Terms And Conditions

Chapter 70: Terms and Condition
Fera’s POV
She was looking at his text message, it said ‘Our flight will be today eight pm, will you be there?’
She didn’t reply whether she’d be there or not. He called but she only watched it ring and didn’t pick up. She looked out of her window, she was in her pajamas still even though it was noon.
When she promised ‘all yours,’ she meant it. Still, it didn’t mean that she’d be active. She was all his by heart and by soul not by her, the whole she.
“The word us has ended when Fera Luzares has fallen.”
She knew that no one, not even herself could love her.
She opened her laptop and she saw an email too. It was from Lora and quoted, Nick, wants you to read this.’ She didn’t open the letter and proceeded on checking the data. She checked the company's situation. Two of her stakeholders pulled their shares.
Didn’t want to get involved in any issue.
“Good to see you, Lora.” She greeted before Lora could address her. She was visibly surprised to hear her greet her first.
“I usually don’t take no for an answer.”
“Pleasure is all mine, Miss.” She felt her aura change a little and it was strange.
“Have you arranged my schedule?” She asked while busy typing something on her laptop. She walked toward her to take a look at what she was doing. “Did I ask you to come over?”
She froze and looked down. “No, Miss. I have arranged your schedule. Your meetings will start tomorrow. I bet you deserve to rest for now.”
“I deserve everything I want, fill my vacancy today ‘till Ten in the evening.” She said and saw a lot of mild problems regarding the transactions of supply.
“Uhm, are you sure, Miss? Nick’s flight will be at eight today.”
“Do I look joking to you? Mr. Constanscio had been messing with the products. He was trying to stop it from entering his town. I heard he wanted to meet me?” Lora swallowed a huge lump in her throat and got her Ipad.
“Yes, I will arrange your meet meeting, do you approve of five?”
“Sure, fill my vacancy from Two to Ten,” she closed her laptop and stood up. “I’ll only need a cold shower, tell Baldo to be ready at one-thirty.”
She walked up to her room and find the bathtub unprepared. Nana Felly used to prepare it for her.
“No one dare to mess with my parents but they killed the most valuable piece of my game. I need to have a little clean-up today.” She removed all her clothes while preparing her water in the tub.
She turned the shower on and let the water run down to her body. She closed her eyes and planned everything single step how her demonic revenge would be. It may be Fred who did the most of her misery, she knew someone killed her nanny. Fred wouldn’t think of even tearing a paper she own.
“Who did that?”
The question is that she wouldn’t be sleeping until she hasn’t found solved that mystery.
After a cold shower, she lay in her tub and scrub all her emotions off. As if it was possible.
She didn’t take long and went out, she found her clothes were already prepared, her bag and everything she need.
“Does my handgun in here?”
“Will you be needing it?” She asked and Fera cringed her forehead like she was saying why not.
“Here, I have it.” She place the gun in her bag and walked out of her room. Lora was following behind her quietly. Lora opened the door for her in the back seat and Lora sat in the passenger seat.
“You will be meeting Mr. Constancio. He has a proposal on being a part of the corporation. He is willing to buy any percent available.” She said while they were driving to the restaurant they would be meeting.
“Do I have it in my bag?”
“Yes, I forwarded the email too.”
“Okay,”
“Speaking of email, have you checked the email from Nick?” She was unsure about bringing up the topic, she was only making sure that she had received it and noticed it.
“As long as it was emailed to me, I doubt that I would miss it.” She instead said instead of yes or no. Lora only nodded and didn’t open up a topic again until they reached the destination.
He was not yet there so she had the time to read the proposal and information about him. He was the eldest son of Constancio's. Rey Mark Constancio, twenty-nine and a professor for four years. A bachelor and aggressively searching for a partner. She made a face of the term Lora used, aggressively searching.
“I’m sorry, I’m late.” She looked up and saw a familiar face. He offer a hand for a handshake so she stood up and accepted it.
“I didn’t expect to see you now, just this morning I saw you in the newspaper now I am seeing you in person. You look more delicate this close.” He said and sat across her.
“Thank you.”
“My family was sincerely sending our condolences.” She nodded and opened the proposal he sent.
“Much appreciated, can we proceed now to work? I was away for a few months and work had piled up. I hope you understand.” She said and looked up at him. She was taken aback when he was eyeing her intently.
“I understand you, you are too young for this much pressure, why do you entrust the company to someone you could trust? Leave this to someone for a while and enjoy youth.” He stated professionally that she was secretly insulted.
She looked down and smiled a little, “To whom I could entrust everything?” And looked up to him, “You?”
He chuckled his surprise at her response.
“Probably not, anyways I don’t want you to feel uncomfortable by talking about personal issues.”
“I appreciate that, what can you offer for the company?”
“ Greater coverage, and connections. My business is about transporting, having the full coverage of the country, and could deliver even to the farthest town or place.”
“And what do you think the company needs to improve?” His smiles went wider as he heard her question.
“Supplies, we need to improve your sources.” He said and she nodded she was writing something he couldn’t see.
“And what you suggest?”
“That we plant raw material to increase your supply. I can offer hectares of land for that.” She nodded and she opened the proposal again.
“Interesting.” She said and looked up at him again. He was eyeing her charmingly and he knew that his stares weren’t affecting her.
“But I have read your terms and condition.” He blinked in surprise at the term she used ‘but’.
“Yes?”
“I am not allowed to accept a Hernandez in my company? Why do you think you have the control over that?” She asked and his smile fade.
“I knew you, Fera Luzares. I included that for a reason. Hernandez is a traitor, they would leave if everything gets worse. Just like now, before I know you were hanging out with him, where is he? At home packing his things for his flight to where? Did he tell you?” He was calm and her voice was trying to convince her.
“I get the point but why do you care about this? Sir, this is between me and him. And what should we talk about here was the connection you are offering between us. I don’t care about your personal hatred of anyone and you should meddle with my personal issue with someone. Are you getting the point?” Fera was numb from his enchanting incantation.
“I get it. Okay.” He gave in.
“Remove that and I’ll sign the contract.” She handed the proposal back and stood up. She looked at her watched and checked the time. Just perfect as she thought.
“Nice meeting you, sir. You can notify Lora if you have removed that part and we’ll arrange some time for that,” said she.
