A day to celebrate, on which your age will be increased.
She read her father's message to her early in the morning, "Solstice, you're getting older, so enjoy your life while you're young." He was the one who greeted her first.
She smiled when she saw that she was being greeted. There was just one person she was expecting to wish her a happy birthday throughout the day.
She sighed and pushed herself out of bed, looking in the mirror. She spun in front of the mirror, still looking at herself, and she heard a door open from the other room. She dashed to the door and flung it open.
She saw the tall, well-shaped, and handsome man as soon as she opened the door. Of course, it was Luan. After he emerged from his room, he was dressed in formal attire and was adjusting the end of his sleeves.
“Darling good morning! Helloo~” she greeted him, smiling at him.
She realized he was dressed up, and a question arose in her mind: 'My party is later in the evening, where is he going?'
“Where are you going darling? “ she asked as she approached him, looking at him from head to toe.
"I'll be attending a party of one of my business partners and I'll be back this evening," he explained as he loosened his neck tie a little. "I'll bring you food here later so don't cook dinner," he added.
'He had forgotten about it. Why are you going to someone's party, Luan? Today is my birthday. 'she thought as she lowered her head.
"B-but," she said as tears welled up in her eyes, "I invited you to my birthday party later."
"Oh, yeah, I completely forgot about that." He left her after saying, "I'll try to make it." Hearing that he would try to make it to her party made her smile a little.
She softly massaged her chest, near her heart, and took a deep breath, attempting to ease the pain she was feeling. She was trying to think positively and to think the things that might happen on her birthday.She must not be depressed on her own birthday.
She returned to her room and took her phone from the nightstand beside her bed. She unlocked her phone and looked through her contact list for Luan's name. She sent him a text message.
Sol: Darlingg! Please do remember my party later, okay?
Seen...
Sol: It's 6 o'clock in the evening
Sol: In the backyard of baba's house.
She smiled, waiting for his response. He only seen her messages.
She went through her messages to him on her phone and scrolled through them.

Sol: Darling, can I go to work with you?
Sol: Ohh you're not here anymore.
Sol: Have you eaten breakfast? I can bring breakfast for you.

He didn't respond all of her text messages. It was painful for her, but she continued in trying to communicate with him for as long as she could. Even though she was growing tired of everything, she refused to give up. She loves him now, and she'll do everything she can to make him love her as well, even if it's difficult or impossible.
Someone in a group chat messages her while she was scrolling through her messages.

Solstice chuckled, knowing that Carl and Lyra were about to argue and would have a long discussion in the group chat. She placed her phone down on the nightstand after turning off the group chat notification.
She was happy because, despite the fact that Luan made her unhappy at times due to their complicated relationship, she still had her friends to cheer her up.

It was already lunchtime, and Solstice was at baba's house, getting ready for her birthday celebration later. She was currently scrolling through her Facebook account while eating her lunch.
She had noticed a post about the spreading rumors about Claire and Luan, and it had caught her attention. Solstice looked into the topic further and found the paparazzi's post.
When she discovered Luan having a pleasant chat with the other girl, her heart crushed. Solstice is also familiar with this young lady because to her fame. She had a feeling that if Luan was going to marry someone, it would be someone like Claire.
Luckily, she was alone in her room, eating, and no one could see her crying. While staring at the screen of her phone, tears were streaming down her cheeks. She took long breaths, inhaling and exhaling deeply in an attempt to calm herself down.
She wiped her tears away and forced a smile. "Maybe it's just a rumor, it's nothing. I'll go ask Luan later," she said as her chest tightened and she felt uneasy about the ache she was feeling.
"It appears that he enjoys talking with her and us,we don't even talk for more than 3-5 minutes, so maybe she's his girlfriend," she said to herself. Everything she was saying was causing her a sharp pain. She felt as if she was being stabbed in the heart several times.
"I guess I'll have to stop now. He's already in love with someone. I don't want to ruin their relationship."
