Lucelle felt the dizziness of being teleported... even almost throwing up the insides of her stomach, but she controlled it knowing that she was now at the outskirt of a bustling town. She sighed as a relief. She was really thankful that she got a teleportation scroll from the children, though it was a random one. If not, maybe she might get surrounded and get caught seeing how numerous the Feronia Kingdom's cavalry were. Around her, there were many caravans, carriages and wandering warriors and magicians. There were also local citizens, beggars and some weird-looking people. A lot of noises could be heard and the atmosphere felt so suffocating. It was totally different than the village she was in. The town had an overwhelming, yet rough wall, maybe to protect the people, prevent invaders or to defend the town either from human's doing or beast tide. It also had a huge and eye-catching gate, while two fierce-looking men holding each spear were guarding the entrance. She wanted to know what kind of town she had teleported to, what its name and how far it was to the capital of Feronia Kingdom, but she realized she shouldn't. Asking a stranger only meant raising a suspicion toward herself, that maybe someone might recognize her. "Hey! Red-cloak girl!" She was looking around where that voice might coming from. "Hey, I'm calling you!" a man, wearing black-ans-white clothes and above his right shoulder was a hummingbird, appeared in front of her. "Am I the one you are calling?" Lucelle pointed her finger to herself as she asked him, she didn't believe someone took the initiative to talk to her first. "Yes, you. If not, who else is here wearing a red cloak?" responded by him along with a sarcasm. She looked around and seen no one wearing a red cloak aside from her. Knowing that it was her whom he was referring to, she ignored him and started to walk away. What a strange guy... She doesn't want to trust anyone anymore, just like how he trusted the disguised Village Chief but turned out she had been tricked and betrayed by him. Did Prince Armando manage to kill him? If so, I must be thankful for him... No! Why should be thankful when in fact the reason why he came along with his cavalry was just to arrest me! Then that man annoyingly appeared one again in front her while smiling, and then he uttered, "Wait... Please listen to me first..." How pestering! She stopped and asked him fiercely, "Why are you calling me, then? Do you need anything from me?" "Woah! Woah! Just calm down, okay?" he suddenly raised both of his hands as if surrendering, "I came here with no malice, but a good intention." Lucelle calmed her voice a little and asked, "Good intention? What is it?" "Just by looking at your appearance, you are new here right?" he asked her as he gazed her from head to toe. She just nodded. "And you are hiding your identity. Am I right?" he continued asking. Lucelle's face became darkened, "Too much knowledge can burst the veins and can burn the cells in your brain." "You mean...?" "Knowing too much can kill you," she simply answered. He laughed and then stopped, "I don't agree with that. Knowledge can uncover the hidden mysteries and can provide truth of this world. And besides, me asking that type of question doesn't really mean anything here. Or perhaps, you don't know what kind of place is this town?" Lucelle shook her head, "What is it?" "This town is called Freed Town, located at the border of the two kingdoms, the Feronia Kingdom and Merica Kingdom. It is a place for all kinds of people such as ordinary people, wanderers, justice and righteousness personalities, unruly, murderers, thieves, madmen, wanted people and so many more. Though there are town's rules to maintain balance between them and the Town Lord is very strict with that," he explained as he patted the head of his hummingbird who was busy chirping, "Also, this town is also famous for fighting at the arena whether it is for settling disputes/grudges or for learning and for getting stronger. You know, the best method for getting stronger is to challenge those who are stronger than you and this place is suitable for that, though, one needs to offer something in equal value to challenge someone and for that someone to accept one's challenge." Border of the two kingdoms? So it means I am already far away from the capital of Feronia Kingdom? Away from those bastards? Thanks, God! "So asking you if you are hiding your identity is normal," he continued, "Oh, by the way, I forgot to introduce myself. I am Travis Angelo Riego, you can call me Travis or Angelo for short," then he slightly bowed down and grabbed Lucelle's right hand and gently kissed it, "...at your service." Lucelle paused for a moment, seeing how Travis kissed her hand. He let go of her hand, "May I have the right to know your name?" _TRAVANGEL_
