Minutes later, the awards ceremony took place...
" On behalf of NYGT I present this golden award to you... " The head Judge said as he presented the golden award to Malisa...
Malisa accepted the award with shaky hands but the moment she received the award... She became confident once again and lifted the awards up in the air. " I did it! "
Only those who knew of her story would be able to understand the deeper meaning behind her words...
Though some other people could feel the intense emotions in those three lettered words too...
" Congratulations, Miss Bree... " Another Judge congratulated her too with a smile...
" Thanks... " Malisa replied with a bow...
Later, after all the formalities had been done and Malisa and she received her cheque too...
She headed backstage where, Mary and Aiden were waiting for her... Surprisingly she also found, Gabriella there...
Just before anyone could beat her to it, Gabriella walked swiftly towards, Malisa and embraced her lovingly.... " You did it, Isa....I am proud of you... "
Malisa cried hearing those words... Only her knew just how much those words meant to her...
Gabriella had always been her very first role model... And she could say that the latter was one of the reasons why she at first believed in her dreams...
The latter was always there to motivate her and to help with what's needed...
Though they separated later on, but the lessons and inspirational words never stopped ringing in Malisa's ears...
One thing Malisa had come to realize is that, Gabriella was like a guardian angel to her...
Without her... She wouldn't be here....
" Sis... Thank you for always believing in me... " Malisa said amidst tears...
Gabriella pulled away from her slowly as she carefully wiped out, Malisa's tears... " You welcome. Thanks also for not giving up on your dreams... "
" Hm... " Malisa nodded as she embraced Gabriella once again...
" Love you, sister... "
" Love you more, Isa... " Gabriella said those words from the bottom of her heart...
Only her know just how much, Malisa meant to her...
She was more than a little sister to her... She was like her younger twin... Her pride and her piece of support...
From the moment she got to witness malisa coming into the world...
Though she was younger then, just a three years old child... She could sense that string of connection that formed between then right at that moment...
So from then on, she never saw, Malisa as a mere village girl...
Rather, she saw her as more like a younger twin... One whom she is responsible for....
And that's what she did...
She didn't need anyone to tell her what to do as she knew it already... She just followed her heart and intuition without questions...
So even her sisters and mother opposed her and chided her. She never stopped caring for, Malisa...
Because she knew that the latter needed her...
Infact they needed one another...
Then she didn't realize it, but now looking back she did...
Perhaps it's really correct that we can't connect the dots looking forward. Rather, we can only connect the dots looking backwards...
After the two sisters hugging section... Mary ran towards, Malisa and embraced her tightly... " You did it, sis! " She said with excitement...
" I did, Mary... Thanks for believing in me... "
" You welcome, sis! " Mary replied releasing her...
Next, Malisa stood still staring at, Aiden... Who was also looking at her...
At that very moment, it felt as if time stopped as the duo just kept staring at one another... Until Malisa began advancing towards him...
Aiden spread out his hands as she allowed, Malisa embrace him rather tightly as he patted her back... " You did well... I am proud of you, Mali..... " He whispered though very softly, the pride in his voice cannot be ignored...
Perhaps it's because of the decade age difference between them but, Malisa almost felt like she was hearing the words she had always wanted to hear from a father like figure... And it was really heartwarming...
" Thank you for believing in me... " She cried on his chest...
" You welcome.... " Aiden kept Patting her back comfortingly not minding that his shirt was becoming stained with her tears...
Later.
" So where are we going to be celebrating? " Mary the party freak inquired.
" I heard there's a newly opened restaurant around here. " Gabriella said.
" I already made the arrangements for a private room there. " Aiden replied much to their astonishment...
Perhaps that have forgotten that he was still the same President Evans that controls the business chain of Europe.
They soon went over to the restaurant where they had a great feast!
It was an unforgettable experience!

Due to this, the respect he had for her increased to the highest level...
The admission letter came a few days later and soon Malisa began to prepare herself for the first semester...
And most importantly the first day at school.....
Never would she have thought that she'll be getting lots of surprises on her very first day at college...
Unlike other students, she wouldn't be living on campus and would be going from home on a daily basis...
Aiden arranged all of this her for her own safety and benefit and Malisa understood it all...
She never stopped being grateful for his love and care towards her...
Like it's really so beautiful...
.......
