Brimo raised his face when the Alpha of the Karkaroff pack suggested this matter. Even the king surprised by what he said. Something seemed to clog her throat after she heard it. She had not yet recovered from what Karkaroff's Alpha said, he spoke again, "That is the only unique solution to prevent what the prophecy says!" "We are talking about my child here, Alpha Centran!" Brimo protested. There was annoyance in his tune of speaking. "What are you saying, to kill the child?" "Forgive me for my arrogance dear prince but the child in your Luna's womb will be the key to the spread of darkness in the world!" "You can't seem to hear yourself, Alpha Centran!" Brimo's voice rose. "You're threatening my child—" "Dear prince! Only now will I argue with you. This matter is not a simple thing. Our lives are at stake—" "Your blood waisness really exists this time, Alpha Centran!" Brimo pointed at the Alpha of the Karkaroffs. "My child is not yet fully the center of the four lineages! It does not have the blood of the vampire race in his or her vein yet!" "But the vampires will continue to chase the child if we let that alive!" The voice of the Alpha of the Karkaroff pack also rose as if this prince had forgotten who he was talking to. "You'll have to walk over my dead body to do that!" Everyone surprised when Halia rose her feet while speaking. Her eyes stared intently at the Alpha of the Karkaroffs. "No one child will be killed," Noreo interjected heavily to interrupt their conversation. "What we're going to do is protect the baby—" "Our dear king," the Alpha of the Karkaroffs interjected again which caused their king's speech to be interrupted. This is the manner that should not be done especially since Noreo's position is higher compared to him. "How long will we be to prevent with what is destined to happen?" asked Karkaroff. "The prophecy will not be fulfilled if my luna gives birth the child without being bitten by a vampire!" Brimo also interjected to reason. "My son is right! No one child will be killed and we are here to protect the angel that is in the womb of our Luna," explained Noreo. He still trying to calm himself down due to Centran's sudden behavior. "Our king has a point, Alpha Centran," the Alpha of Fenrrisul also interjected calmly. Karkaroff's Alpha remained silent as if accepting defeat in this debate. "We don't need to kill just to stop the prophecy," concluded the Alpha of the Fenrrisuls. Karkaroff's Alpha retreated and returned to a proper sitting position. Halia's fists are currently clenched and she doesn't know how to control her anger. She didn't like any of the conversations, especially when her child's life was threatened. She felt Brimo's hands holding her shoulder. He gently kissed her on the head while her eyes were staring intently at the Alpha of the Karkaroffs. "I would like to assign an additional Zetas to the entire area of werewolves." Noreo spoke again to break the silence. "Their target is on us so we have to be more careful. We will give the luna baby a chance to see the world. We will not do anything bad to the child instead we will protect it." __ "Are you sure you can trust them, Halia?" Uzenio asked worriedly after the meeting of the councils earlier in the conference room. She also saw earlier how much Uzenio was afraid of the rebuttals of the pack councils. And she understood if the tone of his way of asking seemed to doubt the werewolves. She let out a heavy sigh, looked at Uzenio and nodded. "I'm safe from them Uzenio. Don't worry, Brimo is always by my side." "I'm afraid that a group of their ilk might hurt you. And I'm not sure if Brimo can stop it." She stared into Uzenio's eyes. She saw that he concerned about her condition. She decided to smile to remove his fear for her and just trust. "I am in the power of their prince, Zenio." She grabbed his arm and squeezed it to calm him down. "Brimo is the strongest of them all, he has skills that no one else has. Don't be afraid, I'm safe here. I promise, nothing bad will happen to me." "Uzenio..." Their conversation was interrupted when they heard her mother's voice. Together they looked at her approaching. "Are you going home?" asked Karina. Before Uzenio nodded he first looked at Halia. "Maybe Father and Mother are waiting for me." "Be careful." Karina touched his hair. Uzenio nodded in response. "My three Zetas will take you home." Brimo suddenly spoke and was walking towards them. Their eyes turned to him and he was currently looking at Uzenio. "Thank you for attending our wedding party." Uzenio just sighed. "I'm only human and I can't protect Halia," said Uzenio, which was not related to what Brimo said. "I believe in your ability Brimo. I hope you can protect her from all harm." Brimo gave a nod and extended his palm. Uzenio responded and held Brimo's hand as a sign of his trust. "I won't leave her, Uzenio. Be careful when you go home." "Dear prince," a man said to Brimo. In his aura, it seems that his age is not far from Brimo. He is a tall man. He looks clean and she can really say that he is handsome. "Len," Brimo said as if he called the man by name. "By the way, Uzenio..." Brimo faced Uzenio. "He's Len, he's one of my Zetas." "Zeta?" asked Uzenio and even Halia and her mother were waiting for Brimo's answer. "In human they're the police or soldiers— right hand." They nodded at Brimo's explanation. "Len, meet Uzenio, our friend," Brimo introduced Uzenio. "You know your luna, don't you?" Len nodded. "Mother Karina is her mother." Karina smiled at Len. "Please to meet you, Ma'am," Len greeted Karina with a smile and looked at Halia and bowed. "Nice to meet you dear luna." "Don't do that!" Halia laughed as if she lost her fear for a moment. "I'm sorry dear Luna but this is what we're used to," Len answered as he raised his head. They laughed then the other two Zetas arrived. Brimo introduced them to Halia, Karina and Uzenio: Yno and Naivan. "Take care of him," Brimo instructed the Zetas. "We promise dear prince," they bowed in homage. Brimo nodded to Uzenio. "Call us when you get there. Be careful." "Thank you," Uzenio replied and faced Halia. But Halia hugged her friend. "Bye Uzenio." "Bye, Halia!" After Uzenio left, Brimo confronted Halia. But suddenly someone appeared. "I'm sorry for this dear prince!" Brimo straightened up and slit his hand in his pants pocket and faced Centran, the Alpha of the Karkaroff pack. "I don't know why we need to trust that human." Halia didn't like Centran's complaints anymore so it was her turn to face him. "He's my friend, if you have a bad plan to him. I'm the one you can fight against." Brimo gently held her arm. The Alpha of the Karkaroff pack surprised by what she said. "I thought you already left, Alpha Centran?" Brimo asked sarcastically. "I'm just leaving my dear prince," replied Centran, in a calm manner. "You can probably leave without any issues, can't you, Alpha Centran?" The Alpha of the Karkaroff pack sighed. "I understand the heavy talk with me dear prince. I'm sorry if I thought of something to hurt your feelings." "Don't worry, Alpha Centran. I'll forgive quickly. Just worry about the next time you say something and my luna doesn't like it. I wouldn't blame her if she used her magical bow to hurt you."
