I Princess Neoma was looking keenly into the man. He was familiar to her, and she was familiar with the feeling that suddenly overwhelmed her. Clearing her throat first, Princess Neoma asked after a while, “Do we know each other before?” The man chuckled and smiled at her in his most dashing smile and Neoma’s heart, felt like zooming out from her chest. “Maybe yes. I have seen you not only once or twice but many times. Although, you might have not noticed me, Princess Neoma. “Who are you then?” she asked furrowing. She could already remember where she saw him a long time ago. “I am your fate, Princess Neoma. You are my mate, the woman chosen by the Moon Goddess to be my Luna Queen,” the man murmured and Neoma was astonished. “Luna Queen?” “Yes, Luna Queen. You are the destined Luna Queen of my Kingdom.” “If you are talking about Luna Queen, does it mean you are an Alpha King? A werewolf?” a sudden fear crept through Neoma but her excitedly beating heart pacified her fears. “Yes, I am. I am an Alpha King but please do not shout it now. I know that most of you here are vampires and they might all attack me,” he said grinning at her and Princess Neoma, smiled. “Princess Neoma, will you come with me if I invite you out? Say for a dinner date?” the man who introduced himself as an Alpha King said that brought shiver in Neoma’s pulse. “Ahh, let me see if I will be not busy by that time,” she replied unable to look at the man directly. The man smiled dashingly again and pulled Neoma nearer to him while they were dancing. “What is that day and time then that you are not busy Princess Neoma? I will make myself available, whatever day and time, it would be,” he whispered near Princess Neoma’s ears and the latter felt a high voltage of current run through her veins. “I don’t know yet,” she answered not wanting to be so eager to have a dinner date with him. He chuckled and then whispered again. “If you are free tomorrow by six o’clock in the evening, I will be waiting for you in the Abbie’s restaurant in the city.” Princess Neoma looked at him and shook her head, “I am not sure.” “Still, I will be there. I will wait for you until seven in the evening, Princess Neoma,” he said sadly while looking at her with a sad expression. Princess Neoma suddenly felt his sadness too, that she said so suddenly, “I will try.” With that, the man who was said to be an Alpha King smiled widely. “At least you gave me hope, Princess Neoma. I will hold on to that hope that at the end of the day, you will decide to see me.” II The next day, Princess Neoma was restless since the day she woke up. Not only because she felt tired the whole night yesterday because of the birthday celebration, but because, the Alpha King just left last night without her noticing him that he was gone already. She did not know if he was serious about their dinner date tonight. While the afternoon was nearing, Princess Neoma became more restless. “Would I be coming to that restaurant to see him?” she thought for so many times. She cannot ask for her twin brother’s opinion because she is sure that he will insist to be her bodyguard and he will come along on her date, just like what he usually did with some of her suitors in the school. “No, I cannot allow, Quacey to come and be my chaperone. I am eighteen years old already and besides, that man is different. He said he is an Alpha King and not a vampire and absolutely, Quacey will object if I will date him,” Neoma thought again. She was still contemplating when Quacey suddenly showed up himself in front of her. This is what he does not like that Quacey can be invisible, sometimes, she did not know that he was already following her or is already beside her. She could not keep a thing a secret because Quacey use his power to find it out most of the time. “Quacey!” she shouted at him. “You are surprising me again. What if I will have a heart attack because of what you are always doing to me?” she added. Quacey just laughed out loud, teasingly. “Ey, I noticed that you have been restless the whole day. What’s up my pretty twin sister?” “Nothing, I am just still adjusting to my adult stage. Now go away from me. I feel being suffocated by your presence,” she said mocking at her twin brother but as usual, he just laughed out loud and then became invisible. Princess Neoma did not know if indeed he went away or if he was just standing nearby watching her. By five o’clock in the afternoon, Princess Neoma took a shower and wore a light purple dress, put on a blush-on and lipstick, and then finally, put in her dainty feet, a three heeled sandal shoes. Now, she looked like a real lady who is about to go on a date. Neoma got inside her car and drove out of their palace gate. A few meters away from the palace gate, a black car from nowhere, started to follow Princess Neoma's car.
