Chapter Thirty-nine

The Incinololos, who are attacking Antipatris are now going to the mainland after they have demolished the poor palace of Phrygia. Even though it was only Garagogo and the four demigods; Laquenta, Sandra, Graba, and Tarsus who attacked the land, because Rufus was unaware of the new schedule and Langya chose to avoid danger, those poor Cinos don't have enough warfare.
A loud sounds of Incinololos' footsteps, who are going to the mainland are scrambling over the crying road. Their number is incalculable, and they are furious at the Incinololos who stand in their way because they killed them mercilessly. Meanwhile, Kesrick is beside Garagogo; he's cool as a cucumber while marching with them.
"Kill all those people who block our way! Leave no one!" Garagogo exclaimed. "Whahahaha! Whahahahaha! Whahahahaha!"
Not long after, Garagogo noticed that there were two demigods who had not joined them. He was curious; therefore, he looked at Kesrick, who had been lulled since they left the black palace.
"Kesrick, I noticed that Rufus didn't join us. Can you tell me why?"
"I'm sorry master, but demigod Rufus told me that he would just catch up, and he didn't state any reason why. Perhaps he's not ready. But don't worry, because he will not miss the reign of darkness in the whole kingdom of Antipatris," Kesrick replied.
"Alas! Perhaps Rufus isn't ready to attack right now, especially now that I've rescheduled our attack. But how about Langya? I'm curious why she didnvt join us too."
"I also didn't know master. What I only know is that darkness can reign in Antipatris without their prior help."
"We have bad timing, but you have a point, Kesrick. We will succeed without them, especially now that you are here. I know that there's no way that Cinos can escape from you."
"Later, you can't escape from me either," Kesrick mumbled.
"Huh? Did you say something?" Garagogo asked.
"Nothing, I mean thanks for the compliment."
Kesrick avoids having eye-to-eye contact with Garagogo. He doesn't want him to have an inference that he's planning something wrong, which seems dangerous, but if he does it perfectly, for sure others will be deft of compliments.
Meanwhile, it never crossed Garagogo's mind that his trusted disciple was planning to take his life, which is filled with darkness. What he only thought about was how to get the throne of Antipatris, because in that way, they could get the whole kingdom.
In a black robe, is a woman who went towards them. "Master, it seems that there are many powerful Cinos on the mainland of Antipatris. We can't defeat them easily because their power has united to protect their palace," she reported.
"Sandra, you don't need to be so worried, because there are many ways to defeat those Cinos, as long as the demigods of goodness don't join the fight," Garagogo replied.
"You're right on the button, master, but what if those demigods of goodness went to the mainland to help the Cinos? Especially since the demigods of Phrygia had eluded us, for sure they had already told their master about this battle."
"Don't think about that for now. It would be better if we fought those demigods of goodness. The difficult fight results in a sweet success. So you must be prepared for this."
Sandra lowered her head and went back to her army to lead them. Meanwhile, Kesrick was just listening to their conversation. He could wait no more for the result of his plan. For sure, everyone will be surprised by what will happen once they arrive at the crowd of Cinos.
After a few moments, the Incinololos reached the mainland of Antipatris. Seeing the well-guarded place, they stopped to report it to their masters. The demigods easily understood the reason why their armies stopped; it's because there are many well-trained Cinos there.
On the one hand, Ylarry, Heshnok, Elyza, and AL Zhein appeared in the palace of the mainland. The Antipatrisians bowed their heads in respect to Al Zhein. The three immediately went inside the hall of the palace.
"Son! Thanks Zadiv, you are here!" Elyza exclaimed. She went towards Felix and hugged him tightly.
"Don't worry, mother, we're all fine even though the palace of Phrygia was already demolished by those evil Incinololos, and we've planned to band together to protect the palace of Antipatris whatever happens," Felix replied as he got out of his mother's arms.
"If there's sulkiness between us, we must put it aside for the time being, because every bit of assistance counts," Heshnok said.
At the same time, Ylarry is on cloud nine where he sees his beloved girl. It's proven that seeing the girl made him run from euphoria and crushed her, but everything didn't end like that. He carried the girl and turned around. Everyone who sees them wonders why a deity of goodness seems to be having a romantic relationship with an Incino girl, who was the reason why the competition was stopped. They began quarrelling, asking themselves why, until Master Al Zhein called their attention.
"For now, everyone should give Ylarry and Lyra a chance. What's most important is that everyone understands each other, because unity is the best policy," Al Zhein said.
Because of Al Zhein's words, the quarrel gradually disappeared. It seems that everyone considered master Al Zhein's words as law, because they remembered that once they were in a fog or something was unclear to them, it was Al Zhein who made them understand.
But there are such things which are difficult for them to understand, and that's why will they let Ylarry and Lyra continue their relationship if it's forbidden? It's written in the book of Ley that an Incino can only love his or her fellow Incino, which is the same with Cinos.
Now, they believe that everyone is always tempted by forbidden things, but it still depends on them if they bite the bait. Unfortunately, hearts are the most difficult subjects to teach, because once they begin to beat for someone, they will never stop.
Inside the hall of the palace of Antipatris on the mainland, the demigods of goodness and the rulers are sitting on the pews beside a long table. They were in a meeting about how to defeat the wickedness when someone, a battler of Antipatris, hurriedly entered the room.
The battler lowered his head, then he stood up straight and exclaimed, "Masters, the Incinololos are currently in front of the palace!"
"What? Are you sure that those Incinololos are now in front of the palace and they are challenging us to get out and face them?" Clemente asked.
"Yes sir! They were on their way to the palace, and the battlers were having difficulty stopping them. So you must go out before it's too late!"
"That's frightening, but we must not let them in, so what are we waiting for? Let's get out, face the danger, and dance with death in order to protect the throne of Antipatris!" Heshnok exclaimed.
Al Zhein, Heshnok, Felix, Lystra, Xander, Clemente, Gideon, Hamor, Ylarry, and Lyra put their right hands on the table, piling on top of each other. The hall abruptly became empty, except for the nervous wall that barely stands. With the help of Al Zhein's power, they suddenly appeared in the front yard of the palace. They also used their power to prevent the Incinololos from reaching the gate of the palace. That's how important the throne of Antipatris was to them, because once an Incinololo sat on it, he would be considered the highest ruler.
Meanwhile, Garagogo, Laquenta, Sandra, Graba, Tarsus, and Kesrick showed up in the front yard of the palace. They were not too surprised when they saw their path met with the path of the demigods of goodness. What surprised them was the reason Lyra is now on the other side.
Garagogo doesn't want to waste his time just staring at those demigods of goodness who are so contemptible for him. His dark power gradually appeared, and he was so eager to see them disappear in his sight. He was going to throw all his force at them when Laquenta stopped him.
"Wait, father!" Laquenta exclaimed. "I'm begging you, please don't hurt your granddaughter! Even just for my sake." Her emotions are completely mixed!
"Granddaughter?" Garagogo chuckled. "Who's my granddaughter? Do I have a granddaughter? Maybe before, I had an obedient granddaughter, but I don't have a stubborn one, and if she won't be my granddaughter anymore, it would be better if she lost in my sight with them!"
He was going to give all of his power to those demigods of goodness who were just waiting to see what would happen if Laquenta put herself in the position (between the demigods of goodness and wickedness) that enraged Garagogo. At first, Garagogo hesitated, because Laquenta was an apple of his eye, but as time ran, he made a decision. It crossed his mind that she's not the apple of his eye anymore!
"So you're not obeying your father's order anymore?" Garagogo exclaimed. "If that so, then join with your daughter because I don't have a disobedient family!"
For the third time, Garagogo was going to throw all his force as the identity of a dark, heavy cloud towards the demigods of goodness, including his daughter and granddaughter, but he stopped when he felt something wet pouring down to his toes. He's curious about why everyone's eyes widened while looking directly at his chest. As he gradually looked down on it, he felt something painful, and what he saw was a drastic bolt from the blue! It was something red, (priest without head!) a prolific blood, shedding out from his heart!
"I will never let you hurt the only girl I loved!" Kesrick exclaimed. "You deserve to die!" He pulled the sword across his body and pricked it again. "That's for my grandparents, and this is for everyone you've hurt!" He pricked him many times until he bit the dust.
Everyone, including Lyra, is surprised by what's happening. Even though she didn't care what happened to her grandfather because he also didn't care for her, she still remembered those good days with him. But she doesn't want to waste even a drop of tear for such a merciless man; instead of having bad blood with Kesrick, she must be thankful to him, because he made it for her, which made her realize how much he loves her. But as she exchanged her attention beside her, someone was holding her hands, and she knew that her heart was only for him.
At the same time, Ylarry's eyes sparkled with worries. He wasn't worried because Kesrick got Lyra's attention, but he was worried about Lyra's feelings. For the reason that he knew that it's never good to see a member of someone's family die, it couldn't be removed from him.
Ylarry looked at Lyra's face and whispered, "Don't worry, my love, because even if the whole world leaves you, I swear that I will never let you alone."
"Thank you so much," Lyra whispered back.
Everyone was so amazed and surprised when Al Zhein exclaimed, "Behold! The deserving one for the throne of Antipatris showed up voluntarily!" He's pointing it out to the boy who had the courage to kill their great rival.
All the Incinololos except Tarsus, Graba, Laquenta, and Sandra have bitten the dust because they don't have any strength to fight anymore as their master. Meanwhile, those Antipatrisians who had just been turned onto an Incinololo through the power of darkness came back to their normal thinking. The demigods of wickedness attempted to escape, but fortunately, the well-trained battlers easily caught them because they were exhausted from the long battle that ended up unsuccessful.
"Master, what shall we do with these demigods of wickedness? Should we kill them? What kind of punishment: bludgeon, guillotine, garrotte, or gallows?" Clemente asked.
"All!" The people's shouts made the demigods of wickedness nervous. They don't know if they can survive their punishments!
"No—don't kill them. Sending them into the prison is the best idea. They will be rotten there with the other prisoners," Al Zhein replied.
