Chapter Thirty Four
"Your body and powers." Master Drake smiled mischievously and Diego moved back.
"No, I won't allow anyone possess my body again." Diego snapped.
Master Drake chuckled and turned to face Jake. "Jake, did the chameleon just snap at me?" He asked.
"Yes, he did." Jake answered.
"Diego, I don't need the permission to enter your body. I will do it anyway." Master Drake said.
"Stay back, I'm not scared of you." Diego moved back.
"Your body is saying something different. I can feel your fear, and it is what makes me stronger." Master Drake said and approached Diego.
"I won't make the same mistake again," Diego said and disappeared.
"Urghh! That cunning chameleon! Get him, Jake. Make sure you don't come back till you have found him." Master Drake ordered.
"As you wish." Jake bowed and disappeared.
Master Drake smirked and rubbed his hands together. "Let me see the so called heiress in person," He said and turned invisible.

"Stop whining, Lily. You only have 13 days left then you'd be back to normal," Stella said in a mocking manner.
"I can't wait for any fvcking 13 days." Lily snapped.
"But there is nothing we can do about it. The spell would do what you sent it to do," Zeeva said.
"I wouldn't have set it for a long time, if I knew it would backfire on me." Lily half yelled.
"But it has and there's nothing we can do about it. It doesn't have an antidote. All we can do is wait for it to wear off," Stella said.
Lily groaned. "I will make sure Cassie pays for doing this to me."
"Obviously, you did this to yourself." Stella rolled her eyes.
"Can you stop being sharp-tongued at times?" Zeeva asked.
"I can't help it," Stella said.
"I'm aiming for you next, Stella. You better try not to get on my bad side." Lily warned.
"The poison should have paralyzed your mouth as well." Stella chuckled.
"You!" Lily yelled but Stella was gone.

Queen Lucinda frowned after Crystal delivered the news to her.
"You mean, it backfired?" She asked.
"Yes, my Queen." Crystal answered.
Queen Lucinda sprung up from her seat and held her Sceptre firmly.
"I warned Lily to be careful and calculative but the girl wouldn't listen to me. And as for that Cassie of a girl, she won't go unpunished." Queen Lucinda huffed.
"What do you want us to do to her?" Crystal asked.
"Leave her to me. Just take care of her guardian." Queen Lucinda chuckled.
"As you wish, my Queen." She bowed.
"You may leave," Queen Lucinda said.
Crystal bowed and left.

Diego was able to slip away from Jake and entered the class room. He quickly went to his seat and picked up his school bag.
"Are you going somewhere?" Kash asked.
"I want to leave school for a while." Diego answered and left the class but Kash followed him.
After Kash left, Crystal entered the class and went to sit beside Cassie.
"What are you doing here?" Cassie asked.
"This is my seat." Crystal answered.
"Oh, yeah. I forgot and I also forgot that you gave me this seat. Let me leave it for you, I'm sure you'll find a person like yourself to replace me," Cassie said and was about to stand up but Crystal held her.
"Cassie please, you're getting me wrong here." She said.
"How? If I may ask. That you lied to me?" Cassie asked.
"I never lied to you." Crystal defended.
"You were a witch but you didn't tell me. On my first day of school, when I didn't know what was happening to me, you did but you refused to tell me. Because you want to use me too, right?" Cassie asked in a way people won't hear them.
"No. You have to believe me. I didn't know how you would take it and I wasn't sure the kind of supernatural you were then. I wanted to tell you, I never wanted to use you." Crystal said.
"But you were with Lily who is always plotting against me." Cassie said.
"That's because I am her servant. I'm only a maid to her mother. I wasn't aware of her plots, Cassie. I don't want you to get hurt. You're the only friend I've made, since I got here." Crystal said as tears rolled down her cheeks.
"I'm the only friend? What about Lily?" Cassie asked.
.
"Diego, wait!" Kash blocked his path.
"What is it?" Diego asked impatiently.
"You look nervous and scared. Are you alright?" Kash asked.
"I'm fine. I just wanna get out of here." Diego answered.
Kash looked into Diego's eyes.
"What are you doing?" Diego asked.
"Looking into your eyes to see what you are scared of." Kash answered.
Diego scoffed. "You aren't my guardian, so you can't do that."
"Have you forgotten that there is water in your eyes?" Kash asked.
"So?"
"Imagine what a prince of the water can do," Kash said and Diego gasped. "As far as your eyes aren't dry, I can get my answers. I don't need to be your guardian to know that."
Diego tried to close his eyes but it was too late. "Why are you interested in my business?" Diego asked.
"Because, you are a suffering supernatural." Kash answered and Diego gasped.
"How did you_"
"Your eyes, Diego. I understand what you are going through but you can't keep running. You have to show them that you won't allow your powers to get exploited." Kash said.
"I am not strong enough." Diego bent his head.
"If you know the kind of powers you possess, you won't be saying this right now. All you need is courage to boost it up. If you aren't strong enough, then why do you think the witches and demons want to use your body?" Kash asked.
"I don't know. Why?" Diego asked.
"Because, you can do what they can only dream of doing. Who wouldn't want to be a chameleon that blends into anything?" Kash chuckled.
"Then, can you teach me how to become strong? I have a lot of deaths to avenge for." Diego said as a deadly glint appeared in his eyes.
.
"Lily? Lily isn't my friend. She treats me like a maid that I am." Crystal sniffed.
Cassie sighed. Should she believe Crystal or not? She looked at how Crystal was crying and sat down.
"What's going on here?" Kash asked as he entered with Diego, who went straight to his seat.
Crystal cursed under her breath. Just when she thought she had succeeded, Kash came in to ruin everything. She exhaled and raised her head up, leaving the tears in her eyes.
"I came to apologize to Cassie and also to clear a misunderstanding." Crystal said.
"What misunderstanding is that?" Kash asked.
"About me being a witch." Crystal answered, trying to stop herself from attacking Kash.
"Oh, okay." Kash smirked which made her shudder.
He smiled at Cassie and went to sit beside Diego. Crystal was shocked since Kash didn't probe further. Maybe he didn't notice or he was not concentrating. She smiled victoriously while Kash watched her closely.
"Aren't you going to stop her?" Diego whispered to Kash.
"Not yet. She wants to have fun, so let's allow her have it. Cassie would deal with her by herself. It can also be a good training process for Cassie as well." Kash answered.
"Wow!"
"So, we're good, right?" Crystal asked.
"I haven't said that we are good yet but you can sit down with me," Cassie said.
When Kash was asking Crystal questions, she had felt something weird as she watched Crystal. Also, Kash winked at her before he left, meaning that it was a sign for her to becareful.
"It means you haven't forgiven me." Crystal pouted.
"I want to find you worthy of my forgiveness first," Cassie said.
Lily was taken aback by Cassie's sudden statement but she didn't show her reaction. She just smiled and rested her head on the desk.
Cassie smirked and turned to look at Kash who gave her a thumbs up.
The students sat up as thier Math teacher walked into the class. They greeted him and brought out their booklets then got ready for the class. They comported themselves because Mr. Miller was a no nonsense man and no one would like to get into trouble with him.
Master Drake appeared in the classroom. Kash and Diego were the first to see him.
"What is he doing here?" Kash asked.
"He is here for me." Diego answered as fear seized him immediately.
Kash looked at Drake and saw that he was looking at Cassie whose attention was on the Math teacher.
"Cassie, look up." Kash whispered.
Crystal saw him but pretended not to. Cassie heard Kash's voice and looked up. Immediately their eyes met, she gasped, drawing the attention of everyone in the class, including the Math teacher.
"Cassandra, are you okay?" Mr. Miller asked.
Master Drake looked at Kash, chuckled and disappeared.

Jake appeared to Master Drake.
"I'm sorry, Master Drake. I lost the boy," Jake said.
"I know. I saw him in the damn class!" Master Drake clenched his fists.
"I also found something," Jake said.
"What's that?" Master Drake asked.
"I found Mia and Ian. They've been stuck in a time loop!"Download Novelah App
