His questions

Theo mind can't count the numbers of days Layla have been absent from school, Liam was gone now everything was his responsibility.
Richard business have been shut down, all his workers and business partners have left him. no one was going to stand for him on the day of his trial, even Layla didn't want to come. she was convince that the whole world new her now. she hated watching TV because there was news about her and her Dad. Theo knew that this was one of the major reason why she wasn't attending her class anymore. the attention and question that she might get from people. Layla didn't want any of that. now Layla was always Lock up in her new room in Theo house whenever Theo wasn't around.
when Theo was around she would pretend like she was okay and makes joke about being a highschool drop out, that it wasn't so bad. Theo won't be so bother about her joke if he didn't know that it wasn't really a joke. Layla was really thinking about dropping out of highschool.
"have any of your family members contacted you?" Theo ask Layla who was laying down on his arm in her room.
her room and Theo room was Layla favorite part of the house.
it was the part that didn't feel so empty.
Theo maid that had travel out was coming back very soon because of Layla.
each time Layla saw Theo empty mansion, she understood the reason why Liam spend most of his time with Theo while he was alive. he didn't want Theo to be alone, atleast with Liam in his life he got a small form of a normal childhood.
Layla wonder if Theo maid was going to be angry from leaving her trip so soon. she found out from Theo that he was the one who drove his maid away from home so that he could be alone.
"some of them contacted me." Layla said, as she snuggle closer to Theo.
"so what did they say?"
"does it really matter about what they say?" Layla tried keeping her aggression away from her voice but she couldn't. things didn't feel so easy for her right now. her family members were all irritating. they had long abandon her and her Dad when he married a second wife. "let's just forget about them."
"okay, okay." maybe this was the right time for Theo to talk about what he truly wanted to ask from Layla. it felt like after Liam death Layla had become more stubborn than he remembered. now he had a stubborn girlfriend who he had to deal with, although he thought most of her stubbornness was cute. not all the time though. "I get it if you don't want to talk about them, but what I truly want to know," he said nervously. "are they going to take you away from me?"
his question made Layla heart warm, she loves the way Theo made her feel so wanted. it was so different from what she was use to. her family and her father reject her. even her best friend Rose was no longer with her. atleast with Theo she still had someone in her life who truly cares, someone that still love her even though her sick father killed his best friend. "no one can ever take me away from you, my family members are worried about the expenses that would come with taking care of me, they care more for that than if I'm dead or alive. so when I told them not to bother about it, they didn't waste anytime to hang the phone on me. some of them didn't even call."
Theo felt sad as he heard the pain in Layla voice. he thought to himself that non of them deserve Layla. "let's forget about them. let's talk about something fun... like school."
Layla groan and wanted to move away from him but Theo hand wrap around her waist as he brought her closer to him. there was no way he was going to let her escape, he had spend all day trying to think of the perfect way to bring up this topic to Layla and now looks like the perfect time.
"I thought you said you love me." Layla tried faking tears in his hands but the water wasn't coming up. being close to Theo was making her mind hazy, she couldn't think straight. "I don't want to go to school right now." she tried pushing at his chest but this only made Theo to bring her closer to him.
"with the attitude you are giving, you don't want to go at all."
"exactly." Layla stated, the word felt like it lifted some heavy weight off her chest because Theo finally knew what she wants.
"you can't do this."
"actually I can."
"I don't want you to, you know Liam wouldn't want this either."
Liam name brought back some of herself that she was that was getting lost in Theo arms. Theo was right, Liam would never want this for her. if he was here, he would be disappointed in Layla because she gave up so quickly, she was letting those around her influence the choice she takes about her life.
"is there any way I can just disappear from this world?" Layla ask Theo.
Theo kiss her forehead and reply, "no way, if you are planning to disappear from me." he let out a deep breath, he could understand Layla and all she was feeling. "why don't we just wait for now, let's just endure all this, it might be long but when everything is over, we can both leave this place and go far away. we can move out of this country and live someplace else, a place with less people, a place in which life will just be filled with the both of us and the family we would both build together."
Layla blush and smiled about the idea of having a family with Theo. "you promise?" she asked.
"I promise." Theo reply.
"okay. just a few more days, then I will go back to school."
