Chapter 43

Each of them prepared to attack Torth the prince of vampires.
Halia noticed that the Werewolves' eyes were different colors: gold, green, gray, and red. That's probably the basis of their races or ranks in each pack.
When Halia held her magical bow. She immediately pointed it at Torth. Brimo was right next to her, ready to protect her.
But instead of being scared, Torth raised his eyebrows. He looked around at the Werewolves surrounding him.
"I came here because Halia and Brimo are married. But why do you welcome your guest like that?" Torth's philosophy.
"What do you want, Vampire?" Brimo asked in a heavy tune—ready to attack.
But Torth just acted calmly. "I just want to congratulate you because you are finally married to the woman you love. Is that bad, Brimo?"
"You're not invited here. How dare you come here alone. If you have a plan, you'd better just back off."
"Plan?" Torth's eyes wandered to the Werewolves again. His thumb jerked at them. "Among you all and I alone?"
Torth was alone and Brimo sensed that. The only thing they don't understand is why the prince of vampires came on their wedding day.
"You wouldn't show up here alone if you didn't have some evil plan against us!" Halia reasoned. "I'm not stupid enough to ignore your situation and rush into the territory of your enemies alone."
"Like I said, Halia. I just want to congratulate you for starting a life with your husband Brimo," Torth insisted.
But that was not enough for Halia to believe. Her magical bow is still focused on Torth who was just calmly standing between the Aisle.
"Just leave before I change my mind," Noreo threatened.
"Why don't we just kill him, King Alpha?" asked one of the premodial councils.
"We can do that if he insists," Noreo answered.
Torth didn't say a word. He only grinned as if the Werewolves were likely to hurt him.
"Yes, you can! We can let his race out so that he rushes here to carry out their plan," said the head Guardian meaningfully.
Torth seemed stunned by what the head Guardian Alho said. He probably didn't expect that the werewolves already knew what they were up to.
But he recovered in shock after five seconds. "I understood if you didn't trust me," Torth replied as if he was a very nice creature to speak. He even smiled in front of everyone. "But as you can see right now, I'm alone. And we all know that I have no fight even if I use the clone ability."
"Get out at this place, Torth," Brimo said sternly. "If you don't want to, I'll do to you what I did to your twin brother."
Torth stunned, the aura of his face changed. It seems that when he is reminded about his twin brother, his anger flares up.
But it was only for a moment and he raised his forehead again. He just laughed as he stepped back. After a few moments, he suddenly left.
The werewolves reverted to normal human form. She also lowered her magical bow and quickly approached her parents.
She hugged them who were currently shivering. She felt sorry for them, especially her mother who looked pale.
"I-Is that guy a vampire?" asked her father after she broke away from his embrace.
"He won't hurt any of us, Father," she assured in response to his question.
"Are any of the guards hurt?" Noreo asked.
They looked around and no one answered. The others just shook their heads.
"Their prince is too sneaky," spoke the head Guardian. "Alpha King of all packs, I suggested that we should assign an extra guard."
At that suggestion of the head Guardian, Noreo summoned all the Alphas in different packs and the guardians.
Inside the conference room there were five high chairs where the king of the Werewolves Noreo sat in the middle and the four Alphas.
He wears a wide thick sash made of black cloth mixed with four colors: red, gold, green and gray.
To the right of the king of the Werewolves sat Brimo on a chair with the word Premodial engraved on the top.
Noreo is considered the Alpha of the premodials and Brimo is the Alpha Prince but since Noreo is the king of all werewolf lineages, Brimo sits in the position of Alpha of the premodials. He wears a wide thick black sash with gold in the middle as a sign that he is an Alpha of the said pack.
There was also a man sitting in the seat next to Brimo's seat. He doesn't seem to be far from the king of the Werewolves in age. There was also engraved on the top of his chair the name Fenrrisul. He also wears a wide thick sash that is black with a gray color in the middle as a sign that he is the Alpha of the Fenrrisul pack.
On Noreo's left side, there is also a man sitting on a chair with the word Karkaroff engraved on the upper part of the seat and wearing a wide thick black sash with red in the middle as a sign that he is the Alpha of the Karkaroff pack. He is younger than their king. And his aura can be traced to being fierce.
The next seat is where the Tundra's Alpha sits. On the upper part of the seat is engraved the word Tundra and like other Alphas he also wears a wide thick black sash mixed with green in the middle as a sign that he is the Alpha of the tundras.
Their seat was already high but it still rested on the stage which meant the throne of the leaders of the Werewolves.
Below the stage directly in front of the Alphas are rows of chairs left and right. There sat the chief councils of each pack.
Like Alpha, each pack also has a chief guardians or chief guard. Alho is the chief gaurdian of the premodials and he also has a black sash with gold in the middle that has written the word Head guardian.
All of them are old and maybe old enough to be fit in that position.
Halia and her family sat in the row of head Guardians. Uzenio was unable to return home due to Torth's unexpected arrival earlier.
One of the things that worried Halia. Maybe even her friend will be hurt by vampires.
"I am very grateful for your attendance at this meeting," Noreo began to speak.
Everyone bowed in response to their king.
"If you are wondering about the smell of the new luna of the premodial and new princess of our race..." Noreo pointed to Halia where she was sitting.
Her chest automatically pounded because this was the chance that other races of Werewolves would know about her personality.
"She's not like us Werewolves," Noreo admitted.
Karkaroff's Alpha sat up slightly. But out of respect for their king, he sat down again.
"She comes from the line of Damiaw: Half human, half fairy." All the eyes of the Werewolves looked at her. She was forced to stand up because Brimo nodded at her signaling that she had to reveal herself to their race.
Her mother's grip on her hand tightened. Like her, she is also shaking like a leaf. Afraid of the reaction of the Alphas who are in front of them and are sitting on their respective thrones.
"My son's luna, the new owner of the magical bow!"
When Noreo said that, the Alphas and guardians immediately stood up. She gulped and her chest pounded aggressively.
That lasted five seconds and they still didn't raise their heads. "Dear luna, you must go upstairs and stand beside Brimo. To show that you accept being the premodial luna and princess of the entire race," the head Guardian, Alho, spoke to her but in whisper way.
Even though her blood run cold, she chose to step on her feet. She looked at her parents for a moment and shock was also etched on their faces.
Her mother smiled at her. Her father nodded, signaling that she had to follow what the head Guardian said.
She looked at Brimo and he nodded to her, smiling. She continued to walk until she reached the top of the stage.
Noreo ushered his hand to tell her to approach Brimo. Brimo stood up and greeted her. He gave a kiss on her cheek and helped her to sit on his throne.
Now it is Brimo who currently stands and she sits on the throne of the Alpha of the premodial pack.
The Werewolves immediately raised their heads. They stood up and loud applause prevailed all around.
"What is luna?" she asked Brimo in a whisper.
"Alpha's wife," Brimo answered. "My wife. You're my wife."
She smiled when she got the answer from the man she loved. The applause ended and the Werewolves who were in thrones and high positions sat down again.
"Now let's get back to the topic about the prophecy," Noreo spoke again.
Halia's grip on the chair tightened. But Noreo went on, "The luna is pregnant."
The faces of those Werewolves' who didn't know were shocked again.
"This is the reason why I have summoned all of you leaders of each pack because the three races are already in the person of their child: the race of human, fairy and werewolf."
"D-Do you mean..." The Alpha of Fenrrisul looked at her.
"Their child is what the prophecy says," Noreo answered, shocking everyone.
"Disrespectful our dear King. But the child spoken of in the prophecy is a great threat to us all," Karkaroff's Alpha pointed out matter-of-factly.
Her chest pounded erratically. Brimo just held her hand to calm her down.
"The prophecy says four races. There are only three races in the womb of the dear luna," argued the Alpha of the Tundra pack.
"This is the reason why the prince of vampires came here," answered Noreo and everyone remained confused. "Luna is destined to be bitten by a vampire!"
Everyone looked at her unbelievably. Brimo kept holding her hands to ease the fear she felt.
Noreo let out a deep sigh. "We must prevent what the prophecy says. We will not allow the blood of the child in luna's womb to mix with the race of vampires."
The three Alphas looked at each other even the other head Guardian. But the Alpha of the Karkaroff pack spoke again. "Vampires will be more aggressive to fulfill what is in the prophecy dear king," he said and it seems that what he will say is not good based on the tone of his speech. "We have to kill the child in the womb of the Luna!"
