"I'm pregnant," she said in a low tone. Uzenio couldn't speak immediately and just stared at her. When she felt that he was not speaking, she looked him in the eyes. "Brimo is the father," she added. Uzenio did not take his eyes off her. There was no emotion to be seen on his face and she knew what Uzenio's looks meant to her. "Why did you let him touch you?" Uzenio asked, and the tone of his speech was a lack of excitement. "I love him Uzenio—" "You know what he is, Halia." He was referring to Brimo's personality. "What might happen to your child then? What does that look like growing up?" Her gaze went straight to his eyes. "He's still human, he/she can also be like his/her father," she replied in a whispering way then looked up the stairs. He was grateful that her mother was no longer standing there. "You know what Brimo is," Uzenio reasoned. His face showed concern for the child in her womb. “As I said, he/ she can be like Brimo. I am ready there, and I accept that. Just like how I accepted Brimo when I found out the truth about him, " she replied. "Truth about Brimo?" Her chest throbbed as if a drum had been beaten by a drum stick when she heard her father's sudden words. When she turned to the door she saw him standing and lowered her gaze to the attached case he was holding. But she immediately looked at her father's face and gulped. There was suspicion in his eyes at her as if he had a hint about Brimo's personality. "What's Brimo's secret?" Her father asked again and tension prevailed throughout their living room. She looked at Uzenio who was also looking away from her father. "Do you know this too, Uzenio?" Marco asked Uzenio now. Uzenio hesitated to look at Halia and just bowed his head. "Why can't you answer—" "Let Brimo confess, about it," her mother interjected, and she was now down the stairs. "If he loves Halia. He will tell us what he is." What Karina said had a deep meaning. Halia just lowered her head and stared at her fingers again. As her parents said, it was Brimo who had to tell them the truth. And Halia was safe in telling the truth. In their yard where at the back of their house there is Bermuda grass. Uzenio and Halia sat there. They remained silent for a moment. Uzenio sighed to break the silence. "What's your plan now?" She stared at the emptiness. “He wants a marriage as soon as possible. He wanted us to be married before I give birth to our child," she replied in a low tone. "He's right," Uzenio nodded softly in agreement. “Are you still against us?” She asked him. Uzenio was silent and then looked down. “If I am the one to follow. I don't like Brimo, for you. But as a friend, I have always been supportive of you. Despite my displeasure with him, I still saw him being a responsible person." Uzenio admitted. “I also met him as a werewolf. He also explained to me everything about their role in this world. " He looked at her." You're right, they're not bad. They're our saviors. " Halia couldn't help but smile at what Uzenio had said. He is her friend. Unbeknownst to Halia and Uzenio, one of the vampires is currently watching them. He overheard their conversation and quickly left his place. He returned to their place and quickly confronted his king. "Dear king," he whispered to him and there was still a trace of fear in his speech. Even though the news he brought for his king was good, he could not help but be afraid. Their king was naturally strong compared to them and with the slightest mistake, he would surely be killed. "How is your observation?" Asked his king. "This is good news for all of us, Dear king." "Tell me the good news you have brought," his king commanded him with authority. He was gulped, his head bowed and he couldn’t help but be scared. "The woman holding the magical bow is pregnant," he reported. Rothor stood up straight and stared at his disciple. He thought that what they were waiting for had arrived and that was the reason for his grin. "The prophecy is being fulfilled." Rothor's laughter echoed all around and his disciple accompanied it. "The kingdom of darkness is about to begin!" he shouted even louder in a creepy way. “Just for a little patient, Dear king. We will rule over mortals," said his disciple. He stopped laughing when he remembered something. “But the blood of our race is not yet in the person of the baby. It is not yet the full center of the four lineages," he pointed out. "Will you order us to make the woman with the magical bow as our ally, dear king?" he asked. "No," he answered bluntly. "Torth will do. Torth's power is what is needed to make the center of the four lineages stronger." "Very good news." Torth applauded as he suddenly arrived. He approached his father and stopped right in front of them. "I'll get Halia too," he said and grinned. - "Halia, go inside first," Karina suddenly called to Halia who was in their yard with Uzenio. Uzenio and I looked at each other and asked the same question but they decided to just nod. Halia stood up and Uzenio followed. They dusted themselves to remove the dirt on their clothes from the weeds. "Why, Mother?" Halia asked and approached her first. "Brimo and his father are here," she replied and suddenly the pounding in her chest increased. She already knew what it meant for Brimo to come with his father. "All right, Mother." She looked at Uzenio and even on his face, there were traces of nervousness and tension. They followed Karina inside. When they got inside they found Brimo and his father sitting on their couch. Brimo stood up quickly and ignored the looks of their parents to him and stepped towards her. Her smiles also widened when Brimo hugged her tightly. Marco only let out a sigh while Noreo remained calm. Noreo's calmness made Halia's parents startled. They felt the ferocity in his posture and there was a tremor in their chests. "Have long have been here?" Halia asked Brimo when she broke away from their embrace. "Just in time," Brimo replied with a smile and looked at Uzenio. "It's good that you're here, Zenio." Uzenio just nodded at him. "I already know the truth." Gradually the smiles on Brimo's lips faded when he noticed that Uzenio didn't seem happy with what he found out. It just means Uzenio dislikes what they have. "Thank you and you accepted me for Halia," Brimo said even though he knew that wasn't true. Uzenio seemed forced to nod to Brimo. "What are you waiting for?" Marco said to them and they turned to him at the same time. "Let's go and talk about this." They looked at each other first and then nodded. Brimo held Halia around the waist as they approached the couch where their parents were sitting. Brimo helps Halia to sit down and he also sits next to her and on the other side of him is Noreo. Uzenio stepped aside from Karina who was also next to Marco. Noreo sighed for a moment before speaking, "I'm the one who apologizes for what happened to the two of them." Brimo folded his palms while Marco and Karina nodded. “I know, it will not be easy for you. Especially since my son did not go through the right process of relationship with your daughter," he added, referring to the fact that he seemed disappointed. “It has happened, Mr. Milandres. There is nothing we can do,” Marco replied sadly. "That's right, we really can't do anything," Noreo agreed and Halia and Brimo looked at each other. Brimo took her hands and looked at her then smiled sweetly. "As a family on the Brimo's side, I want their wedding to take place as soon as possible," Noreo said again. "So that before their child was born it is not illegitimate." Noreo had a point that Halia's parents accepted. “To make up for my son's mistake. I will take care of all the expenses. But I have a request. ” Everyone looked at each other, but Noreo continued speaking. “I would like you to live in the mansion so that we can watch over you better. Your place is especially dangerous. ” Karina and Marco furrowed their forehead after Noreo said that. "We know our place is dangerous but how did it happen that you seem to have memorized that danger?" Marco asked. Noreo remained calm and Brimo slowly looked at his father. "There are many of you who don't know around but it's better than before you know that, you're safe first." Noreo's words make sense. "What do you mean?" Karina asked and clung tightly to Marco's arm. "Vampires are targeting your daughter now, especially since she's pregnant." "What?" Exclaimed the Catastran couple after hearing what Noreo said.
