Chapter 65 LOVE AND JUSTICE 2.

“You've just crossed the line!” Clara groaned, heaving deeply.
“Perhaps…a message from your husband too!”
“Brian!”
“Wow…you know my name before I could say so… I'm asking you calmly…where is Lucy!”
“I seriously don't know!…argh!” She screamed as a gunshot was fired at her daughter.
“Mummy! They're going to kill me!” Diana called crying and Clara swallowed, the bullet didn't hit the poor child.
“That was close” Brian muttered, standing up.
“Where's she?!”

Miss Lucy woke up only to find herself chained to the bed, she could see scary nurses holding walking too and for. A doctor grinned at her, holding an injection to induce her.
“No!!” She struggled, but her pleading went void as he injected her. Miss Lucy cried as she wrenched her body, everyone seemed double in her eyes while her head spiked with ache.
“Take her to the cell” the doctor ordered as two nurses carried miss Lucy who was weak to say a word. She was locked up with an old woman who seemed insane, the walls were covered with numbers in tally which signified how long this woman have been here. The old woman laughed on seeing miss Lucy whose eyes were closed.
“Are you part of us!” She chanted, jumping like a monkey who looks happy to see it's kind. Miss Lucy couldn't utter a word as all she cried out for was Julie.
“Oops…forget about her…ha!ha! There's no way out of here” the woman continued banging the cell.
“We are dead to the world”.
Miss Lucy suddenly collapsed, and the woman laughed harder.
“She's more crazy than I am”
She opened her eyes once more and found herself in the cell while the old woman was asleep on the bed. Miss Lucy ran to its gate and banged the rods but no one was listening to her, rather, the old lady woke up and hissed.
“We're the only isolated ones here! Got that!”
“No…how did I ever get here?” Miss Lucy barked. The woman laughed harder and jeered at miss Lucy.
“That's because you and I got ourselves into this mess…never trouble the affluent because they own this country” she mocked jumping from the bed.
“But we can be friends…”
“Shut up!” Miss Lucy sneered
“I'm not insane! Like you are!”
The old woman twisted her curly hair and chuckled childishly.
“Fine then… leave if you want” the woman beckoned and miss Lucy leaned on the gate.
“We are stucked under the ground…with no one running after us” the woman sanged as miss Lucy sobers as she buried her head on her knees.

“Mom!” Julie muttered as a finger moved, her eyes were tightly closed as she looked scared yet her body wasn't moving. Alexandra was seated beside her and suddenly rushed to call a doctor. The doctor realized that her breathing rate had increased, including the body temperature. She had to inject the child with ibuprofen to calm it down as all they could hear in the way;
“Mom”
Alexandra called Brian on the line to inform him of Julie's state.
“I guess she wants to see miss Lucy”.
Brian sighed sadly and said;
“She's going to see her soon” he assured.
“Were you are able to get where she was kept?”
“Yes, but she was moved from there…and Clara is unaware”
“Oh God…where have they taken her too?”
“My mistake was letting Rodger live once more!” He mused, recalling what had transpired a little while ago when Oliver shot at him. Brian had abandoned him on the ground in search of where miss Lucy could probably be, not minding if he was still alive.
“How about Clara? How would you get her in jail?”.
“She doesn't need jail…” He responded, switching off the phone as Alexandra seemed puzzled. What could he have done to Clara?
Brian got to Rodger's mansion, but unfortunately, he wasn't there perhaps, he must have run away overnight having been conscious that Brian would come after him if he figures out Rodger was still breathing. He couldn't get proper information about where Rodger would be immediately and so decided to drive off to the police force. Here, he was able to get some footage of Rodger's car movement. Although, he wasn't able to get the exact location Rodger drove towards for the last two days.

Days passed away, and it had gotten to a month now which miss Lucy spent in this place, she was also drugged every day to loss her senses and act wild. It was assumed that miss Lucy was dead again by the public. Looks like, she was still the talk of the town. Meanwhile, Brian had tried his best to find miss Lucy, but to no avail. Julie was now responding to treatment only that her eyes weren't opened yet and Alexandra was charged with the responsibility of taking care of the child. For the mayor, he was deprived of his post due to the efforts of Brian exposing the truth. As for Clara, she almost died of poisoning but got rescued on time. However, she was charged with the case of murder and was facing trial. Brian must have done all to bring back the Justice he deserved yet, he couldn't find the woman whom he had made miserable any longer. Two months had gone now and Julie finally opened her eyes, it was a thing of joy as miss Alexandra hugged her happily yet the first thing she said was;
“Mom?”.
Brian hurried to the hospital and found the weak Julie gazing around.
“Hero?” She muttered with a wry smile and hugged her.
“My brave girl.” He cried as she looked sad.
“Where's miss Lucy?” She asked in a dry tone. Alexandra glanced at Brian, who rubbed Julie's hair.
“She would be here soon…mommy had somewhere to go” he replied, and she sighed a relief. At least, her mother was alive, and she was glad to see Alexandra, who couldn't control her tears.
“I can't wait to see her too” Julie muttered, closing her eyes as tears flowed slowly.
