Chapter Thirty-eight

Inside Phlegon's house, in the land of Syrtis, he's saying something, like a vesper, which is difficult to understand. Meanwhile, something gradually comes out of Lyra's ears. A dark smoke that flies in the air.
"Could you tell us where it came from or how you got it?" Phlegon inquired (to Lyra).
Lyra was going to say something when Felix suddenly interrupted. "Uncle, Lyra is an Incino girl, so she can't deny using dark magic like others, but that's still allowed in Antipatris, right uncle?"
"I've read in the book of Ley that Incinos who uses dark magic is just allowed in Syrtis, but not in the other parts of the kingdom, because they always fight with Cinos for no reason," Phlegon explained. "You may now stand up. I'm sure that your power has come back, and nobody can remove that again from you unless they have your consent."
Lyra slowly stood up and stretched her arms. She feels something different, as if everything has become light and even her heart isn't heavy anymore. At the same time, she remembered the reason she was there, and that's because she wanted to warn the people about the coming battle and needed to show evidence that she told the truth. Therefore, she said something like "abracadabra," and an imaginary mirror appeared in their sight. Indeed, Lyra's power had come back.
"Mirror, mirror in our sight, show us what the leader of the evil Incinololos planned to do," Lyra said to the imaginary mirror.
Something inside the mirror quickly swirled around, which seemed to make them dizzy. It showed them the land called "Satano de Tinago," going to the black palace where there's an Incinololo who's wearing a long, black robe that reaches the floor. He's sitting on the black-encrusted throne, and he's having a conversation with a familiar boy who wears bloody, red clothes.
It was difficult for Kesrick to live with the people who killed the members of his poor family. But what else could he do if it was fate's whim that had put him in that situation? Certainly, it's difficult to contradict the will of the wind. He needs to pretend that his loyalty is to the wickedness, although he can no longer prevent himself from taking revenge.
Even though his master gave him some time to rest, his mind would not stop thinking, particularly about Lyra. He witnessed her sneaking out of the black palace, which caused him to make a bad hunch. Therefore, he followed her secretly and found out that he wasn't wrong in his inference. Lyra went out from the hidden land of Incinololos to tell the Antipatrisians about the coming battle.
"Are you sure that it was my stubborn granddaughter who was spreading the news about the coming battle?" Garagogo inquired to Kesrick. He stood up from the black throne and walked towards him.
Two beautiful maids are following Garagogo; one is carrying a tray of ambrosia, while the other is carrying an antiquated fan for obvious purposes.
"Yes, master, I saw her with my own eyes." Kesrick replied. His eyes sparkled like a reddish fire, telling that he was telling the truth. He stood there straightly, waiting for what would be Garagogo's expression if he knew that his granddaughter seemed to destroy the invasion that he planned a long time before.
Garagogo suddenly stopped. "Jinx, stubborn girl!" He exclaimed, like a wild animal who had suddenly come out of the jungle. "What kind of girl would spill the beans about the attack that I'd planned a long time? I will surely eat her if she shows her face to me!" The whole place became cloudy as Garagogo blew a fuse.
Meanwhile, Kesrick didn't say anything. He didn't want to make Garagogo more angry, although he even chuckled silently at him when he was so stressed.
"We must attack now before it's too late. Those people must not get enough time to lock and load for the coming battle. Let's first gather our battlers and the demigods to get ready."
Garagogo is currently in haste, but Kesrick still stays with him wherever he goes. First, they visited Sandra, who was busy training her battlers. They appeared in the place where the demigod was training her battlers.
Seeing Garagogo was a bolt from the blue for Sandra, she lowered her head and asked, "Master, what are you doing here at this kind of time? Is there something important that you seem to be in haste to get at?"
"Sandra, prepare your battlers, because we will attack the Antipatrisians in the middle of their slumbers!" Garagogo ordered.
"What? Why would you change the schedule master?"
"We must not waste an opportunity to attack them, so that they can't prepare for it. So, prepare your battlers, and I'll just see you by the door towards the kingdom of Antipatris."
"No problem, master." Sandra's voice gradually disappeared as Garagogo and Kesrick disappeared.
Secondly, they appeared in the place where Langya was also training her army. Kesrick is infected by Garagogo haste, and he doesn't want to join him anymore, because he's just making him dizzy.
"Master, is there something I can help with?" Kesrick asked.
"Yes, please go to the area where Rufus trained his battlers, then inform them to be prepared, because we will attack once everyone is ready," Garagogo replied.
Kesrick knows where demigod Rufus trains his battlers, but his mind seems to be laughing because of the bad plan he wants to execute. While Garagogo was busy telling the demigods of wickedness and his disciples to be prepared because the schedule of their invasion had been changed, Kesrick didn't care about anything after all, and he didn't inform demigod Rufus about what Garagogo told him to do. He doesn't care if they attack the kingdom of Antipatris and lose a million lives. He had forgotten that the people who loved him lived there. He's busy planning how to take revenge on those people who oppressed him, but most of all, on the people who killed his grandparents and father. It never crossed his mind that doing wrong couldn't make things right.
Felix found out that Lyra was telling the truth about the coming battle. He's in haste to tell the demigods about this, but it's too late, because the Incinololos are coming out of the jungle of Kacatulam and have begun to sow darkness in the land of Syrtis, which is near to the jungle.
Ylarry, Lyra, Felix, and Phlegon used their strength to combat the Incinololos, who were initially few in number but grew in number as time passed.
"I'm so sorry brother, I didn't immediately believe in Lyra's warning. It's all my fault that we're stuck in this situation!" Felix apologized.
Ylarry replied, "Don't blame yourself, brother. It's not our mistake if the Incinololos rescheduled their attack on the kingdom!"
Only a second has passed, and sweat is pouring from their bodies, but the throng of Incinololos never dies, there's always one after the other. They don't know how to eradicate them all.
"Bro, we better go to Phrygia now!" Felix exclaimed. "The Incinos here will surely conspire with these Incinololos, and we also need to plan how to eradicate this battalion of Incinololos."
Hearing his brother, Ylarry, hold Lyra's hand, they suddenly disappeared, and so did their uncle Phlegon. They appeared in the palace of Xander and Lystra, which is in the land of Phrygia. They hastily went to the throne room of the palace. While walking, they met Xander and his wife, who were curious about their condition as blood and sweat were combining in their clothes.
"Oh Felix, what are you doing here?" Xander queried. "Why are you in haste and seem to have come from a fight?"
"Uncle Xander, you need to know this, because the Incinololos are getting out of the jungle of Kacatulam and began to spread darkness in the kingdom," Felix panted.
"What?" Lystra exclaimed. "Master Al Zhein needs to know this, so that he can stop this war. Perhaps those Incinololos are sent by the demigods of wickedness."
Ylarry stepped forward and said, "Uncle, I can fly quickly and tell my grandfather about this thing, but I'm asking you one thing. Please protect Lyra until I come back."
"Don't worry bro, Lyra's power has come back and she can protect herself from those Incinololos who want to hurt her," Felix replied.
Ylarry hesitated to leave, but Lyra said: "Your brother is right, I can protect myself for you. What you need to do is to report this to your grandfather, and please take care."
Ylarry found courage in Lyra's word; therefore, he uses his power to teleport from the palace of Phrygia towards Castillo de Saat. He hurriedly searched for his grandfather. While walking, he noticed Lydia, who was also going towards him. The woman is simpering at Ylarry, as if she's saying something lascivious. Ylarry didn't mind her, but as they were both near each other's body, they both stopped.
"Oh Ylarry, why are you in such haste? Is there something wrong that happened? Why do you look tired and your white robe is stained with blood? And where's your brother?" Lydia sounds worried.
Ylarry replied, "Lydia, I'm searching for my grandfather to tell him that there's a battle in Antipatris because the Incinololos are attacking the kingdom, and Cinos currently needs help."
"What?" Lydia exclaimed. "That's frightening. Your grandfather is in the hall of the castle, talking with your—" Lydia had not finished saying her words when Ylarry suddenly disappeared. She realized that Ylarry was really in haste because of the happenings in Antipatris. She didn't know what happened, as Ylarry didn't say where Felix was.
Lydia mumbled, "My beloved Felix, I'm hoping that there's nothing wrong with you, or else, I don't know what to do with this life."
Meanwhile, Ylarry suddenly appeared inside the hall of Castillo de Saat. He saw his parents, along with his grandfather. They seem to be having a conversation, and Ylarry doesn't want to bother them. But eventually, after some seconds, they noticed him.
"Oh my son! Where did you come from? Why are you panting? Why are your clothes full of blood?" Elyza queried.
"Mother, father, grandfather, the kingdom of Antipatris is attacked by Incinololos. They are too many, and Cinos currently needs help, or else they will all wither like leaves of a deciduous tree. My brother Felix and uncle Phlegon are in Phrygia right now," Ylarry replied.
The three simultaneously stood up with an inexplicable expression on their faces. They never expected this to happen.
"O tender-hearted Zadiv! Please don't let anything wrong happen!" Heshnok exclaimed.
"We must not waste our time here. Let's go down and help those innocent Antipatrisians from Incinololos who are attacking them," Al Zhein said.
Heshnok, Elyza, Al Zhein, and Ylarry suddenly disappeared from the hall of Castillo de Saat. Nothing was left there, except the maidservants and some guardsmen, including Lydia.
Ylarry and his parents, along with Al Zhein, appeared in the palace of Phrygia. Unfortunately, they saw nothing left but the demolished palace and a pile of dead Incinololos and Phrygians. Ylarry became curious about what he saw. It's incredible that an evil thing happened in just the blink of an eye. He began to search for Lyra, and tears came out of his eyes because of a bad hunch.
"O tender-hearted Zadiv! Who did this heinous act?" Heshnok asked.
"There's nothing left in this land. Come on son, let's check the mainland. Let us just hope that your brother and uncle are there, fine and breathing, or else I don't know what to do." Elyza's tears drip, and the dead people who received her tears come back to life.
"Son, come on! Your mother is right! I already checked the land and your brother isn't here. We must check the mainland!" Heshnok exclaimed.
"No father, mother, I'm not searching for my brother, but for my beloved Lyra." His tears pour like rain and he's not aware of it. As he continued searching, he was surprised by what he saw: his old friends, Thoreau and Hada, were both lying on the ground, holding each other's hands, and they breathed no more.
The three noticed how worried Ylarry was. They realized that he really loved the Incino girl whom they had forbidden him to meet. Even though they would ask Ylarry to come with them to the mainland, he won't stop searching for Lyra among the dead bodies of poor Antipatrisians. Therefore, Heshnok helped his son in searching for the Incino girl, but they didn't find her.
"Your beloved Lyra is not here! Perhaps she's with your uncles and brothers, so son, please don't waste our time searching for her!" Heshnok exclaimed. "Father, please ask my son to go to the mainland because he won't follow what I say to him."
Al Zhein went near Ylarry. He touches his shoulder and un-blinds his heart, which lost the hope of seeing Lyra. Ylarry stood up and seemed full of vitality. He emerged with them and appeared in the palace of Antipatris on the mainland.
