The Familiar Feeling

I
While watching the werewolves, Neoma felt a familiar feeling as she looked into the eyes of the biggest yellowish werewolf, which darkened at the onset and then became brownish all of a sudden as they looked into her.
The biggest yellowish werewolf, hurled so loud and King Timodore and Neoma thought already that the werewolves will be attacking them in a second. Neoma already thought of what to do with the werewolves once they move to attack them.
However, to their surprise, after the biggest yellowish werewolf growled so loud, he turned its back and its three werewolf companions followed. They ran so fast that both King Timodore and Neoma were surprised.
“King Father, they did not attack us,” Neoma said after she regained her senses. She did nothing yet to scare the werewolves.
King Timodore who suddenly furrowed after being surprised by the werewolves’ sudden actions, looked at Neoma and asked, “Did you do something Neoma to scare them away?” his tone was curious.
Neoma slowly shook her head. “Ironically, King Father, I have not done anything yet, although I was already ready what to do in case they move to attack us. I was surprised when they all ran away from us.”
“That’s surprising and uhhmm, questionable,” King Timodore said as his forehead knitted again.
“Or maybe, King Father, they felt that we are both powerful vampires and they might be going for their deaths if they would fight against us. What do you think, King Father?” Neoma said aloud what she thought but King Timodore was not solved about such an idea.
“I don’t think so. I could sense a deeper reason for their action Neoma,” King Timodore murmured but Neoma heard it.
“What are you thinking, King Father?”
“Neoma, to which pack they belong? Could it be that they are actually from the Ecleteon’s Kingdom?” King Timodore’s eyes were squinting.
“If they are Ecleteon werewolves, they should have attacked us immediately, King Father, because definitely, they will recognize you,” Neoma argued, although something is telling her deep inside that his King Father’s guess might be true.
“That’s the keyword, they recognized me, and probably that big yellowish Werewolf was their leader or Alpha King,” King Timodore’s words have meaning and Neoma’s face suddenly grew red.
“I don’t know what you are talking about, King Father,” she looked down to hide from him, her blushing. Just hearing the word Alpha King, her heartbeat already runs fast and this was also what she felt when she saw the biggest yellowish werewolf.
“My daughter, don’t be shy. Your mother mentioned that there was a man you met at the airport that you had a crush on. Then the same man appeared at the mall when you and Quacey were playing at the gaming zone. Tell me, Neoma is that man the Alpha King of the Ecleteon Kingdom?”
“King Father, I am not yet sure about it. Can we talk about this in some other time? I am not yet comfortable discussing it,” Neoma replied in a low voice and King Timodore smiled. He tapped her right shoulder and then nodded.
“Alright. No worries. I will wait for your confession, once you wanted to tell me already. Meantime, let us continue our journey, Neoma,” King Timodore said as he started to walk again. Seeing that his King father already walked ahead, Neoma ran fast and chased him, until she was walking beside him again.
II
They walked fast this time and good thing they have not met any other sort of enemies along the way. Well, it was because Neoma already used her mental abilities by letting them walk through the path like invisible men. Neoma was smiling as they reached the point or the pathway going to the main street.
“Neoma, we are here already. It is time for you to use your mental abilities to bring us back to the Glodeous palace,” King Timodore said as he looked at her daughter oblivious of the fact that Neoma did something while they were walking in the forest.
Neoma nodded smilingly and then she closed her eyes, focused her mind on something that she wanted to happen, and in a matter of seconds, a current of wind enveloped their bodies and carried them swiftly back to the Glodeous Palace.
They landed exactly inside the room of King Timodore and Queen Asalea, and the latter was there, reading something while lying on the bed.
“Oh, gosh!” Queen Asalea was astounded when her husband and her daughter suddenly appeared inside the room.
Both King Timodore and Neoma laughed out loud, upon seeing the expression of Queen Asalea.
“You two, where have you been?” Queen Asalea climbed down from the bed, stood up, and looked at her King husband and daughter with a raised eyebrow.
It was King Timodore who replied after giving his Queen wife a quick kiss on her pouting lips.
"We went to a hilltop, Sweetheart," he answered while looking at her wife smilingly.
"Really? Did you use the jet in going there? You should have told me, that I might have been able to join you. I am getting bored actually," she said, a little bit whining.
King Timodore and Neoma looked at each other and laughed again.
"And why are you laughing? Was there something funny with what I told you?" Queen Asalea arched her eyebrow while darting her husband and daughter with a questioning look.
"We did not use the palace jet, Queen Momma." Neoma replied to her mother, still laughing.
"Oh, so how did you go there? By land?" Queen Asalea asked while crossing her arms on her chest.
"Nope, Queen Mother. We went there by the wind," Neoma was trying to tease her Queen Mother but the latter seemed to be getting impatient.
"Neoma, stop joking. Tell me, how did you go to that hilltop? I know about that hilltop because your father brought me there already, in the past."
King Timodore cleared his throat before answering Queen Asalea. "My Queen, your daughter was able to use her mental power by teleporting us from here to that hilltop."
"Oh, gracious goodness, is that true Neoma?" with wide eyes and truly astonished, Queen Asalea held her daughter's shoulders and looked at her proudly.
Neoma nodded and smiled. "Yes, Queen Mother. I was able to do it. Where if not for King Father's encouragement and threats, I might not be able to do it. So, thanks to King Father, for that."
Both the spouses laughed out loud as they heard what their daughter have said. All of a sudden, however, King Timodore remembered something.
