Chapter 5 Front Door Welcomed

"L-... Locals! Yes, the residents around here how are the conditions?"
Well, then people in black suits and fashionable costumes were shocked. That since they came, there had been no noise due to casualties, even those who witnessed the process of forming the Monster Gate were in good condition.
Dadan immediately approached the closest resident and was old enough to be able to explain the situation before they came. That person was one who had previously dared to approach the Monster Gate just to satisfy his curiosity.
"Excuse me Sir, I want to ask you a few things..."
...
The day was approaching morning, finally the two of them had arrived in front of Alina's house. At the door of the house, someone seemed to be asleep just to wait for her return.
Before Alina woke her up, the woman woke up first and without further ado immediately ran and hugged her tightly. It's strange or rather amazing, people who just woke up can immediately act like that.
"Alina, where have you been dear? Mom was really worried..."
That woman is Alina's mother. A mother's love really makes her act like that. She couldn't imagine how worried she was for her daughter who didn't come home until after midnight. She didn't scold her, instead tears streamed down her face because he was too worried for Alina's safety.
"Sorry Ma, there was a problem when I got home. Then, this Kind-Hearted Man came to help me..." Alina smiled and both had tears in her eyes, both touched and guilty about what had happened. Then, she pointed at Nathan who was behind him.
"Eh? There's a guest, apparently..." After hugging Alina, the woman wiped her tears. There was no way, she was serving guests in the same condition as before, even though Nathan had already seen him. "Let's go in first. And honey, you go to sleep soon..."
"Is it okay? Maybe, I came at the wrong time. Madam must be tired after waiting for Miss Alina all night..." Nathan could feel how tired the middle-aged woman was, so he said that. He could tell, because the blood flow in the woman's body seemed slow and put high pressure on the veins.
"No problem. It's very late at night, I don't think you're from here around..." The woman smiled kindly, her tiredness she could hide so well. Although, the fact that her face had small wrinkles.
"Okay. I think Madam is right..." Nathan agreed without further comment. He felt, only by visiting first can make Alina's mother rest faster.
While in the living room, Nathan was offered a bedroom for him to rest, but actually he didn't need rest or sleep. "Why don't you just sleep, Madame?" he asked in surprise.
Nathan saw no sign of the middle-aged woman getting up from the chair in the middle of the room.
"Does not seem? Seeing as the time shows that the sun will soon rise, it would be bad if his mother woke up late too, right?"
Nathan smiled gently at the toughness of an ordinary human like her, to the point that she was willing to sacrifice her tired mentality to stay awake. He sighed, between the daughter and her mother made him quite amazed. As a Vampire Lord, it was easy to understand one's condition.
"Madam better sleep, rest your body. When Madam is sick, who will worry later? Let me wake the madam when the time comes," Nathan said, impressed.
"You are right. But, guest is king, I feel uncomfortable to-"
"It's okay, madam, calm down. I won't wake Madam for free, because instead, Madam should really take a rest..." Nathan cut the middle-aged woman's words as he continued to reassure her and smiled gently.
"A-alright. But, it's really okay, isn't it?" Alina's mother really felt bad about letting her guest sit alone with just a few snacks on the table.
Finally, the woman was honest with her own body. Her facial expression changed drastically, it was clear that her face looked very tired with the wrinkles on some parts of her face becoming increasingly clear.
"Yes madam, please rest in peace..."
In such solitude, waiting for dawn to arrive did not seem so long. Nathan didn't move from his seat since he started sitting on the chair and coaxed Alina's mother to rest. Even though his eyes were closed, he wasn't sleeping. He just wrestled in the silence as he always had.
As the sunlight began to enter the window panes and the soft light shone part of Nathan's face, his eyes slowly opened. "Could it be that the time has come?" he muttered, then he looked up at the rising sun.
"Hm... Vampires only drink blood, werewolves eat raw meat, whereas myself usually only drinks tea. Then, what does this human eat, huh?" Nathan actually had no intention of waking up Alina or her mother, let them get enough rest. Then, he would serve food to the two. His plans were stuck as he thought about the type of food that needed to be served. "Or..."
Someone was coming down from the second floor when Nathan was about to decide to wake Alina's mother. And, the person in question just came down.
"Madam has woken up apparently..." Nathan greeted.
"Ouch, what have I done, to treat a guest like this instead?" Alina's mother looks guilty. She who was about to bow was immediately stopped, because Nathan touched her shoulder.
"It's okay, madam. After all, it was I who asked Madam to rest..."
The middle-aged woman did not know how many times she expressed her regret, because last night she was too stressed and felt tired. Thus, being offered a break after learning that her daughter had returned home, she had a hard time turning it down. Then, she began to introduce herself as Aisyah Nurrohmah and only said her thanks at this time, because last night she forgot to say it.
"Just a moment, I want to prepare food for breakfast later..."
"May I help you, madam?"
One more person immediately joined after smelling the aroma of Aisyah's cooking. Alina looks messy, but her sweet face is still superior. Even though it was obvious, there were traces of island making stuck to her cheeks, as if she hadn't been to the bathroom at all.
"Ish... Honey, wash your face first. Don't you feel so shy. Look! There's a guest, a handsome boy you know..."
"Huh...? A boy?"
Alina seems to be still half awake, her eyes that are still not fully opened yet can't see the surroundings clearly. What's more, she didn't remember what happened last night and she didn't know that Nathan was staying at his house.
"You really look a mess, Miss Alina. However, your beauty as a young girl really hasn't diminished in the slightest..."
Well, only after hearing a voice that was quite familiar in her ears recently made her startled and her eyes became literate instantly. Then, Alina tried to turn to the direction where the voice came from slowly and hopefully she heard wrong and thought that it was just a hallucination or she was still dreaming.
However, a pair of dark red eyes were now looking at her and smiling gently at her. Alina couldn't help but smile awkwardly before a more obvious blush colored her cheeks. She immediately walked away just like that while her hands covered her face, she was too embarrassed to open it.
"Hmm...?"
Nathan just looked at the slender back with one eyebrow raised, because he was confused about what had just happened.
"Did I say something wrong?" muttered Nathan.
Aisyah chuckled slightly seeing the behavior of the only girl blushing, she knew that. What's more, Nathan looked innocent in his ignorance that for a girl it was a disgrace that was very embarrassing when someone of the opposite sex saw that she was still a mess after waking up.
Nathan was even more confused when he saw Aisyah chuckling.
