Thutaara's Silence

I
The wind embraced the bodies of Draeko and Grazziena and thereafter it slowly faded.
Draeko and Grazziena looked at each other. “Did you feel that, Sweetheart?” Grazziena asked with astonishment.
Draeko nodded and whispered to her right ear, “Yes, I did, Sweety. Let us relax, Thutaara did nothing to hurt us and I really hope, she won’t anymore.”
“We will be praying for that, Sweety.” She gave him a glance and then smiled with a bit of relief flashing through her beautiful face.
“We will be wishing the same to our Moon Goddess, Draeko, and Grazziena and we will hope that Thutaara finds light in her dark spirit, Lumaro, who heard them, stated with a sense of positive expectation.
“Guys, the sun is setting already, we better get going back to the Pack House. We can never tell, we might either be followed suit by rogues, vampires, or witches from other territories that might be more evil than Thutaara.” Luna Leslie interrupted.
“Yeah, right. Let us hurry now.” Alpha Lumaro agreed and they all walked back hurriedly to the Cold Mountain Pack’s Packhouse.
They arrived safe and sound in the Packhouse and they were met by Alpha Lumaro’s Father, the former Alpha Roilo.
“How was your Village Tour?” former Alpha Roilo asked.
The four looked at each other Lumaro decided to be honest with his father. “We met Thutaara, Father. She threatened us but in the end, we were surprised that she just disappeared calmly and without any further threatening words.”
“We should be thankful that she did not do anything to harm all of you, especially you Grazziena.” Former Alpha Roilo suddenly became worried but Grazziena assured him that they are fine.
“I am hopeful Uncle Roilo that Thutaara will finally be at peace and she will eventually forget the pains that my parents caused her,” Grazziena said with a smile of positivity.
Former Alpha Roilo nodded with a smile now. “That could be done through the power of words and belief Grazziena. Let us all believe in that then.”
Everyone nodded, hope overwhelming each of their hearts.
They had a bountiful dinner and they all end up with full and happy tummies. To melt some of what they have eaten for dinner, Luna Leslie, invited them to drink tea or coffee in the wonderful garden just beside the packhouse. The garden is full of beautiful flowering plants giving the area with such a fresh and nose-catching scent, while fireflies come and go, giving added light inside the garden. Inside the garden is a garden bench and then a coffee and tea set tables and chairs made of wood.
They had unstoppable chatting and laughing, while Luna Leslie’s and Alpha Lumaro’s little boy was happily playing with the fireflies with his fireflies’ catcher in his little hands.
Until the moon, slowly grew big and illumines the whole garden, giving them the light that they needed that night.
The next day, they waited for Thutaara’s attack but she was nowhere in sight. She did not appear. Thutaara’s silence was deafening. The wind blew naturally without that chilling effect on Grazziena anymore.
They then all wondered. “What happened to Thutaara?”
II
Two days after, a beautiful woman with long black hair and flawless skin, dressed in a peach flowing dress with her cute sandals, walked into the city and entered a small, cozy coffee shop.
She waved her hand to the waiter on the cue waiting for a customer’s order. The young and smiling waiter walked toward the beautiful woman and gladly took her orders.
“Yes, pretty Madam, may I know your orders please?”
“Oh, I wanted to taste your best-selling coffee and cake.” The pretty woman in a peach flowing dress replied with a sweet smile.
“Right away, Madam,” the young waiter even bowed down to her before he left.
After a while, the same waiter returned with a heart shape chocolate cheesecake and Fraffucino, with a small note beside the cake. “These are all free for a pretty woman like you. All charged to the owner of the cafe.”
The pretty woman’s eyes glowed with excitement as her eyes scanned around and then she looked at the young waiter and showed him the note.
“Ahhmm, pretty Madam, he will introduce himself in due time. Meantime, enjoy your sweet cake and frappuccino.” The waiter smiled, bowed down, and left.
The pretty woman excitedly devoured the cake and like a free-spirited, teenage girl, sipped the straw of the frappuccino and closed her eyes, with a hint of a smile on her lips.
Nearby, a man in his mid-twenties, kindly-looking but robust and muscular in appearance has been watching the pretty woman with amusement and admiration at the same time. This is the first time that he saw the woman inside his cafe and even around the city. Her beauty is captivating which really made him so drawn to her the moment she entered the cafe.
When the pretty woman finished her cake and frappuccino, she called the waiter and gave him a piece of paper where her note to the owner and giver of her sweet cake and frappuccino was written.
In her note was written, “The Frafuccino was delicious and the cake’s sweetness was just enough that made me crave for more. Should you have more, meet me at the Bellanie’s apartment Number 8. Thank you.”
