Chapter Forty-one

"Greetings to you, King Kesrick," Chichari greeted.
Kesrick sat down on the few cushions beside her and asked, "Can you tell me directly what you're doing here, or what you want from me? I know that you won't come without anything to ask from me."
"Come on, Kesrick, just relax. Today is your day. Is not it sufficient that I just want to congratulate you on being at the pinnacle of all positions?" She pours something into the cups and gives one of them to Kesrick.
Kesrick got the cup and said, "Thank you for the compliment, but I didn't do all those things just for their crown and scepter." He removed his golden crown and put it above the table.
"This crown looks simple, but for sure, the simplicity of this crown doesn't rely on its appearance, but on what you can do once you wear it." Chichari gently touches the crown. "I'm so impressed with what you've done. I know that it takes you a long time to plan just for this."
"Not really, it was just a slight of thought, and what I really wanted to do was get revenge for my family's death, and now that everything is done, I have another thing to do. I know that you have yours too."
"You're right; what's the purpose of their beauty if I just cage myself inside my shack? I get it for my bad intentions towards the demigods of goodness, and now that you're the new king of Antipatris, I know that you can help me achieve what I wanted. Hahahaha!"
"Don't be so confident, Chichari, because I'm not helping people voluntarily. Blades beget blades. And if you plan to coerce me, then you will be disappointed. Right now, nobody can touch me in this world!"
"Someone suffers a painful fall as a result of being at the pinnacle. So, let's celebrate, let's get out of this zone and have a good day."
"That's a good plan. You better get into the ballroom first. I'll just call the attention of those noble people."
"See you there, Kesrick," Chichari said.
The woman used her power to teleport while Kesrick got his crown from the table and brought it with the scepter to the throne room. He put them there on the golden throne and told the maidservant to watch for them.
"Don't worry, your majesty, we will not let anything wrong happen with the treasures of Antipatris," the maidservant said.
"Good, just assign anyone to substitute if you want to attend the party in the ballroom of the palace," Kesrick replied. He picked up his new golden cloak and wore it while going somewhere.
After a few moments, there were many noble people who gradually went into the ballroom of the palace of Antipatris. They are all wearing fancy clothes. They look handsome and sexy, just like they don't have any problems and they just want to enjoy living their new lives.
At the same time, Kesrick also appeared there. He became upset by what he saw. There were many people inside, and they all had pairs, which made him envious of them. He remembered the sorrow in his life, although the people around him were dancing happily.
"Stop this party!" Kesrick exclaimed.
Everyone's attention automatically changed towards their new king. They were all curious about why she exclaimed like that. Did they do something wrong that made Kesrick mad? Certainly yes, they never considered his feelings, but they know that it's not their mistake if he's envious.
In scarlet clothes is the sexy woman who attracts every man's eyes. Not other than Laurel, who's also there in the ballroom. She enjoyed the party once for all. It can't be removed from her to seduce those men, even though they already have partners. But in that moment, it crossed her mind why Kesrick became mad at them.
Laurel didn't waste her chance. She walks towards Kesrick. Her lovely form, with high, rounded, firm breasts, a small waist, curving hips, and shapely legs, is chased by every man's eyes. Everyone went back to their own businesses when Laurel arrived at Kesrick's front.
"Come on, baby, don't be mad. Let's just dance," Laurel suggested. She placed her palms on Kesrick's shoulder, but her eyes never went away from his chest.
At the same time, Kesrick held Laurel's hips and pulled her body very close to him. He's used to stare at Laurel's breasts like he did before. He thought to touch it, but didn't have a chance, for he didn't want her to become indignant and she would also leave him alone.
"Do you want to touch it?" Laurel asked.
"Are you sure that it's just okay for you?" Kesrick replied.
"Yeah, but don't be so grim."
Kesrick had forgotten that there were many people around them. He slowly ran his hand over Laurel's back. It tickled the woman. In just a blink, he's so quick to reach her nape towards her breasts. He grabbed it, which made the woman jolt up. He slowly lowered his head and attempted to taste the thing.
"Nono-no, there are many people here," Laurel hesitated.
Kesrick also knows that he must not destroy his good reputation and the esteem of those people for him. That's why they wait for the dusk to come. Not too long after, the people gradually disappeared, and there are just a few left. Laurel grabbed Kesrick's collar, as if she were a vampire who was so thirsty for blood. She insisted on piling over him on the pew. It's already dark inside, and it's difficult to recognize what they are doing.
"O baby, let's make a baby," Laurel said. "Ahhh..."
Kesrick was seduced by the scarlet woman. He carried Laurel towards his bedroom. They entered there while kissing each other until they became naked. They wrapped and rubbed each other's bodies, making the bed warm. Kesrick feels the deliciousness while Laurel's playing his forbidden desire.
Morning came, and Kesrick woke up early. He found himself barely lying on his bed. It colored his mind about what happened last night. He didn't expect that Laurel would be so good at bed like that. But currently, he was curious about why she's not beside him anymore.
Soliloquized: "Perhaps she's not content with me and will find another man for breakfast, but don't worry baby, I will be more delicious than any other snack, so that you will be content and won't search for another."
Kesrick sprang out of his bed and got himself clothed. He looked unsatisfied with what they did last night. But he remembered that he wasn't the old Kesrick anymore. As King of Antipatris, he had a lot of work to do. So he immediately went out of his bedroom and continued walking towards the throne room when he met someone.
"O Rahab, it's still early. What are you doing here? Is there something you can report to me about the job I assigned to you?" Kesrick asked.
The battler lowered his head and said, "Greetings to you, your majesty. I found out that—" He hadn't finished saying his words.
"Wait!! Let's not talk here; the walls have big ears."
Kesrick led the battler named Rahab to an abandoned chamber where nobody could hear their conversation. It seemed that they would talk about personal things.
"Now tell me what you've found out," Kesrick said.
"Your majesty, they currently reside in the land of Phrygia with your cousin and another woman; it seems that they had good fences too."
"Rahab, you're really a trustworthy man. You didn't disappoint me. So I will give you denarii for my dues. But you must try to bridle your lips, especially if there are demigods of goodness who are listening."
"Don't be worried, your majesty. I can protect everything for money, but as we've dealt, you must pay me whatever happened, because my family needs it."
"Is that so?" Kesrick seemed to get something from his pocket, and when he opened his palm, the poor battler's eyes widened. He seemed to be frozen and breathing his last inside the abandoned chamber.
Kesrick immediately went out, as he didn't care about those useless people in his sight. He locked the door and pretended that nothing happened when someone appeared in front of him.
"O Kesrick, this spot smells like a corpse," she said.
"Chichari?" Kesrick asked, surprised. "What are you doing here? What do you need from me?"
"Don't be a chicken, you're a man now. Honestly, I only need one thing from you, and that's to help me get closer to those demigods, so your secret won't be exposed."
Kesrick is lulled for a while. He knew that Chichari was the most powerful haggish in Syrtis. He pondered his options.
"Why won't you just help me? Have you forgotten that I can ruin the results of all your sacrifices in just the blink of an eye? I'm just asking you one thing, so don't be selfish, because I'll not get everything from you."
"How can I make sure that you'll rest in peace after you've gotten what you want? Can you show me the future?"
"Look! I can't show you, but I can mark every word I say. We were once partners in crime. So tell me now, what things I didn't grant you?"
"Perhaps you did grant what you've said, but I know you more than anyone else. You're such a deceitful woman who's making a monkey of another."
"If you're really hard, I can do nothing but use this." Chichari attempted to use her dark power when Kesrick also used his bloody power against it.
"What?" Chichari exclaimed. "You have fire magic?"
"What are you talking about, huh? It's not fire magic. It's bloody magic, so if you don't want to shed your blood here, then go and never show your face to me again!"
Hearing Kesrick's serious words, Chichari suddenly disappeared without saying anything, and so did Kesrick, who went to the throne room. At the same time, he's curious about why they are calling his magic Fire. He also didn't know why they were scared of seeing his bloody magic.
As Kesrick sat down on the throne, another thing colored his mind. It was the word said by Garagogo when he got into Satano de Tinago. Until now, it still messes with his mind. He couldn't believe that he had the blood of a Lobo because there wasn't even a little evidence that he was an ultima. He's also not allergic to wolfsbane nor afraid of being surrounded by objects that are made from silver and iron.
He knew that there was only one solution to his problem, and that was to visit his mother, who lives near the jungle of Kacatulam. Therefore, he stood up and ordered his maidservants to be vigilant in watching the palace, because there was something important he needed to do.
Not long after, Kesrick arrived at their house. He immediately went to the door and knocked on it many times, but nobody was opening it. He wasn't patient as paper; so he used magic to open the wooden door of their old house. What's exposed to his front is more bloody. Blood is pouring down the floor from the ceiling and from the flesh of animals. Hearts, intestines, heads, kidneys, legs, arms, etcetera; Kesrick was surprised to see his mother hanging with the flesh of animals.
Spontaneously, tears spurt out from his eyes. He couldn't describe what he felt, and couldn't endure seeing his mother hanging on the ceiling with a whip attached to her neck. She's not breathing anymore.
"Mother! Why did you do this?" Kesrick screamed.
Kesrick asked many times, but nobody was answering him. All he heard was the continuous jangle of sorrow. His tears won't stop falling; he shut the door and tried to leave, but his feet would not carry him away. He opened the door again and what he perceived was evidence that he's a Lobo. Kesrick decided to bury his mother in the jungle of Kacatulam. He wanted her to be near his grandparents, who had passed away there. So, he immediately removed his mother from the ceiling and carried her into the forbidden jungle.
Bloody magic is what he used to make a pit in the middle of the jungle. The silence reigned all over there, except for the buzzing sounds made by the foliage of trees. Kesrick prevented himself from crying while burying his mother in the pit he made. The pit seems to be pulling him away from burying himself with his mother.
