Chapter 32 As You Wish!

"Get the warriors ready!... We leave in fifteen minutes!" Alpha Gavin gives commands to Beta Ortiz. Then he turns to Beta Wesley and says "get the baggage ready!" He then storms off and makes his way toward the departure point.
"My Lord!... We are ready for departure" Wesley informs. Alpha Gavin nodded in approval and declared, "let's go!" A group of fifty wolves left Dark-Dawn Avenue so conspicuously that no one would suspect a thing.

Blue Fiend Pack
"Our walls have been breached… we cannot hold on any longer!" A guard wolf declares. The beta looked at him and asked perplexed, "how long has it been?... Ten minutes?... And our defenses have already been breached?" He then drums his fingers on the armrest of his wooden chair while releasing a heavy and frustrated sigh.
The beta didn't even know he was holding his breath until now. "What did lady Dorothy say?" The head guard looked worriedly at the beta and said, "she tasked us to fight on… anyone who retreats is to be put to death!... We cannot surrender"
"Hahhahahhaah! Will she get the luxury of ever giving anyone a command in the next ten minutes?... Tsk… Tsk… Such a spoiled brat without the slightest sense of time!… Who even put her in command?" Beta Grayson stood to his feet and said, "Let's end this… come with me!" The guard was utterly shocked by his words but quickly followed him to the gates where many pack members of the Blue-fiend Pack were being torn to shreds.
Some had their hearts pierced by arrows laced with something that prevented them from healing. The whole place was chaotic, and the attackers clearly had the upper hand. However, the Blue-Fiend Pack couldn't retaliate in the least. It was as if, someone had intentionally incapacitated them.
Most of their weapons including arrows were being sharpened at the blacksmith's place. Conveniently, a recruit got married the previous day, causing most of the guardian wolves to drink themselves into a stupor. Everything seemed like a well-plotted plan to make them fail even before the war began. If only they knew it was the opponent showing them mercy, they wouldn't be cursing the perpetrators.
The opponents didn't show any mercy to them on the battlefield. So many deaths were recorded on their side within the last ten minutes that the time seemed to be moving slower than usual. Not a single wolf from the opposing side had sustained as much as a scratch till now. However, the Alpha hasn't even made a move yet. How ridiculous!
Beta Grayson looked on for a short fifteen seconds and immediately shifted into his wolf form. The guard thought he was ready to fight the members of the Dark-Dawn Pack to the death, however, his next move shocked him to the core.
Beta Grayson ran to the Pack crier and snatched the special horn from him. Immediately afterward, he howled a familiar, yet unfamiliar sound that caught everyone off guard. Both the members of the Dark-Dawn Pack, as well as the Blue-Fiend Pack looked on with different emotions in their eyes.
Some were crying tears of joy, others were shooting him death glares, and some even had faces filled with confusion. However, beta Grayson didn't pay any attention to a single one of them. He moved through the corpses of the dead wolves, stepping on some, unintentionally crushing others, and running towards the Dark-Dawn Pack camp. He had nothing but a flag with white background and a howling blue wolf in hand; the flag of Blue-Fiend Pack. A symbol of their sovereignty.
Everyone was recovering from the horn of retreat blown by the beta, however, the next thing they saw was how he willingly handed the blue fiend Pack to the enemy. Beta Grayson moves to the Dark-Dawn Pack camp unhindered and lays the flag before the commanding wolf, Beta Ortiz.
His message was clear; the blue fiend pack surrendered to the Dark-Dawn Pack. He would be grateful if the Dark-Dawn Pack would accept their surrender and have mercy on them. The beta also shifted into his wolf form as a sign of respect for Alpha Gavin and the Dark-Dawn Pack.
Behind Beta Ortiz, there stood a group of six guardian wolves who were protecting Alpha Gavin from the sides and back. He stood and watched on without joining the battle, as he was certain the battle didn't require him to take action just yet. However, he didn't wish to have his guardians stand before him, he'd rather have them standing behind him.
Alpha Gavin moved towards Beta Ortiz with Beta Wesley and the other five guardians in tow. As he moved, his strong Alpha aura caused every wolf present to fall to their knees. He also used his aura to probe the whole place in search of any stubborn wolf.
Alpha Gavin stood before Beta Grayson and signaled beta Ortiz to accept the flag, after which he declared, "I declare the Blue-Fiend Council dissolved with immediate effect" Beta Grayson immediately nodded and declared loudly, "as you wish!"
Alpha Gavin then signaled and someone suddenly came forward with a body bag. It is then handed to Beta Grayson who is forced to shift into his human form and receive the package. He couldn't help wondering what the whole show was about, when Alpha Gavin said, "no need to search for your former alpha anymore!"
At that statement, Beta Grayson felt like he was holding a hot potato, yet, he couldn't drop it. He held onto it until the alpha finished his commands and moved away with his entourage. A different group of people then went to position themselves at all the possible exits of the Blue-Fiend Pack. No one was allowed entry, neither was anyone allowed to leave.
No cell phone signal could be detected in the Pack either. The whole of Blue Avenue fell into a state of isolation, and no outsiders could hear from anyone there. Everything just went radio silent and stayed that way until Alpha Gavin's preparations were executed.
"Bastard!... Silly bastard… How dare he kill my brother?... Dark-Dawn Pack must hear it from me… I will not forgive them for this lack of empathy!... Alpha Gavin… Just you wait!"
Lady Dorothy was still fuming and dishing out threats when a man stepped in and commanded her to follow him out. Seeing the person being from the Dark-Dawn Pack, she panicked and feared they may have plans of killing her just like her brother. However, as much as she wanted to resist, she couldn't. She could only follow meekly while seething inside.
"Father… everything is done… yes…I promise… to return with her… so long!" Alpha Gavin ended the phone call with his father en route to Greenville. The hour and thirty-minute-long journey by flight took them four hours on the road. However, he wasn't bothered, as he wouldn't wish to give outsiders the chance to snoop into whatever was happening at Blue Bay Avenue.
Knowing fully well that Kurah wasn't in Wolftown, Beta Ortiz decided to come clean once and for all. He knew Alpha Gavin would definitely find his sister in Smallville. It would be better, to tell the truth now and face the consequences before Alpha finds out on his own later on. That way, the consequences would be direr.
"Ermmm! My Lord… Miss Kurah isn't in Wolftown!" Surprisingly, Alpha Gavin responds with a curt "I know!" The response took Ortiz by surprise, but he needed to continue his speech anyway.
"She's currently in Smallville…in GreenCrest!"
Alpha Gavin quickly opened his shut eyes and Ortiz felt like flying out of the vehicle on his own accord.
