master mind escaped the kidnapping of five youths.
Sh*t!
"F*ck! I didn't even attend my friend's invitation?!" annoyed, I drank the remaining wine from the bottle I was carrying. It's just small.
"Hey! No drinking here! What if you're drunk?" an elderly policeman answered me. "Where are you attending?"
"Coronation." I simply answered.
He frowned, "Coronation? Pageant? D*amn, you, Arlene. Get well soon!"
He walkout. I was just about to sit down when suddenly someone called my name again.
"Miss Arlene, someone is looking for you!"
"Miss? H*ll. Who is that?" I left the office.
I came across my comrade Sebastian. Dude is what I call him. “It’s noon you’re still on a bad mood. Don't worry, miss—I mean, Dude. We will catch those who escaped. Don't worry."
"Where is the one looking for me?" I started walking so he followed as well.
"Ahhh, youuu, ignore what I said. That's where we're a hot -headed lady." he pointed a man sitting. "There, he looks like a celebrity. He isn't your boyfriend, Dude, is he? Someone is interested in you? Miracle!"
I just scolded him. "Shut up you moron,"
I approached Womin's direction. "Oh? You here? How's that coronation?"
"I'm picking you up because you haven't attended the ceremony, you haven't eaten yet," he said. "Larmine and Solenn are there. You're the one that I want, so come with me,"
"I'm still busy--"
"Come on. I'll help you find that criminal, it's easy." he turned to a fellow policeman--chief! "Sir, thank you. Got to go!"
I looked at chief. "Hey wait! Chief!"
"All right, Miss Arlene." Chief grinned foolishly. "You're a girl now, hahaha!"
Unusually, it was already infected with pre. Miss?! D*mn, really!
I did nothing when Womin pulled me out of the station. He intertwined our hands before turning around to me and smiled.
I smiled back.Download Novelah App
