Chapter 94 Epilogue - Sweet Ending

Two years later.
Author's POV
The bright morning sun permeated through the velvety curtain in the room and dwelled on Kiara's radiant and beautiful face. On her face, there was a pure smile prevailing on it as she stirred and rolled into a broad chest, opening her eyes to meet the face of her extraordinary, charming husband.
His eyelashes were long and curly, his steady and gentle breath fanned against Kiara's face, who couldn't help but admire his cute face even while sleeping. She braced herself to a sitting position, and that was when she realized that she was completely naked.
She extended her arm and covered herself with the quilt while her mind slowly drifted off to the memories of their enormous make-out last night. Thinking of this, a wide smile ensued on her lips as she positioned her both hands against her big round belly.
She took her gaze back to her husband's face again and then shook her head with a light chuckle as she thought inside her heart, even at how heavy she had become, her sex-addict husband still managed to have his way through.
Inadvertently, she raised her head, and her gaze stopped at their large wedding portrait in the room. Next, beside the picture frame, was another lengthy frame of both she and her husband and Amelia and her husband too.
They both got married on the same day. It was absolutely the best day of her life thus far; getting married to the only man she had fallen in love with since the first day of their meeting. Not only that, this man had blessed her with undying love, devotion, and adoration. In her opinion, she couldn't ask for more from her creator.
“Hey, there. It's morning already, get up now!”
Hearing this presumptuous voice that belong to no other person except her twin sister from outside, Kiara giggled and crawled out of the bed and then grabbed her red lingerie that was lying carelessly on the floor.
While wearing it, she sauntered out of the room to the foyer and saw her twin sister also standing on the balcony of their flat. Her big belly bulged under her red night dress and her blonde hair was tied in a messy bun.
There was just a tiny gap between them since their apartment was right next to each other.
“I think it's time you learn how to use simple courtesy, Amelia. You're becoming a mother soon,” Kiara teased, her hands holding the rail of the corridor.
Yeah.
Amelia survived the gunshot wound. Luckily, she was shot in the back. She regained consciousness three weeks later, and the culprit has been put behind bars with no hope of return.
Sneering relentlessly, “Alexander isn't awake yet, right?” Amelia poked fun at Kiara, whose cheek flushed deeply down to her neck in an instant.
“Just shut up and tell me if Desmond is awake too,” Kiara slammed back playfully, in an attempt to conceal her embarrassed state.
“Of course, my husband and I have been awake since dawn and I bet we were the first people to call and wish Granny happy birthday,”
After Amelia said that, Kiara's eyes widened in surprise, “Oh my goodness, how could I…” without finishing her statement, she rushed back to the room, causing Amelia to laugh out loud.
Kiara met her husband awake and was speaking into the phone he was holding up to his ear, “Yes, Granny, we'll be there soon”
Without a moment's hesitation, Kiara snatched the phone from her husband, “Happy Birthday to the best Granny in the whole wide world!” she shouted in elation and Granny's chuckle met her ear.
“Thanks, sweetheart. Your husband said you guys will be here soon,”
“Of course, Granny…”
The sound of the door opening all of a sudden broke off her sentences, revealing her cute and handsome son, clad in a burgundy tuxedo and a pair of black oxford shoes, matching his super-dense black hair.
He looks seven when he was only four years old. He grew every single day and became a big boy.
“Mom, Dad, I'm ready.” he notified with a beam, walking wholly into the room.
Both Kiara and Alexander exchanged a glance and soon took their eyes back to their son's figure again.
“Aiden, it's just 9 am, and you're set for the party? Tell me, when did you wake up?” Alexander questioned inquisitively, rising to his feet and leaving the bed.
By this time, Kiara had hung up the call after a few more words to Granny.
“You both should get ready soon, I'll be waiting for you downstairs while I munch a toast,” that was all he could say, and then turned away immediately.
As soon as Aiden was out of sight, both Kiara and Alexander burst into a burst of brief epidemic laughter.
“Aiden sure loves parties so much. He takes after you,” Kiara teases and made to walk away, but her wrist was soon caught by Alexander's hand. He gently drew and pinned her onto his broad chest, staring intensely at his priceless treasure.
When his lips approached hers little by little, she quickly covered his mouth with her hand and said with a broad wink, “We have to get ready soon, dear husband”
Alexander licked her palm and she immediately felt itchy and took her hand away, “How about my good morning kiss then?”
Kiara could see the fire and deep bottomless water in his eyes, it was dearly passionate but in forced restraint.
She hugged his neck spontaneously, lifted her chin, and gently kissed his lips. Just as she was about to pull away from his lips, she was pressed by him on her head, forcing her to open her lips to the maxim to accommodate his complete engulfment.
Such a deep and savage kiss lasted for ten minutes. While Kiara was still catching her breath, Alexander bent a little and kissed her big stomach, “I can't wait to have you in my world, baby,” he mumbled to his unborn child. Kiara smiled and shove her fingers into his silky smooth hair.
Two hours later.
These two couples were found in Granny's mansion. Alexander held his son as they both ambled into the house, while Kiara stayed back to speak with her mom in Arizona.
“Yes, mommy, you must be here before this month runs out. Remember, next month is my due month,” Kiara spoke to her mom over the phone while watching the rest of the family stroll into the house.
“Of course, Kiara. I would love to watch you give birth to your second child,” her foster mom expressed, and her heart gladdened instantly.
“Thanks, mommy. I'll call you later, you need to wish Granny as well,”
“Okay, dear. I might call her now myself. Bye,”
After the call had disconnected, Kiara watch Amelia's sisters which were now like her sisters too now.
Callie got down with Henry Torres in a sleek and tiny Rolls-Royce at the same time with Claire and Mack in a different eye-catching car.
The ladies were dressed in a matching mint green satin strapless gown. The makeup on their faces was just light but unique and their hair was done in a curly wave.
While the men were clad in expensive black tuxedos and oxford shoes, which only spelled wealthy.
Hand in hand, they all moved toward Kiara, and they soon spotted her and a big smile arise on their faces.
“Aww… It's good to see you again, Kiara,” Callie let go of her boyfriend's arm and went to share a brief hug with her.
“Me too. You look good as always,” It was Clare's turn.
“Thanks, cuties. You both should get married on the same day too,” Kiara told them with a gleam flashing across her face.
“Yeah, we will, just bring this big thing out of your tummy already,” Henry joked, earning a playful smack from Kiara, and they all laughed shortly.
Yeah. After realizing that Henry had nothing to do with Amelia's abduction, Alexander went to him and apologized, and ever since then, they've become best of friends.
“Come on, let's go in now. Do you want me to carry you, Kiara?” Mack teased, and he didn't miss Kiara's slap on his back.
“Whoa, here comes another angel of my life,” Miss. Marian said with pure adoration, walking over to meet Kiara, whose smile had remained undiminished upon spotting her mother.
“Mother,” she called out as they both entangled in a short but passionate hug.
“Oh, no. Let's have another hug” Amelia said with a pout as she quickly joined them, and they all shared a family hug with wide laughter.
They soon forgive their mother after listening to her sad story, which prompted her to have abandoned her children.
They forgave her, thinking that if she had aborted them instead, what would have become their fate then?
After the long hug, “Where is Uncle Sam, mother? I haven't seen him around,” asked Amelia.
“Here I am, Mrs.” Uncle Sam announced behind them, and they all turned to look at him with a beam.
Moments later.
Everyone was having lunch at the lengthy dining table, from each of their expression, you could tell everyone was happy.
However, Granny's soft sob altered the merry atmosphere as everyone turned their attention toward her.
“What's wrong, Granny?” everyone at the table, including Amelia's foster parents, asked simultaneously.
Alexander quickly got to his feet in apprehension, “What's it, Granny? Tell me,”
Granny giggled between sobs, “Please sit down, Alexander. They are just tears of joy,”
“Oh…”
Hearing Granny's words, a sense of relief filled the air again.
“I'm blessed to have you all in my life. You all are wonderful and to be honest, I feel like I can die in peace now,”
“God forbid, Granny. You're not dying yet,” Amelia quickly rejected it.
Granny retorted with a smile, “But I've clocked eighty years old today,”
“Yes, Granny. And you shall clock ninety years old” Kiara put in.
“Yes, mommy. Granny will clock a hundred years old,” Aiden also added, and loud laughter erupted in the place.
