Vin has also warned him to be careful of what he thinks about when he is with his wife. He saw that he exaggerated because all the things he was saying seems to be fictional but he didn't ignore his words. "Are you alright baby?" He asked Lexie when she shifted uncomfortably. Lexie looked at him. She wondered why he asked such question. "Yes I am" she nodded and moved closer to him. Just like the others, none could hear Kyle's thought aside his wife. His thought that there was something unusual about her skin but he couldn't place it. He then thought it was his imagination. His thought scared Lexie a bit. "What do you expect? You sleep in his arms most nights" she thought and she tried to move away from him a bit to reduce the body contact. Vin was glad that his eyes begin to show excitement when he saw the bubbles landing on the Devikings. He gave Dean a 'you are so done for' devilish smile. Yet Dean wasn't moved neither did his look change. The room was filled with merrying and song was played. Paul couldn't take his eye off the sculpture. Vin on the other hand looked at his wristwatch and begin to do a countdown with his finger. "Five - four - three - two - one". Just as he finished counting he expected loud scream from the Devikings but to his utmost shock such thing didn't happen. They were still talking to those who were before them as usual neither did any of them have a discomfort. They didn't even spare him a glance. Vin looked at his wristwatch again to confirm if his timing was right and it was. He then looked at his personal assistant who was as puzzled as he is. "What the heck is going on?" He whispered in ire. His anger was beginning to build. All the wanted to see was the discomfort and disgrace of the Devikings. "Sir I don't know" he replied panicking. The guy was beginning to get scared knowing whom his boss is. They will be in trouble if this thing fails. "What do you mean by that annoying statement 'you don't know'?" He asked gritting his teeth. His eyes did not leave Dean who was nodding at what someone was telling him. Even though he wasn't smiling, Vin still hated the look on his face. He sensed mockery in it. His personal assistant didn't know what to say. He just bowed his head in ignominy. "Did you make sure the brom was added?" He asked still with his eyes fixed on Dean. He didn't want to make a scene knowing that he was the one that paid and invited too many reporters to cover the show. He must not disgrace himself nationwide. His voice showed anger but he hid his panick well. "You added it yourself sir" the personal assistant reminded him. Vin fixed his gaze on them. He was so confused and impatient at how they were not affected. He then decided to move closer to Dean who seem to be nearer to see if he was really fine. This time Paul already left the sculpture and went to appreciate Dean for coming. As he does this, Dean saw Vin approaching them. He then smiled. Paul thought it was so rare to see Dean display his smiles so he looked back to see who it was that made him smile and it turned out to be Vin. He then thought that it was a friendly and approving smile. "I didn't know that that boy has such a warm heart" he said with a smile. Dean didn't reply he just went back to his former look. What Paul didn't know was that a cold war was going on between those two secretly. "Dean!" Vin called. Dean hated the way he called his name as if they were acquaintance. None dared to call his first name except those he permitted. He wished he could kill the boy but his father wouldn't let him. His father told him that it would be ungrateful of them to do such. If it was meant for the rest, they would have executed him a long while been that he is also a bad guy. Dean didn't dim it fit to reply him. He just looked at him. "Are you feeling alright?" He asked with a scrutinizing look. Dean knew what he came to confirm and he was glad he's been disappointed. "Shouldn't I?" Dean's voice was so plain and cold. Paul wondered why the two that seems to be smiling at each other now were giving hostile tones at each other. Although they were not shouting or displaying the hostility, it could still be detected in their voice. He was so confused that he didn't even know what to do or say. Vin laughed a laugh that didn't even reach his eyes. "Actually, what I mean to say is that are you enjoying the party?" He said with enthuse. Dean snorted.
