Chapter 69 Attack II

They looked at Mantis. Mantis shrugged, they wouldn't have all the fun for themselves. Orlswen walked back to his horse spot, not looking too good, still staring at Hornduras.
They were speechless to even remove their gaze on her, it was clear enough that they were strong, but someone had to break the silence, so Allen took the job.
"Wow! Well, if no one's going to say something ,here's it, she's amazing!" He exclaimed
As Hornduras faced them, their faces suddenly looked blank, Allen widened his mouth Hornduras was amused. Was it because of her?
"What?" Asked Hornduras, looking at their facial expressions which didn't look good.
Cassey held his sword firmly. Allen pointed to Hornduras to look back, and slowly she did. It wasn't good.
The soldiers were not alone! Four Treasure Glorified knights showed up, with heavy amours and equipment.
And beside them were hordes of soldiers! The dark lord's sorcerer showed up too. Terror in his deep dark eyes. They weren't expecting it. Not too soon.
"Hmm" smiled Hornduras, she had no problem with that, she was more than ready, although they might not be able to defeat the dark lord's sorcerer and his knight at this time, but they would definitely finish off a great wave. But she was powerful enough for them. Orlswen chuckled
"At Least there's enough blood to shed." What he had always wanted. All he knew was violence!
"You know what I want, hand it over." Requested the Dark Lord's sorcerer.
Cassey removed his hand on his sword, and looked at his companions, amused and slightly puzzled.
"No, we don't know what you want" answered Cassey, looking at the force in front of him. The knights drew their swords, but the Dark Lord's sorcerer halted them.
"I am not here for games. One more lie, and you will never exist. Hand over the Trident and the girl now"
It quickly hit Alby and Mantis! The Trident was lost! Cassey tried to explain, but he was short of words. However, Orlswen was burning to fight, so he stepped Forward, fuming like a beast.
The soldiers were ready, but the Knights just looked at him. For them, he was nothing, but Orlswen was filled with energy and vigour, he never will give up.
But Cassey after throwing looks at them, realized that they would lose, if they fought. So there was only one way out, the way which involved sacrificing himself for his friends.
The enemies held some captives, and they were recognized to be from Krinxville, which infuriated Orlswen more, there might be more of them, which indicated one thing, Krinxville had been attacked.
Cassey saw more reasons to back down.
"No my friend, we must not fight them now. We will lose"
"What? No way! I will fight till death, look, they have attacked our village!"
"Which is even more reason to back down. There will be more of these captives and they need us, but alive."
Orlswen shaked his head, and with force, he calmed down.
"We can't allow them to take us either" said Orlswen.
"Don't worry my friend. All will be well" Cassey concluded, stepping forward, while the enemies just moped at them, wondering what they were up to. Cassey's companion wondered what he was up to too. But they never guessed that he was about to...
"You can take me. I'm all yours" said Cassey, dropping his sword. He wanted to let his friends go, so he turned himself in. But to them this was dumb and stupid! Alby needed him. Castron And The Albions needed him, and he was the only hope to open the gateway.
"No! No way, Cassey, what are you doing??" Alby yelled at Cassey, but he comforted her, saying all will be well, but that was not enough. It only took the Dark Lord's sorcerer some bits of time to agree, he wasn't sure why he should take him in, but he felt the need to.
He raised his hand and two soldiers stepped out and went to bring in Cassey. They hit him on his knees so he knelt down by force. Albyon felt like the worst, but she couldn't do anything now, no one could, because it might get worse. Before he could say a word, they knocked him down unconscious with the head of a sword and carried him. Alllen felt bad seeing his best friend that way
"No! Cassey! Cassey! Cassey!"
But they took him, they were fast to journey, they went away leaving Cassey's friends alone. Hornduras understood him, but she worried too.
"Albyon, you understand that you can't just leave Cassey like that… not again" Hornduras said, giving Alby strength and will, she knew what this meant, she really needed him.
"Let's trace them" Said Alby.
