As Lolita sped towards the location she picked up on FaceUp, she unconsciously remembered a response she made to Kurah which got her wondering why Gavin was able to escape her detection on that fateful day. Lolita would have known if Gavin or his people had ulterior motives. However, she noticed none of that in their hearts. As a result, she concluded that Gavin and his people were stronger than her at the moment. It is the only explanation she could come up with, as she wouldn't agree with the fleeting thought that they all succeeded in hiding their deepest feelings from her. It was just too impossible to conceive, as she could even see so deep into people's organs. After all, she just shifted and needed to train further to gain a stronger hold of her abilities before confronting them. She also kept consoling herself with the words, "I'll find him… and roast him myself. I saved him once…it's just a matter of undoing what I did!" Lolita knows her abilities and is certain that she needs to get stronger, even as she searches for the man who ordered the killing of her grandmother and herself. She finally arrived at the spot and alighted from her motorbike. She searched the app once more, but the spot she is currently standing happens to be the only place that keeps blinking. She then scans the area and notices that it must have been the camera of a nearby factory that caught the tense face of Ortiz. Noticing that she wouldn't find anything, Lolita moves to the middle of the road and places her hands on the floor. Suddenly, everything played out to her like a movie. She followed the face of Ortix and noticed that the beta was currently in a vehicle moving closer to the city. Her heart skipped a beat, and she furrowed her brows in deep thought. She couldn't help asking herself if they were there to finish what they started. Lolita decided to take the fight to them. She may be weaker than them as a werewolf, but she's an elf and a vampire as well. In addition to that, she has the element of surprise. She only needs to make use of her strengths to overpower them. Lolita gets onto her bike when all is said and done. She needed to follow the trail and find the car, then she would find Ortiz who would then lead her to Gavin. If she's lucky, he may even be with Ortiz at the moment. She couldn't help the adrenaline rush as she was in a hurry to get closer to the city.
Lolita tried starting the engine when she felt the presence of some rogues. She cursed under her breath, "shit!" and tried to speed off when a bullet was suddenly fired towards her through a silencer. She really wasn't in the mood to waste time on any rogues right now. However, they just didn't know what was good for them. Being a werewolf and a vampire came in handy, as Lolita bent onto her bike, just in time to avoid the bullet. She also smelled something she had never smelled before, after the bullet missed her. Suddenly, the centuries-old memory of the werewolf royal released the answer as if Lolita had known it since time immemorial. She unconsciously mouths the words "wolfsbane" and becomes extremely angry. Someone is out to get her again, and Lolita wouldn't grant them the luxury of succeeding. How did they even know she successfully shifted anyway? She suddenly disappeared from the view of the camera and appeared behind a rogue. Said person was capturing the incident for their boss. When Lolita appeared before him out of nowhere, he attempted to quickly send the video, only for her to grab the phone before he could even get a hold of it. That was the last thing the rogue witnessed before falling into a deep slumber. Lolita repeated the same vanishing act with the next rogue until all five of them were knocked out. They didn't even know what hit them. She then texted the mastermind after searching through the phone in her possession. "You want to meet up so badly? Why don't you show your face? I bet it's as ugly as your dark heart!" She then stuffed the phone into her backpack and left the location, but not without hacking into the cameras and getting rid of any evidence of her presence at the location. Lolita realized rogues had been chasing her frequently in recent days. She might as well warn Kurah about the possibility of the same people coming after her. She sends a text and requests for Kurah to call her when she's done meeting her brother. She thought that they needed to see and discuss certain things relating to their safety. They couldn't be careless about it. Lolita followed the clues left by the car and was finally shocked when she saw the trail leading to Kurah's house. She couldn't help wondering if Alpha Gavin was here to attack Kurah personally. However, her conjecture didn't make sense to her. Why would Alpha Gavin attempt to attack Kurah? The most shocking of all was that he did it in broad daylight. She couldn't see the car in front of Kurah's house, but she needed to see her friend and warn her about everything. There was no sin of Gavin and his people in the house either. Lolita then follows Kurah's cell phone signal and finally breathes a sigh of relief when she discovers that Kurah was in a nearby supermarket. She really felt stupid for being too paranoid just now. She remembers Kurah mentioning that she needed to cook for her brother so that he wouldn't be too angry with her, hoping he becomes extremely calm after tasting her new recipe. That way, she could calm him down and easily talk her way out of the situation. At the supermarket "Hey, stop running… you'll hurt yourself… wait.." A mother could be heard calling after her three-year-old son. The child 'accidentally' bumped into Kurah, who was searching her purse for her credit card. She was so focussed on the purse that she didn't notice the little boy running towards her. Next thing she knew, the boy suddenly bumped into her so hard that she would have concluded that it was deliberate if the boy had been a little older. He has so much strength that Kurah was confused about how a three-year-old human could be so strong. She realized that there was also something about him that she just couldn't place her hands on. Kurah bent down to help the little boy up from the floor when he suddenly gave her a mischievous smile and said in a voice which should never belong to a kid, "no hard feelings!" It was the last thing Kurah heard before inhaling a powdery substance in the boy's hands. Those who watched from afar couldn't even tell that anything was wrong with Kurah. She quickly stood up and tried salvaging the situation, but nothing else registered in her mind before she blacked out. Unknown to her, Kurah fell into the waiting arms of someone who was already waiting to grab her. He smiles apologetically to the crowd and says to no one in particular, "she's my sister!" At that point, Kurah was already bleeding profusely from her nose. However, bleeding from the nose was just the beginning…
