Summertime Rush

"Gosh finally, winter season is over" Beth rolled out of her bed and got ready to begin her day.
There wasn't much in store for her today. School is still closed and her friends are all busy spending time with their family.
Beth on the other hand, is stuck at home all alone. Her family were busy and it was just another day for Beth. Or was it?
"...What should I do today?" Contemplating Beth walked around her house, finding for something to entertain her.
Well, she was entertained by the amount of times she stubbed her toes and the amount of time she kept knocking things off.
"Dammit! Why is the universe so cruel today?!"
Beth spent the next 2 hours cursing at the universe. Not that it would make any difference but it was a good try?
Dejected she sat down on the sofa and turned on the television. There weren't any channel that caught her eyes so she went to Youtube and then Netflix. The whole cycle kept repeating.
"Is this a sign to procrastinate?....Oh? What's this?"
'My Daily Vlog in New York City' intrigued her. After about 5 minutes into the video, she decided on something.
"LET'S SPEND THE DAY OUT!!" Beth rushed back to her room, wore her best outfit and proceeds to head out. Until, she forgot her keys so she went back in.
She got into her car and turns the car on to give some time for her engine to cool down.
"Now...time for some music" The song 'Hush Rush by Lee Chaeyeon'
Beth wasn't sure of where to go first but she decided to go wherever her heart tells her to which was undoubtedly Family Mart.
Beth thought to herself 'Out of all the places....a convenience store which I frequent often'.
She grabbed a few snacks and drinks perhaps to accompany her on her upcoming journey. A so called 'Journey'
"That will be 29 dollars. Cash or card?"
"Uhmm...cash"
Out of the corner of her eye she saw a poster. The poster contained about a brand new cafe that had just opened a few hours from the convenience store.
"I suppose it wouldn't hurt to try" Beth grabbed the address that was written on it and left.
The drive was peaceful, there were people around enjoying their day. Beth was excited to gain a new experience at a new place.
That was until she took a wrong turn and only realized about an hour later. She gave up. On the shop not her journey but she was on the verge of it.
Beth was in an alleyway with only one way in and the way out seemed further away. Despite the horrid surroundings she reached a peculiar shop.
It was the only shop that was in a good condition and in bright colors. The shop was called 'Summer Breeze'.
Beth felt something call out to her from the shop. As if everything she needs is in that very shop. So she went in, the bell rang and there wasn't anyone who came to the front desk.
The shop varied from books to antiques as well as some really intricate crafts. It also seemed like a coffee shop?
"Hello? Is anyone here?" Nothing
She kept walking through, ignoring the items that were put on display. A big wooden door was in front of her. Beth was cautious of what could possibly lie behind the door.
She was scared and trembling. An unfamiliar presence could be standing right behind this very door

Beth just pushed the door open, she really couldn't care less.
Behold.
A secret area filled with trees with the morning sun shinning brightly as ever. The trees were Sakura trees, giving the place a much more surreal vibe. The colors were vibrant and felt as though she was in a fantasy themed place.
There were a few seats below the trees. The place seemed abandoned? Beth knew it was not possible as the place looked like it had been kept well for a long time.
"May I help you" A sudden voice alerted Beth, startled she threw the closest thing to her.
A few gummies. Beth threw gummies right at the guy's face. A few moments of silence, even the birds were embarrassed.
"...Oh my goodness! I'm so sorry!" The young man was baffled by the sudden action.
"It's...it's quite alright miss although I do apologize for startling you. That was on me"
We sat down and talked about the place. It seems it used to be a tourist attraction but due to the buildings and the narrow alleyway many people have lost their way and gave up.
Beth was told that the building was larger than it seems outside and there were multiple layers of the place varying from different structures, decors and so on. Due to the lack of people, Beth was given special treatment and was allowed to explore the place.

"How could anyone stop coming here,...everything is just so pretty" Beth sighed, grazing her fingers on the flowers nearby.
"Well then, I shouldn't let such opportunity go to waste now can I?"
Beth went through every single room and floor she could ever find. Each room holds a special meaning to her. She took pictures, ate some snack and even played the games that were held there.
Beth stumbled upon a room decorated according to the 1800. There were paintings hanging and a really really big chandelier in the center of the room. There was a man in there, with a masquerade mask on his face. He was also properly dressed for the whole theme of the room.
"You have arrived, My Lady" He reached out his hand to Beth, asking her for a dance.
But Beth doesn't really know that's what he actually meant and instead shook his hand and went past him.
"You shouldn't leave someone hanging when they offer you a dance..." The masked man was dejected, Beth spun around facing him and finally took his hand as they 'danced'.
Beth was...terrible. She stepped on his shoes for at least two times now but it didn't seem like the man minded maybe he was used to it. Despite the havoc caused in a mere few seconds, Beth enjoyed herself.
She thought to herself of the things she would be doing if she had chosen to stay at home instead. Once the dance was over she was rewarded with an exquisite mask herself as a token of remembrance. Beth continued on enjoying every single bit of the place.

It was night time when Beth returned home. Her family was worried as they had not seen her at home. She assured them that she just went out for a stroll and that everything was fine.
"Beth dear, why have you got a mask in your hand?"
"It's a token" Beth giggled as she went back to her room leaving her parents in the dark.
Beth made a mental note to go back there again and perhaps bring her friends and family as well. That way they could all enjoy
