Chapter 29

Seeing her portrait on the wanted poster that were accidentally dropped by the young girl on the floor, Lucelle clenched her hands into fists angerly.
Not only they annihilated my family, they also dared to put me into a wanted list! What's more, I can see from the walls my wanted posters, it's numerous that I can't even count with my fingers. Grrrrrr.... I will kill them! I will take revenge and burn them alive!
Travis who seemed notice her sudden change of expression and atmosphere, he asked her with a worried voice, "Is there something wrong?"
Lucelle controlled herself and shook her head, "I-it's nothing..." then she looked away from the wanted poster.
"Really?"
She just nodded.
Travis picked the wanted poster, "Isn't she too beautiful and innocent to be a wanted poster? Don't you think so, Celle?"
Lucelle did not reply to his questions, but instead, tried to change the topic, "You said that you will be my guide, so where shall we go next?"
He grinned. He really enjoyed to use his ability to please others, "Of course, to the place where my friends are."
Are they trustworthy, too? Can I really go along with them? Will it awkward to meet them for the first time?
Travis flicked his fingers to Lucelle's forehead, "Hey! What are you thinking about?"
"None of your business," she answered as she touched her forehead that had now became reddish, "And don't flick my forehead out of nowhere. We are not that close, you know."
He just chuckled, "We will be. And don't worry, I'm sure you will get along with my friends. They are not that unfriendly, you know."
"Whatever."
"Before going to the inn..." said by Travis as he picked a jasmine flowers, "Wear this first..."
"I don't want to..." she refused.
"And why?"
"Wearing a circle-shaped jasmine flower on my neck while I'm in red cloak doesn't suit me at all," Lucelle responded, "Maybe if someone see that, they will vomit..."
"So you hate that young girl?"
"Huh?" Lucelle was confused, "Not wearing the jasmine flower has nothing to do with that young girl. Besides, I did not hate her at all. Instead, she looks adorable, yet pitiful at the same time."
"If you finds that young girl pitiful, then you must wear her product."
Then Travis put the jasmine flower to Lucelle's neck by himself. Lucelle tried to stop him but to no avail.
"Besides, with and without your cloak... I know you are beautiful." Travis added.
"A-and how can you say that?"
Travis smiled, "From your sweet voice... your sexy figure..."
Lucelle slightly blushed, but did not speak to his flatterings.
They both arrived at the inn where Travis and his friends were staying. They were greeted by the inn's owner who was shocked about the woman in red cloak beside him.
Travis just said, "This is my new companion, Celle. And from now on, she will temporary staying here, " then gave a gold as a payment to the inn's owner.
The inn's owner smiled as she took the gold, "No worries. She can stay her as long she want."
"Thanks," Lucelle simply thanked the inn's owner.
" I will now gui---" the inn's owner was interrupted by Travis.
"Let me be the one guide her," he insisted, "Besides, I know you are already busy with your other works..."
"You got it right, Young Master Travis," the inn's owner exhaustingly responded, "Then, please guide her into a vacant room."
"I will."
The inn's owner bowed down, "Then I will excuse myself first," and she leave the two behind.
Shortly, Travis faced Lucelle, "Let's go?"
"I can't bear to owe you anything, so here's the replacement of the gold you gave to the owner and as thanks for helping me enter the town and guiding me to this inn," Lucelle said, showing an ingot of gold to Travis with this right hand.
Travis chuckled, then shook his head, "You don't to. Just treat my good deeds as gifts of our first encounter."
Then he mumbled that Lucelle did not hear, "Maybe that ingot of gold won't be enough for my friends... They are gluttonous!"
Still insisting to give the golds, Lucelle responded, "No, I have a need to give it to you..."
Travis sighed, "You really don't have to. Or... you can keep that ingot of gold for now..."
Confused, Lucelle asked, "...for now?"
"Don't mind it," Travis said, "Anyway, do you want to meet with my friends?"
Lucelle shook her head as she yawned, "Nah, maybe tomorrow. It's already dark and I'm also tired right now. I want to take rest."
Well, I'm speaking the truth though. I am really exhausted from fighting with Lord Dominus along with the goblins and also from dealing with Prince Armando with his men.
"Okay. If that's what you want," he shrugged, "Then I will guide you now to your own room upstairs."
