Chapter 60 The Perfect Time

I chuckled at what he said, still, my senses were weakened, “Wow, what a pleasure. You're Taking many precautions. Scared I’ll get away again?”

He scoffed, “Stop pretending you're a strong dear. This will be your last in living.”

“No, you mean your last? We surrounded you now” I heard another voice chiming in. I didn’t have to see it as I instantly knew it was Magnus, carrying his own men. We have around 300 of us, but I couldn’t deny all the power we have. Quality always overpowers QuAntity. I could feel him approaching me and kissing my neck, “Did we arrive late?”

“Just at the perfect time,” I said. “This will be fun.”

Magnus then carried me and I felt him taking me to Dimitri. “Take care of her.”

I shook my head, forcing myself to stand up as I felt a bit dizzy. “No, I’ll fight too.”

“You’re weak now.” He argued. “Let Zefren heal you.”

I felt Zefren approaching me and muttering some words and I instantly recovered.

“Alpha Kamilah!” Someone called from the crowd and I saw my pack members standing behind Magnus.

“Louisa! Karleen! Almiro! I yelled as they were standing in front. They waved hi and I also spotted The Lycan King in the crowd.

Magnus, who was standing in front winked at me and gave a mocking look at Druscilla, “So, what now? Make your next move, Druscilla.”

Druscilla gritted his teeth. “So you chose death. Well, then, it’s good that I can kill you both now.”

I instantly ran and stood to Magnus's side, “Bring it on.”

“Kill them all!” Druscilla yelled and his men started to move.

Lycan King Ace instantly came in front, “I’ll take care of them, go and kill him, you two.” He said and Magnus pulled me to the side and we ran to Druscilla, who ran to get protection from his men.

“What a coward, Drusilla. I thought you wanted to kill us?” I mocked.

Some wolves tried to get in between us and slow us down.

“Hey, Kamilah.” I heard a high-pitched voice greeting me. Looking behind, I saw Stacy, Magnus's past fling, the she-wolf who bullied me back from his pack was here.

I kind of fort her existence ever since it was 150 years ago. Unimportant creatures tend to leave my mind.

I glanced at Magnus, “I thought you locked her last time?”

“She managed to get out and her family flea. I forgot to mention.”

She’s like a poisonous plant, appearing out of nowhere. “Years had passed and you never changed.” I commented.”

“You two,” she said, giving a glance at Magnus whose hands were on my waist.

“What’s your feeling now that this is your last day?” She asked.

I sighed, wasting time here. Dimitri came and yelled to us, “Just let us handle these low goons. Go to Druscilla!”

“Thanks, Dimitri!” I yelled after him then realized it. “Wait, weren't you looking after him earlier?”

Magnus smirked, “Yeah, well that’s part of the plan. I have to make you believe that so Druscilla will fall on our traps.”

I pouted, “You should have informed me.”

He shrugged, “Yes, I thought of that. But have you not know was better.”

I just let it slide. I looked at the battlefield and saw how our side was at the advantage and Druscilla noticed it too.

The werewolves who protected him instantly backed out, knowing it was Magnus that is after them.

Druscilla was the one left now and he gulped. Magnus instantly pinned him down. “Of course, you won't be dead instantly. You have to experience pain slowly and surely.” Magnus then harshly grabbed his limbs, making him yell in pain.

I grabbed his head. “It was fine while it lasted,” I said. Twisting his head felt so satisfying as the memory of all the hardships I have to endure because of him flashed back. I had always dreamed of doing this and having it now, it’s a bit overwhelming.

After that, Magnus lit up a fire with his match and threw it into his body.

“That is for killing my mother.” Magnus hissed.

“Let’s go, If I knew he was that easy to be killed then-“

I was stopped when I heard a yell from behind and Louisa’s body flying.

“Kamilah! To your left!”

I gasped in shock, seeing Louisa’s head unattached to her body.

Everything seemed to stop as I try to process it. Louisa…my beta is dead.

I howled and fury instantly covered me. I rampaged on the lowly wolf who killed her. Not even showing any mercy.
I couldn’t even hear Magnus’s words as I attacked each wolf I see, blinded with anger.

I saw Dimitri crying to Louisa’s body, and I closed my eyes, imagining the pain he would be feeling. The two never even got to have more time with each other, not even knowing if they were fated.

I cried for Louisa’s fate.

Damn it! If only I knew this would happen!

I felt all energy surging within me, and a bright light came out of my body, leaving me.

Feeling dizzy, I blacked out.
