The Funeral 34

In the Hotel Room
Felix was sitting and sulking on the single chair in his father's suite when his phone beeped. He concluded that it was a message from Sharon and was excited. Then, he punched in the message and saw the pictures that calmed his nerves, and he cheered up. He walked to his father, who was resting in his room and announced with excitement, “Father, take a look. Felly is with her right now.”
“Wow! The children look alike,” his father pointed out. “Congratulations.”
“Thank you, Father.”
At the Hospital
Now, Felix gave his sister a call immediately and she picked up. “Hello, the latest dad,” Felly greeted cheerfully, and Sharon, who had not looked at her phone, wondered what could be going on.
“Hello, big sister. I appreciate you for this.”
“You are welcome, dear. Kindly speak with her,” she requested and handed over the phone to Sharon who collected it with her left hand. She waited for Felix to speak before she responded.
“Hello, Sharon. How are you?”
“I'm fine… sob.”
“Oh! My baby. Hold on. I will be with you soon.”
“Okay.” She said, and Felly collected the phone from her. She controlled herself, dried her tears, and continued with her food. Then, Felly quickly rounded up the call with her brother.
“All right, Felix. Let me attend to her.”
“Please, do.”
She cut the call and noticed that Sharon had lost her appetite.
“Take a break. You can continue later,” she advised, and Sharon obliged. She attempted to lie back on the bed, but the children would not let her be.
“Aunty Sharon, your baby is tiny,” Terry informed. Sharon smiled and asked, “How old are you, Terry?”
“I'm four years old.”
“Good. How old is the baby?”
Now, there was a pin-drop silence in the ward. The midwife, who just walked in, was interested in his response and waited. Terry looked at his parents who pretended to be busy with their phones but were waiting for his response. When he could not get a clue from them, he turned to Sharon and answered, “Baby is two years old.”
“I'm two years old,” Jerry refuted angrily because he felt that Terry wished to hand over his age to the baby. Everyone laughed cheerfully and Julius looked at Jerry, who sat beside him and teased, “He has given your age to the baby. You better get it back from her.” To their thrill, he got down from the chair and headed towards the cot. Sharon lifted him off the floor and made him sit with her on the bed.
“Terry, come,” she called out. He joined them on the bed at once, and Sharon attempted to lift the baby from the cot, but Felly assisted. She placed the baby on Terry's lap and he was delighted. He ensured that the baby was secured and Sharon continued with her lecture, “Terry, the baby is not two years old. She is less than a day old.”
She paused and looked at the puzzled Terry, and he asked in astonishment, “A day? Was she born today?”
“Yes. And you have to protect her until she is big like you. Did you get it?”
“Yes, Aunty Sharon.”
“That's a good one,” Julius pointed out.
“Yes. Let's take another photograph with the baby on Terry's lap,” Felly declared. After the photograph, she sent it to Felix again. “Kindly send it to me, Aunty Felly,” Sharon requested and looked around for her phone. The midwife handed the phone over to her and she exchanged contacts with Felly. Now, Sharon turned on her phone and observed that she had missed Felix's call and none from Bruno. Then, she noticed Felix's message and read through it.
“I have sent the pictures, Sharon,” Felly hinted.
“Okay. Thank you, Aunty,” she responded without taking her eyes away from the message. After reading the message, she dried her wet eyes, and requested, “Terry, kindly let me have the baby. I want to breastfeed her.” Before she could collect the baby from Terry, the midwife who had prayed for that period, walked up to her and put her in the right sitting posture to have maximum comfort while breastfeeding the baby. To their pleasure, the baby began to suck without being taught. Sharon felt guilty and apologized inwardly to the baby. Felly, who did not know what the act meant to her brother, captured the scene and sent it to him.
In the Hotel Room
After the call with Felly and Sharon, Felix was a bit relieved. He wished to hear Sharon's voice and plead with her to breastfeed the baby but he changed his mind when she broke down in tears. Then, he left his father's room and returned to his room. He took time to watch the pictures over and over again. Likewise, he was delighted when he got the last picture. He sat up from his bed in excitement and exclaimed, “Wow! They are adorable.” While he relished the moment, he got a message from her.
(I apologize, Felix. I just saw your message. I was exhausted after the prolonged labor. Furthermore, I have breastfed our baby as you proposed. Sharon.)
He smiled happily and responded at once.
(Thank you for your understanding. I regret that you have to go through this alone. Be strong for the baby and me. I will make it up to you.)
He laid back on the bed and cast his mind back to the good time they shared, and her attributes that made him consider her to be his wife. Howbeit, he blamed himself for not standing by her when she needed him in the face of opposition.
“I goofed up. I should have fought for what was mine, after all, she had agreed to marry me.”
To his disturbance, his cock was erect and needed to penetrate Sharon.
At the General Manager's Suite
The team got to the hotel after twenty minutes. Silas got down and opened the door. Susan got down and the General Manager got off too, and announced, “We are leaving by 8 AM tomorrow.”
“Oh! Boss. I will plead for noon,” one of them requested.
“Yes, boss. Noon would be fine. We need to rest.”
“I support that, Can we drive around the city to sightsee, boss?”
