* What I have come to realize is that God's plan takes time. *

The ground was a little wet as it had just finished drizzling...
Nevertheless, the weather still looked very good and perfect for an outing...
Malisa who was wearing a simple flare gown and sandals walked ahead of, Aiden to the car.
Unlike other days, Aiden was putting on something more casual... Just a simple Chelsea shirt and pants...
His hair was combed very nicely making him look very young and dashing...
He didn't look like the usual way he does today.
Rather he looked like a college student who was going out on a date.
Though the aura of Presidency was still there...
Well... It's not like he could let go of it just because he wanted to anyways...
The duo stopped in front of a blue Jeep... Aiden had decided that he was going to take it out that day as it's been a while since he last took the vehicle out for a ride...
" The car looks very new Indeed. " Malisa couldn't help but comment staring at the car...
" Hm... I don't use it that much so it still looks very new. "
" Yeah... "
They soon got into the car and Aiden ignited the engine and soon the vehicle was set in motion.
" You haven't told me where we are heading to yet. " Malisa reminded.
" I know right? It's a surprise. So you should just stay calm... " He replied with a wink.
" Alright.... " Malisa sighed as the vehicle maneuvered into the street slowly...
Malisa soon got lost in thoughts as she found herself thinking of how she would never have thought her life would turn out this way.
Just months ago, she had thought her fate had been decided. And that maybe she wasn't really born for something great after all and would just end up getting married off like the rest...
But now?
It's like there was a diversion in her fate as everything took a different turn...
Well... She never settled for mediocrity...in the first place.
As she always knew she was destined for something greater... Though then it wasn't so obvious as it was like her Destiny was being covered all up by a large umbrella being in that village of herself...
She got to realize that, our environment truly matters with what we will become in future.
If we are surrounded by people who never pursue their dreams and blend in with them... Then there's a very high possibility that one might end up like then.
Only if there's a divine intervention.
Sometimes, Malisa's dreams looked too far fetched as girl's in her viliage don't even have the freedom of speech not to talk of dreaming...
What's dreams? Malisa often asked herself....
Sometimes she sleep at night and see herself walking on the ladder of success...
Sometimes it's like a daydream and other times it's like so visions and flashes in her mind...
Then she realized that though she was born in an ordinary Place...
She wasn't ordinary but extraordinary...
And that little extra is what's needed to catapult her to her Destiny!
While her society thought of women as a mere childbearing tool...
She never saw herself as that...
She believed she was destined for so much more....
Because why would she have this kind of thought process if she wasn't destined for so much more?
So she never limited herself to what people thought...
She believed she was different.
Completely different from the rest.
And that's where her pride lies in being different!
And when the thoughts of being otherwise set in...
She recalls the fact that she was created for a reason and a purpose that she must achieve no matter what.
So this kept her going...
Though sometimes the going became tough...
But well, she never gave up...
Even when it seems like there was no way out...
She never stopped dreaming and aiming...
She believed in herself... And the beauty of her dreams...
She kept trying till there was a divine intervention...
And that's why, she believes in not giving up...
No matter how tough it is.
We should just keep trying...
Till we win...
Because only then can we truly be victorious...
Quitters never win...
Winners never Quit.
So we just need to keep fighting for our dreams! No matter how difficult it seems!
Just keep fighting!
....
A/N : What do you think, guys?
Take care....

The car soon arrived at a fair...
Malisa was surprised, she didn't hear of a fair going on... So how is it possible that there's one going on without her knowledge?
Well... I guess she had forgotten that she can only know about something that, Aiden wanted her to.
If he didn't want her to know then there's no way she would.
" So what do you think of my surprise? " Aiden's voice Interrupted her from her thoughts.
" It's not bad. " She smiled...
" I'll take that as a compliment then... " He said parking the car in the parking lot.
Just before Malisa could open the door on her side, he had already turned over and helped her to...
" Let me. " He said opening the door and then holding out his hand towards her..
Malisa smiled taking his hand. " Merci. "
" You welcome. "
The fair was filled with people from different races who came to celebrate.
" So what's the fair about? " Malisa asked, Aiden as they walked towards the canteen...
" Well... It's nothing much. It's more like a lover's fair. People from different races to celebrate love. "
" Oh... But I thought February 14 is the day of love. "
" Yep. But any other day can also be turned into a day of love too. "
" Just like Christmas. "
" Right. Like they say, the day is still like any other day. It still has the same 24 hours and the sun will rise at the normal time it should and the nights too will come at the time it should. It's just our thinking that makes the day different from other days. "
" You are right. Just like on one's birthday. We are reminded continually by our subconscious mind and people around us that, " Hey today is your birthday " so the day Continues to be special in our eyes. "
" Hm... " They soon got to their designated table where they took their seat under a big umbrella...
From where they sat, they could watch the whole fair play out right in front of them...
And to be sincere. It was indeed a fun sight to the behold.
" By the way. Do you get excited about your birthday's? " Aiden asked her...
" Not really. I only feel thankful for my life and the breath I have. There's no other thing that makes that day significant. My parents and siblings probably don't even recall my birthday's so the day is almost just like every other day. "
" Okay... "
" What about you and Mary? How do you two celebrate your birthday's? "
" Well... We go out to fun fairs. Sometimes we do throw a small party mostly a beach party for Mary and her friends so they can all have fun. "
" Oh wow. I never thought, Mary was like a party person. "
" Well she is... She just don't look like someone who is into partying that much... "
" Hm... That's why it's said that we should judge a book by it's cover.."
" Yes. "
Soon, a waiter approached their table and they ordered for appetizers.
While waiting for it, they continued watching the fun fair just like everyone else...
There were dancers and singers all performing so beautifully....
They sang songs from different continents of the world, Europe, Asia...
Malisa was even surprised when she heard them singing a song well known to be from Africa.
Like really?
" I always thought people from France practices discrimination too... "
" Well... They do in a way but not everyone does that. There are even some people who loved blacks... "
" Really? "
" Yep... "
" That's great then... "
" Yeah... "
Soon, The actress began acting a romantic drama.
It was featured on, Love..
Amour.
It was a short one but very heartwarming...
It was about an orphan girl who always believed that she had no one in the world who cared about her...
But this all changed one day when she was trapped in an heavy rain...
She was completely drenched from head to toe and was even shivering...
As there was no shelter around the path she was walking she just kept walking in the heavy rain...
Perhaps it was due to the torment of the rain, she even began crying as she grieved her life.
She began to think about how lucky she was... And how so bad her fate was...
She even began to think about how she'll be better off dead than being in this condition...
All of a sudden she stopped and knelt down on the wet soil as she cried...
Just then, she felt a shelter on her head as the rain which was pouring continously on her ceased.
She stared upwards and was surprised to see a young man staring at her with compassion.
She couldn't react for a while as she was left completely spellbound by those beautiful eyes of his...
" Hey, are you okay? " The man said crouching beside her...
Still the girl didn't react as she continued wondering what his motive was...
She wasn't used to people being nice to her so well... She didn't drop down her guard.
Not like she had the strength to fight him if he really wanted to take advantage of her anyways...
Still she felt it was better to stay quiet...
Later, the man stated his purpose and told her about how he had been searching for her for years only to find her now...
And when the girl asked why he was looking for her...
He told her, that she was his Saviour... She saved his life when she donated her blood to him when he was in a dire need of one.
The girl was stunned... She never realized that the little act of kindness she showed could come back to help her...
In the end, the man carried the girl to his car out of her will and took her to his home where he took care of her...
He gave her the family she had always longed for...
And most importantly the love she had always dreamed about...
" Amour... I'll always love you... " He said to her one day...
The girl was stunned... She too had began to grow feelings for him with time... " I love you, too... " She found herself saying before she could stop herself...
The man was in awe...
Soon, he got on his knees and brought out the diamond ring he always had with him... As he proposed...
" Amour... You are my angel... You saved my life when all hope was lost. And now it's my turn to. Let me be your responsible for your smile. Let me take care of you... Let me be there for you... I want to be your one and only... Holding your hands in mine till the end of time... Give the right to grow old with you and be your side.... Will you marry me, Amour? "
With a tear stained face the girl replied. With just one word but it was enough to seal it all....
" Oui!!!! "
She said yes!
The man carefully inserted the ring into her ring finger before standing up and embracing her lovingly...
" I love you, Amour.... "
" Love you too.... "
The short drama ended up with the spectators tearing up...
Malisa too was no exception as she also couldn't control the tears...
" Here... " Aiden said passing her an handkerchief.
" Thank you.... " Malisa said wiping out her tears...
" You welcome... " Aiden said squeezing her other hand in an attempt to console her...
" Hm... " Malisa gave him a reassuring smile...
....
A/N : Aw... What an emotion packed chapter! I almost cried...
What do you think, guys?
Awaiting your responses...
