Chapter 61 LAST MOMENTS TOGETHER 2.

They were able to tame miss Lucy down, and she yelled at everyone gathered;
“There's an explosive inside! And she's the cause of it!”.
Gorgenia gasped as everyone seemed confused. How did she show up out of the blues and point accusing fingers at Georgina? Perhaps she was still the same hating on her colleagues.
“What prank is this!” An old man yelled, walking back inside pissed from the drama caused here.
“Listen to me, everyone! She had this plotted, and I was trying to expose her because she's back to avenge her death!”
Julie was still inside the building searching for Brian although, there were still a few people inside. After searching in vain for some minutes, she ran towards the exit door and pressed through the crowd who were gathered around there. Miss Lucy tried to defend herself, but who would believe when she was definitely more like the devil who came to suck blood. What everyone knows now was that there was an explosive in the building and needs to evacuate immediately, which was the cause for the hold-ups at the exit door. Miss Lucy struggled out of the grip of the two men who held her, and she rushed back inside to get Julie, but the crowds kept pushing her backwards as everyone scampered for their lives and in a few seconds, a loud sound was held.
“Argh!!!” A loud roar emerged as a part of the duplex began to collapse.
“Julie!!!” Miss Lucy yelled, still pushing through to get into the building as Julie's voice flooded her head, but someone pulled her back. It was Georgina who was glaring at her.
“Let me go!” She barked, kicking against her and ran into the building as fire began to burst out from the roof.
“Julie!” She cried, running towards where she could see a ray of light.
“Mummy…” A voice called and miss Lucy ran towards where she heard the voice. She saw Julie covered in blood and a block on her legs.
“Oh my God!” She panicked, crying as she used her strength to roll back the block.
“Mom… please go away…safe your…”
“Shut up!” Miss Lucy barked as tears gushed out of her eyes. She was intending to comfort Julie that they would leave there alive, and another explosion was heard in the building causing it the whole building to collapse at a great speed, although there was still a part that hadn't fallen completely.
“I love you, mom… I'm sorry…” Julie muttered, closing her eyes.
“Julie! Listen to me… mummy is here… we're going to survive! Please! Hang in there!” She cried, holding on to Julie as she looked up, and a rod aimed at falling onto them, but someone shoved them aside.
“Brian…” Miss Lucy cried holding on to his shoulder and he carried Julie in his arms, leading them outside. The emergency wards had arrived as they quenched the giant flame that erupted like a volcano from this part of the city. A stretcher was rolled out of the emergency van and Julie was placed on it. Miss Lucy attempted to get into the van, but Brian stopped her. He looked at her, regretting what he was about to do as he closed the van behind him.
“Brian, Julie needs me now…”
“You have to face the law…miss Lucy” he called, and she stood in shock. Was this the right time for that? Could he see the dilemma she was in?
“Brian, moves out of the way!” She ordered as the van began to drive away. Miss Lucy ran after it yelling that the driver should stop, but he ignored her and drove with high speed. She fell to her knees as she was covered in dust and blood from the explosion. She could hear a siren blasting behind her, she slowly turned at Brian who was chasing after her, like a rejected bride who had lost all hope and decides to commit suicide. Furthermore, she couldn't control her tears as she was weeping wildly.
“Tell me it's a dream” she said, and he swallowed hard, bringing a handcuff. Miss Lucy was confused as she was unable to understand what he was doing.
“Brian?.. what's going on?” She questioned with a faint voice as she stood up with pains in her chest.
“You've been charged with murder cases” a cop explained, and she shook her head and beckoned on Brian to defend her, but he was just mute.
“Brian, say something please… it's a lie…, please. Say it's not true… I'm innocent.” She pleaded, going on her knees. He stooped low and grabbed her wrist her, locking them in the cuff.
“You're guilty” he muttered, standing up as two policemen grab her by the arm while leading her into the car. She was dead inside but alive trying hard to breathe from the shock she had received today. The media must indeed be a lit this time around because there was enough news for a whole of that month pertaining miss Lucy. Brian stood behind her as he watched the way she was dragging her feet like someone paralyzed. Immediately she got to the car, she glanced at Brian heartbroken and inhaled deeply, he stared back with no emotions as he got into his car heading for the hospital. To him, this was the punishment she deserves although, it got complicated because an explosion was involved. He had gotten to the station and was returning with cops when he saw people running out of the building which was engulfed in fire. He looked through the crowds if he could find miss Lucy and Julie but couldn't, and he dashed into the building not knowing what had come over him. After countless search and swerving through the walls that were breaking apart and causing dust, he heard a voice screaming for help and crying. There he found miss Lucy holding on to Julie as there was no way out of there, so he had to suffice a path to take them out before the fragments of the building finally crashes.
