"Father!" Halia struggled as her father dragged her down the stairs. When Noreo said that they were of the Werewolf race, Marco suddenly lost trust in the Milandres family. Apart from that, he felt great concern for Halia. He was afraid that the creatures with them would hurt them. Even though they were currently in their place Marco still wanted them to leave. "Father! Wait a minute, you're thinking wrong!" "Let's go, Halia! We're not safe from them!" "Uncle!" Brimo also stopped Marco. "You are more dangerous when you come out here!" "Stay away from my daughter! You are not good for her!" Marco openly shouted at Brimo. But Brimo understood that. He knew Marco was just shocked. Anyone would probably be surprised if you just know that you are in a place where all the Werewolves live. He was pulling his daughter and Halia crying, shaking her head. She protested not to leave. That's why Marco also had a hard time pulling her. "They won't hurt us, Father! Please I'm begging you! Listen to me! I'm pregnant, and Brimo is the father!" Halia wailed. Marco became even more depressed when he remembered his daughter's situation. "I don't know what kind of creature is in your womb! Maybe when it comes out it will be like his father—a dog!" Marco glance at Halia's belly nervously. "Marco... we're in their place," Karina whispered to her husband and her face showed a strong tremor. "Marco..." Noreo called calmly. "Don't come near us! You're a monster!" Marco snorted to Noreo in frightened "I don't know how and why my daughter met you. What is going on in our lives? Why do you have to come into our lives?" "Father! They are our saviors—" "Shut up Halia! They are monsters! This place is not safe for you. We got away from the vampires and now we are in the Werewolves' place!" he tried to make his daughter understand what he meant. Halia's tears flowed as she shook her head. Noreo is helpless and just watches standing at the top of the stairs. Brimo is currently hugging Halia from behind while Karina covered her mouth while crying, watching Marco pulling their daughter. The maids of the mansion have also arrived. Watching what happens. "We're safe here, Father! When we go out it's more dangerous for us! Especially you, vampires can easily hypnotize you because you're human," Halia explained while crying. "Uncle, I'm the one saying it. No one will hurt you here—" "You are the prince here Brimo! You are one of the scary creatures!" "You touched me, Uncle, when I was in wolf form. Do you remember? You saw me, you thanked me because I saved Uzenio. That's who I am, I help people!" Marco stunned when Brimo said that. Halia continued to cry and hugged Brimo when Marco let her go. "We will not allow you to leave here. It's okay to be angry with us. The important thing is that we are sure you are safe," Brimo spoke again. He also wiped sweat because of the intensity of worry. "I don't know if I should trust you anymore," Marco said firmly. "That's why I notice many different things about you because you're a werewolf." "Father! Please, remember. They didn't judge me when they found out I wasn't like them. They accepted me the same way they accept us now. Can we also accept them? Have we?" "Can't we just get away from this place, Come on? In Manila! Let's just live there," the father begged sadly. He wiped his sweaty face. "Vampires will follow you Marco." Noreo stepped down and they watched him. "No matter where you go, they will approach you and hurt Halia. Except our territory. They can't just enter here." "How can we believe that you two creature are not collided?" Now Karina asked. "What if it's all just pretend?" "Your daughter can prove that question, Karina," answered Noreo who was now completely down the stairs and facing them. Karina kept listening even though the tears kept falling. Who would have thought that their lives would reach this situation. "I was almost killed by their prince," Brimo interjected. "Halia just saved me. Now if we're affiliated with them? Why would they do that to me being the center of the Werewolf race?" Little by little, the couple calmed down. "There's still a lot you don't know and we're ready to explain everything to you if you'll just listen to us," Brimo pleaded. Marco anxiously looked around. He sees the stewards of the mansion who he is sure are like Brimo who are also Werewolves. "They don't hurt people," Noreo calmed what Marco might think of the trustees. "They will protect you. Everyone like us is not an enemy." Suddenly they stopped and turned to an elderly man. It had a thick sash indicating that it was in a high position. "May I speak, Dear king?" He's a good plea to Noreo. Noreo just nodded and the man stepped forward. "My name is Alho, I am the chief guardian of the Werewolf race in the Primodial pack." It seems that the Catastran family is still confused by his position. "We are not evil creatures. Our duty is to protect you humans. If we have bad intentions to you we didn't come to the place where you were attacked by vampires." Karina raised her head. She remembered what happened at the mango plantation while Marco remained confused by what the chief guard Alho was saying. "Torth Hidrith attacked you. He is the prince of the vampires and he wants nothing more than your daughter." The Catastran couple were stunned when they heard what the Chief guard said. "If you force yourselves to leave because you don't accept our race. You will put your daughter in danger." It seems that the chief guard also knows something about Halia's situation. "Only in this place is your daughter safe. No vampire can get close because they will first pass through our sharp claws, before they can hurt you." Marco just bowed due to a little realization. "Your daughter needs to be watched closely. She cannot be left alone even for a second," the head guard meaningfully continued. "B-But why our daughter?" Marco finally asked as if his heart was getting closer to the Werewolves. "Because your daughter is carrying the child of our prince," answered the chief guard. "And what are they aiming for in my daughter's womb?" asked Karina. "The blood of our prince runs through the veins of the baby in your daughter's womb. Our prince is the center of the four races of Werewolves. The blood of man and fairy also runs through the veins of your daughter..." The chief guard took a deep breath. "What do you mean?" Marco asked, struggling to understand what the head guard was saying. "Your grandchild is the baby spoken of in the prophecy," answered the chief guard. The Catastran couple paled even more. Even Halia surprised and looked at Brimo. Even she had no idea what the head guard Alho was referring to. But Brimo just bowed. He began to worry at the thought of his child having a big burden on the world as he grew up. The only thing that hurts for him is that his own daughter is the key to the reign of darkness in the world. "W-What prophecy? Why is there a prophecy?" Marco asked anxiously. "Marco..." Noreo said to Halia's father. "This is the reason why I want you and your whole family to stay here at my place." "Why don't you just straighten me out, Noreo?" Marco stepped forward to face Noreo. "Your child is destined to be bitten by a vampire while she is pregnant Marco," Noreo answered directly. The Catastran couple jaws dropped. Even Halia looked at Noreo and held Brimo tightly. Her eyes went from Noreo to Brimo. Halia's forehead furrowed as she looked at her other half as if she had an idea about the bad revelation. "This is the reason why I want your wedding to be simple. Let's hide it until everything is over," Noreo continued. "W-Why me?" Halia finally spoke again. "A-And what about the prophecy. What that prophecy want from my child?" Noreo faced Halia. Halia just watching Noreo's eyes with a hint of concern. Brimo, on the other hand, held Halia's waist to calm her worries. "Your child is the one referred to in the prophecy as the center of the four lineages," Noreo answered and Halia's eyes immediately widened. "F-Four lineages? Center of the four lineages?" she asked Noreo, couldn't believe it. "The four lineages that will join the person of a baby and it is the lineages of human, werewolf, fairy, and vampire," answered Noreo. "Human? Werewolf, fairy and vampire? But we don't have a vampire race," insisted Marco. Noreo looked at him. "The four races will not be formed in the person of Halia's child if you do not leave here and we will continue to protect you. Because of the time your daughter is bitten by a vampire while she is pregnant, the blood of the vampire will mix with the blood of the baby in her womb and this is a big threat for us." "What will happen to the child if Halia is bitten by a vampire?" asked Karina. "The fate of the world rests on Halia's child. We are not sure where he or she will join. In the light or in the dark? But before that happens, we must take Halia's child away from his or her destiny."
