He asked and looked into her eyes. She smiled and nodded her head shyly. “I’m glad that I satisfied you, but I’m not satisfied,” he pointed out, and the sex starved Susan, who believed that it was their last, satisfied him and pleasured herself too. The Next Day – At the Village The two families were set to leave for the airport that morning, and Oliver was fifty thousand Naira, richer. “Take this for your help, Oliver,” Evans declared when he handed the cash to him. “Thank you, our in-law. I'm glad to know that you found me helpful. Safe trip.” Oliver appreciated “You're welcome. Uncle Emma and Frank would tell you the next thing to do.” “Okay Sir.” He walked up to George, Lilian, David, and Austin and gave them a parting hug. “I will miss you all,” he lamented. “We shall see you soon,” George pointed out, but Oliver did not take it to heart. At 7:30 AM, they left followed by the police van, leaving two police men behind. Now, the news about their departure was widely spread, especially by the water seekers, who always hung around, and hoped that the inhabitants of the new house would change their minds and unlock the water. Then, they reasoned among themselves, “I will know, what becomes of Oliver.” “Yes. I have waited for this day.” “His mother and sister will deal mercilessly with him for making them to incur the wrath of the elders.” Now, the family had their breakfast and the police were served too. The caterer left after she gathered her things. Nevertheless, the compound was free from too many activities. Soon, Frank arrived and joined the family at Callum's house. At Emma's Compound Before the breakfast, he checked the barn and was delighted to see the bulls again. Afterward, he had his breakfast and Callum joined him in his hut later. “My in-law, how much do you think that a bull would cost?” Uncle Emma inquired, while Dickson looked on. “It depends on the sizes. By the way, why do you ask?” “I wish to get buyers for the bulls in the barn. You can use the money to offset some bills.” “Wow! I wish to have an in-law who is as considerate as you are in my next life. Thank you for your concern. The bulls are yours. You can do whatever you wish to do with them.” “Oh! My God!” Emma, who was excited, exclaimed, and got up from his seat. He walked to Callum, who got up too and received him. He gave him a hug and appreciated, “What will I do without you, my in-laws? I'm really appreciative.” “That is the least we could do. We are proud of you.” Dickson, who was uncertain whether he could do the same for his father-in-law, got up too and gave him a hug. Thereafter, he appreciated, “My great in-law. You are the best. I bless the day you married my cousin. Thank you very much.” “You are welcome. Thank you for giving me a good wife.” Meanwhile, the maid wished to resume her fruit hunting. She sold the idea to Joe, and his siblings, and they all bought it. Nevertheless, Oliver, who had bonded with them, tagged along. Soon, they were in the nearby bush, and they began to pluck cashew, guava, cherry, and mango. “Don't pluck from that tree,” Oliver warned. “Why?” Regan inquired. “It is infested with soldier ants.” “You are right. I have seen some ants,” Joe admitted. However, they continued with their escapades, and avoided the ant permeated tree. Now, the smart and aggrieved Peter was with his friends and colleagues in the bush, too. They were hired to fell a tree in the same bush, but far away from Oliver and his team. Nevertheless, they had been mobilized to do the job, but the pay was not as mouth watering as the money from the money bag, and it was a painful lose to them. Unfortunately for them, they sighted the team, and caused more trouble for themselves. “There are no police men standing by his side. Let's see what he is capable of doing,” Benson hinted with a hate look. “Who are you talking about?” Boniface inquired. “Can't you see the backstabber over there? He denied us the opportunity of benefitting from the money bag.” “You don't have the details of what happened. Do you? It was Peter's fault. He didn't represent us well before the family,” Boniface made clear, and glared at Peter, who was standing beside him. Now, Benson and Manga, who were coerced by Peter into believing that it was Oliver's misconduct that made Frank to pay him off, took another look at him. “How can you say it was my fault? He was eating their food indiscriminately, and they were afraid that he may finish their food and, and, and…” “And what? This is how you cause trouble anywhere you go like your mother,” Manga reproved “It is your mother who is a troublemaker,” Peter blurted. “Peter, you lied to us for selfish interest,” Benson remarked. “Forget about him. Let's do our work and leave here,” Manga advised, and the three walked away. All the same, Peter had two followers, who were still loyal to him. They walked up to Oliver and the children, who were surprised to see him. Nevertheless, Joe and his siblings recognized Peter as the repulsive guard who rejected their food, and were irritated by his presence. Meanwhile, Peter and his two friends had weighed Joe and his siblings and concluded that they were no threat, and could not defend Oliver when they strike. “After all, the city children, who eat processed food and do less work, are not as strong as the village children like us, who eat heavy meals and do difficult tasks as felling trees,” they reasoned among themselves. “Peter, good to see you,” Oliver greeted cheerfully, while Joe and his siblings gave the uninvited youths a hate look. Nevertheless, Peter ignored Oliver's greetings and fooled himself. “You pretender and betrayer. You son of a topper. I want to see how you would defend yourself,” he pointed out with confidence.
