Chapter Forty Seven

"Let's see how Kash defeats another version of Kash then." He said with a mischievous smile on his face.
"Kash, becareful!" Aunt Maggie yelled. She knew how powerful Kash was and if Drake had turned to Kash then he must have the same powers with Kash which makes it dangerous for Kash.
Kash looked at Aung Maggie and smiled. "There is still time to back out!" Kash said.
"Sorry but backing out is for cowards." He said and lunged at Kash with his sword but Kash blocked it with his.
"No more talking!" Kash shouted and threw a punch that sent Drake flying away. The fight was intense. Drake was very fast and agile. If Kash wasn't being attacked by himself, then he would've defeated Drake in just one hit.
Aunt Maggie sighed worriedly as she watched the two Kash's fight. Drake's speed was so quick that even with all Kash's power it would take him an hour before he could catch up with him. Kash wondered why this fake version of him looked stronger or was Drake combining their powers together?
Kash quickly took out his staff and made lightning appear between his hands. He pointed the staff at Drake who seemed shocked that lightning came from Kash's staff without him noticing. He didn't know about this power. He tried to copy Kash and when he couldn't, he disappeared and appeared behind Kash.
"Nice try!" He sneered, making Kash jump back. Drake used this opportunity to throw another punch but once again Kash blocked it. It hurt but since it was a fake and not real, the attack wasn't strong enough to cause any serious damage.
The battle continued with both of them going after each other with every strike and blocking it. As soon as Drake thought that he could get the upper hand he changed into his normal self.
"Now, we're getting somewhere." Kash smirked.
"I will destroy you and bring revenge on everyone who dare stand against me!" Drake yelled.
"We'll see about that!" Kash brought out the staff and struck Drake with the lightning, which sent Drake flying to the floor.
"Okay. Let's see how you stop this!" He yelled, turning to Kash again. This time, he joined his powers and that of Diego to that of Kash then used it to form a ball.
"Kash, please becareful!" Aunt Maggie exclaimed.
"He is using Diego's body!" Zaire said.
Kash breathe heavily. He looked at the ball in Drake's hands and thought of a way to stop all these.
"It's time to say, goodbye lover boy!" Drake smirked.
"Lover boy? Is that all you've got?" Kash scoffed, putting in his staff and swinging his sword.
"What do you think?" He asked.
"Get out of Diego's body and go to hèll. That's where you're supposed to be, not here." Kash snapped at him.
"I would love to get your powers before I end you all here. I could spare Maggie, if she agrees to go out with me." He smiled.
Aunt Maggie scoffed. "Keep dreaming, you lizard!" She yelled and he rolled his eyes.
"As I was saying, I found something of Diego's but I don't think I would be telling you what it means, do I?" He asked.
"Leave while I'm still being nice." Kash gripped his sword tight.
No!" He threw the ball he had made but Kash dodged. "You're a good warrior. Too bad the world wouldn't be able to remember your deeds. They can only remember your death and how I killed you." He laughed.
Kash rushed to him but he grabbed Kash by the neck and threw him to the shelf in the room. Kash hit his back on the hard shelf and fell to the floor with a thud.
"Kash!" Aunt Maggie and Zaire struggled to free themselves.
Meanwhile...
Cassie, who was sleeping sprung up from the bed and looked around. She couldn't find Kash and the feeling she was having made her feel like he was in danger.
"Kash! Kash! Kash!" She called, walking around the house.
She went to the kitchen but he wasn't there. "Where could he be?" She muttered. She even went as far as going to the bathroom to look for him but couldn't find him. "He promised not to leave me." She sniffed.
He would always appear whenever she called but this time was different. He didn't come to her. What could have happened to him? She rushed to her room and started putting on her clothes. Maybe the book in the library would show her where Kash was.
****
Kash stood up and swung his sword.
"No one has thrown me to the floor all these years. That's a first for you." Kash smiled.
"Less talk, more action!" Drake yelled and brought out Kash's water powers. "Your powers are very useful you know." He smirked.
Kash scoffed and brought out his water powers too. Drake made a water ball with his hands and threw it at Kash but Kash destroyed it with his own.
Drake growled and started throwing the water balls at Kash, who dodged at a fast pace. In a blink of an eye, Kash turned invisible. Drake looked around but couldn't find him. He tried to turn invisible as well but he couldn't. He got confused; isn't he supposed to have all of Kash's powers if he turned to Kash?
"I know what is going on in your mind now," Kash said.
"Stop being a coward and show yourself right now!" Drake yelled, looking around.
"You would have turned invisible if you were Kash but you can't and you know why?" Kash asked.
Drake looked around but still couldn't see him. It was annoying him seriously.
"You can't turn invisible because you turned to Kash but you didn't turn into a water god." Kash said and Drake gasped.
That was when he realized that Kash was a water god and only looked the way he did as a form of disguise. He needed to get out of here if he didn't want to get killed by the real Kash.
While he was deep in thought, he saw something like a blade flying towards him. He couldn't dodge in time and the blade grazed his skin.
"If you aren't a coward, show yourself and let's fight man to man." Drake yelled.
"Sure." Kash appeared before him. Drake gasped at the magnificent person before him. If this was a woman, he would have fallen in love immediately and forgotten about the fight.
Kash looked so radiant and dazzling. His glowy blue hair rested on his shoulders. His well chiseled jaw made him look hotter than a greek god. His lips which were pink before had turned red and he looked breath taking. Drake's mouth dropped open.
"What? Are you surprised?" Kash smirked.
Drake moved back and Kash followed. He threw a water ball at Kash but It went through him like he was nothing. His powers seemed to be like nothing when Kash was in that form.
"Stay back. Do not make me use my secret weapon on you." Drake warned, still walking back.
"I don't have time for chats so let's just end this!" Kash formed a ball in his hands and was about to throw it at Drake and end all these but something happened. Drake turned to Diego, and smirked.
"You can hurt Drake as much as you want but can you hurt your precious Diego?" He asked and smirked.
Kash made the ball disappear from his hands.
"Diego, snap out of it!" Kash ordered.
"Are you talking to me?" He asked, with a huge smirk on his face, seeing that he had given Kash no choice.
"I don't want to hurt you, Diego." Kash said.
He knew that even though Drake was in Diego's body, if he should try to hit or hurt him, he would be hurting the real Diego and that was what he didn't want to happen. Diego was innocent and didn't deserve all these. He was only a child of circumstances, who couldn't leave a normal and peaceful life as a result of his past. If it was a fake Diego, he wouldn't hesitate to take him down.
"But I want to hurt you." He said and rushed to Kash but he went through Kash like he had gone through a wall. "What!" He exclaimed in shock
"Do you think I'll just stand and allow you attack me because I don't want to hurt you? You still have better things to do, Diego. Snap out of there and do what you have always wanted!" Kash snapped.
"Not a chance!" He snapped, lunging at Kash again but Kash dodged. "If you aren't going to let me hurt you, then I would use the secret weapon I've been keeping. Diego did a wonderful job by writing something about it." He said and smirked evily.
"What is he talking about?" Aunt Maggie whispered to Zaire but he shook his head, signifying that he didn't know.
"It was a power given to him by his mother at the verge of her death. This power can render any supernatural powerless be it a god or an Irish." He said.
"What are you babbling about?" Kash asked.
"Why don't I show you?" He smirked and a dark fog covered the room, making everyone cough. Kash couldn't see anything but felt a hand on his shoulders, making him freeze.
Cassie appeared in the library but all she could see was the dark fog covering the whole place.
"Kash!" She called.
"Cassie, go back!" He shouted back.
Drake smirked and suddenly, a light sparked. All Cassie could see through the light was Kash on his knees and Diego, sucking in Kash's powers.
"No!" She yelled and ran to him but a force pushed her back. "Kash, do something!" Cassie yelled.
The water holding Aunt Maggie and Zaire disappeared and they rushed to help him but was knocked back by the force too.
"Kash!" Cassie yelled.
They couldn't do anything as they watched Kash once glowing hair turn to a shade of black. When Diego had finished sucking in Kash's powers, Kash fell to the floor and the forcefield disappeared. Tears rolled down Cassie's cheeks as she watched the scene before her. Diego turned to her with a devilish smile on his face.
She looked at him with eyes of rage and fury. Her gaze was so fierce, he could see the fire in her eyes.
"I'll make you pay!" She yelled and her hair turned red.
"Cassie!" Aunt Maggie gasped.
"I'll kill anyone that dares to stop me!" Diego snarled, facing her.
Cassie glared at him, fire surrounding her. "Today is your end, Drake!"
