"So let's eat… go shopping… and go to the partyyyyy!" Kurah says while dragging Lolita to the dining room downstairs. The girl was so comfortable around Lolita that one may be misled to think that they've known each other for a long time, or that she's even Lolita's younger sister. "Mmhhm!... Lolly… this shrimp tastes so good… my brother would have loved to taste this… well.. It's his loss!" Kurah suddenly had a fleeting thought about her brother coming around once he heard of her absence from home. "Maybe he'll get to taste this soon enough!" Kurah mouths under her breath. Lolita was rendered speechless by the shamelessness of her friend. She couldn't help asking in jest, "you haven't even moved in yet… and you are already adding more mouths to be fed… tell me… need I reconsider your application!?" Kurah was momentarily confused, then she burst out in brief laughter, "Point of correction... Lolly dearest…I didn't apply for anything… I only informed you" She then swallows her food gracefully and takes a sip of water before continuing tauntingly, "you should be happy to have her imperial highness grace your home… Also… you'll like my brother when you see him… you may even end up offering him other meals I'm not aware of" Kurah then gave Lolita a wink and said, "Wouldn't it be nice to have you as my sister-in-law?" Lolita couldn't contain the dreamy look on Kurah's face. She clicked her cutlery against the plate in a bid to bring her back home. "Come back… would you… who's your sister-in-law?... Does your brother even know you are shamelessly throwing him at random girls?" Kurah was happy to see Lolita engaging her more and more as she continued to interact with her. "Hey Lolly… you and my brother would make a perfect pair… why didn't I think of this earlier?... For your information… My brother has been surrounded by so many hungry she-wolves that it's quite hard to choose… frankly… I feel sorry for him!" Lolita didn't pay much attention to the mention of she-wolves, and neither did Kurah consider that she had already slipped up. Lolita couldn't help asking exasperatedly like she was oblivious to her friend's age, "how old are you?" Kurah gladly responded with "sweet sixteen… just like my sister-in-law.!" Lolita facepalms and asks in a small voice, "Are you even allowed to think this way?... Is your brother aware?" Kurah immediately took a bite of her meal and said "Eat up… the food is getting cold!" Realizing that Lolita was intentionally bringing up her brother, Kurah mouths "such a killjoy" under her breath before she continues her meal like Lolita didn't just threaten her. Having heard her friend's silent outburst, Lolita burst into an extremely beautiful smile that got Kurah thinking she just made the right choice for her brother's mate. All she needed to do was put in a lot of work. Her brother is a block of wood, and if he's not pushed hard enough, he may end up mateless. Kurah wasn't having that. Unknown to Kurah, her brother already has a beauty in his heart, and just couldn't wait to meet up with her soon enough. However, here she was, still thinking of him to be a single man without emotions. The two were almost through with their meal when Kurah suddenly felt the presence of many spies in their midst. At first, she thought the people were after her, but she suddenly realized that their attention and conversation was on none other than her friend. She suddenly spotted Lolita squinting, from the corner of her eye, and Kurah couldn't help wondering who her friend really was. She noticed that Lolita could also feel their presence, which was pretty impressive. It showed that she had something else up her sleeve. Just like Lolita, Kurah also kept wondering what her friend's real identity was. Unsurprisingly, she noticed Lolita tapping twice on the black mamba, which resulted in it disentangling itself from her wrist and moving away. The way Lolita looked at the snake made her feel that her friend was even communicating with the strange animal. She would be damned to believe that the mamba was just a pet snake. The runes on its skin were enough testament. Kurah then enquired from Lolita if she needed her to do anything. Lolita in turn gave her a knowing smile and said with a shake of her head, "Nope… I'll leave it to our young friend" That being said, the two burst out in laughter, as Lolita knew mamba heard what she just said. Lolita is yet to have a talk with mamba about what its real identity is. Kurah's earlier question about the mamba's real identity enlightened her. What better way to have it spilling the beans than spiting it with their comments about its age? Earlier on when Kurah referred to mamba as 'our young friend' Lolita felt the extreme distaste that the snake felt, which only means that the snake may be older than each of them, or even older than both of their ages combined. It's such a ridiculous thought, but she intends to find out later. After the two were done with their meal, Drucilla opted to clear the table, only to return from the kitchen to see the bracelet back on Lolita's wrist. She then says to no one in particular, "Oh... that was fast!" to which the mamba was extremely glad to have been praised. However, only Lolita felt its emotions. Kurah didn't even bother asking about the intruders, as she beckoned Lolita to hurry up so they left for their shopping spree. While in Kurah's car to the mall, she suddenly snatched Lolita's bag and says, "everything is on me" Lolita didn't argue with her, but only stated flatly, "hope you don't regret it" At the shopping mall, Lolita finally realized that she had underestimated the shopping freak before her. Kurah literally emptied the whole shop, but still wasn't satisfied. She selected clothes for school, casual outings, home clothes, and dinner wear among others. Bags, shoes, and jewellery were not left out either. Lolita returned to her house drained, fully regretting her decision to go shopping with Kurah. The girl was a shopping machine, and she made a mental note to avoid anything that had to do with going shopping with her later on. When Lolita looked at the many things Kurah got for her, she couldn't help smiling excitedly, even though she didn't get a single outfit in black. The designs and every other thing about the items made her love it all. It was actually the first time Lolita witnessed someone buying so many branded clothes and jewelry. She has never lacked money, but she never needed so many designer clothes, and in bright colors to boot. Kurah kept spending until Lolita threatened to leave her at the shop. To Lolita's surprise, Kurah left quietly, but not without shopping online for the things she didn't get to pick up at the shop. Clueless Lolita felt her friend was chatting on social media until Kurah exclaimed out loud, "they even have more items online than in the physical shop!... Such a cheat'' After making a trip to Kurah's house where her bags were already packed and waiting, Lolita was more surprised to see that the online items Kurah bought had even been delivered before they got home. ***
