The meeting .
Micheal parked his car in the parking lot . He got out of the car and the secretary did the same . He was suprised to see the huge building as EME corporation .
Although he wasn't expecting anything small or medium . But he hasn't thought that the EME corporation would be this huge , beautiful and enormous .
He walked briskly to the elevator , with his hand in his pocket and his face stern . Stern ??
Was just a pretty way to say it . His face was cold and emotionless .
He wanted to be done with this and get going . That Nancy of a girl mustn't meet him here in Canada .
She was always pretending , as if she had his best interest in mind . But Micheal could see right through her facade . She was hitting on him and he could swear to God that she'll keep failing .
One of these days he'll lay it out for her and he'll set the boundary . All her shit was getting annoying right now . She was always giggling like a fool and acting entitled to him .
It's not new thing in Italy for one to marry their cousins . But that could only happen over his dead body . He couldn't let that happen .
Alicia was also aware of Nancy's tactic , and Micheal couldn't be sure if his mother was in support of if she opposes it . Even if she's in support of it , he wasn't ready yet to let anybody take Emily's position in his heart . And if at all he's ready to fall in love it could never be Nancy .

He stopped thinking about all those as he has more important thing to do right now . And that was to discuss the terms and conditions for the investment .
He was met by three of their staff that cans to welcome him , all smiling and bowing .
"Good morning Mr Gerald . We're pleased to meet you . I'm Mariah . " A young lady in her early twenties greeted him and stretched out her hand for a shake . He gave a smile and shook her slender hands softly .
"I'm Micheal Gerald . Nice to meet you guys . Let's go shall we ?? . " He asked them to lead the way . He has put on his business like mask. Which consist of a polite smile and soft eyes.
Soft eyes his ass .
They got to the meeting room and he sat down . They all sat down and the materials was already placed on the table .
Great . He loved people who are meticulous and timely .
He checked his wristwatch and it was 2 minutes to 10 . Maybe that was why their CEO wasn't here yet .
The meeting room door opened revealing a woman with a short green gown and a black glasses . She looked so young but yet elegant and commanding .
If he was suprised , he did a good job of masking it . God damn it !!
It was the woman of yesterday . His heart begin to pound uncontrollably . He almost jump from his seat to hug her and kissed that mouth of hers that was coated with dark red lipstick .
"Hi Mr Gerald. My name is Jennie . And I'm the CEO of EME corporation . I'm very pleased to meet you . " She removed her sun glasses and his mouth went instantly Dry . This woman was terribly familiar . From the way she talks down to the way she carry herself .
"Ahh yes . Let's begin shall we ?? ." He told her , sounding more harsh than he meant to .
Suddenly something caught his eyes. It was tiny tattoo underneath her ear .
It was the same letters as his intials . MG
Was he reading too much meaning into what he wasn't supposed to ??
Another tattoo was there . Barely visible under her blond hair that was covering it .
It was written there " E Z G "
What are those mysterious letters ??
He tried hard to think about it but his mind kept bugging him . He stared hard at that woman . That woman that has him under a trance since yesterday when he had met her at the restaurant .
Even though she was crying , she still looked gorgeous as ever .
His eyes caught a little movement from her . She was shifting quite uncomfortable in her seat and she was sweating a little bit . He wouldn't have noticed if he had not stared at her long enough .
But he caught it. Despite appearing cool and calm on the outside , he could see that she was fiddling on the Inside .
He nodded to himself after the discovery , he'll be sure to tell his secretary to do some deep checking on her .
He was pulled back into the reality when one of the guy that was presenting ask him a question .
"Mr Gerald . What do you think ?? " The man asked him and waited for his answer with quite some eagerness .
"Excuse me ,what ?? . " He raised his eyebrows in inquiry .
The staff laughed nervously before asking his question .
"I asked what you think of opening branch office in different countries . Newland for example"
"I see ... . It's no big deal for a new company in business to desire expansion of their business . But I'll say you not rush into that . How about you start in country that's close to yours ? " He posed the question and look at their CEO for explanation .
"Since Mr Gerald has been in this field for a longer time we'll surely take your advice . " Emily smiled at him
The meeting continued with him spacing out almost throughout the time . It was his secretary who was answering most of the questions and he was simply nodding to whatever they were saying .
The young lady whose name was Mariah if he could remember clearly , stood up from her seat and went to the CEO to tell her something . She whispered something into her ears and she nodded in understanding .
The lady bowed and apologized for intruding them before opening the door and moving out of the meeting room .
After an hour or so , he wasn't even keeping track of the time as he was deeply lost in his thoughts .
"We'll end the meeting here . I believe me Gerald is satisfied with the terms and conditions of the investment ?? . " Emily titled her head gently as she posed the question to Micheal .
"Yes yes . Everything is okay . Our next meeting will be to finalize the contract . When do you suggest we meet again ""
"How about we discuss it over dinner sometime ?? " Micheal asked with a hopeful look on his face .
He couldn't continue to pretend like he isn't interested .
"If you'll excuse us ?? . " The staffs stood up and left gently . Leaving only Micheal and Emily in the meeting room .
"Alright Mr Gerald . As you wish . " Emily stood up from the chair and wanting to move out of the room . She wasn't feeling comfortable with only Micheal and her in the room .
She feel like her mask is coming off .
She gasped when she almost bump into his muscled chest . If quickly gained her composure and glared a little at him .
"If you'll please ? " She pointed her chin at the door which Micheal was currently blocking with his huge chest and broad shoulders .
"Who ...are ...you ?? . " He asked in a husky voice making Emily's body react in a delicious way .
"What do you ...mean ?? . " She asked with a nervous chuckle .
Another small gasp left her mouth when Micheal lifted her face gently and angled her face .
She took a deep intake of air from her mouth , because it seems like she couldn't quite breath with her nose again .
He caressed her face with his thumb ,tracing his thumb gently on her lips and her mouth instantly went dry .

The tension between them was so great that Emily could certainly cut it with a rope or a scissors .
She wasn't even thinking well . No ,she couldn't think we'll .
Her eyes closed voluntarily when she saw his mouth moving closer to hers . She couldn't be doing this , her mind bogged her
Her brain told her to stop but her body wanted this . Heat was quick to pool beneath her thighs .
His hot breath fanned her face as his face inches closer and dangerously closer .
Suddenly , the door opened startling her out of her wits and she almost tripped if not for the timely interference of Micheal who quickly caught her safely between his arms .
"Are you okay ?? . " He asked in a concerned and gentle voice .
Zeke and Mariah came in looking suprised . Emily wondered what they were so suprised about before it dawned on her .
Micheal's hand was still wrapped around her waist and they were so close !! .
She quickly moved away and chuckled awkwardly .
"Baby !! You're back !! . " She cooped Zeke up in a warm hug .
"Yes Mom . I missed you . " Zeke pecked his mom cheeks and Micheal stared at the two of them with so much longing and admiration .
Or so did Mariah noticed.
What is going on between Jennie and this devilishly handsome and rich guy . Mr Gerald
She heard a lot about him but the tension between Jennie and him is too much and quite suspicious .
Mariah smiled to herself and she was feeling happy ! Yes!!! She's totally shipping them
They looked so good together .
"Huh ?? It's the Mr from yesterday . " Zeke pointed to Micheal and smiled .
Micheal smiled back at him and stretched out his hand for a shake .
"Hi little man . How are you ?? . " He shook his hand and seemingly doesn't want to let go .
"I'm fine Mr ...." Zeke looked up brightly at the man . Smiling with his eyes crinkling at him .
"Mr Gerald . Or you can just call me Micheal . " He crouched down to his level and they both stared at each other
Mariah's eyes widened and shock passed on her face . The similarity was quite uncanny .
If one didn't know , one would think that Mr Gerald was Zeke's father .
Emily felt her heart contracted in a painful way , they look so alike and she couldn't deny the fact that Micheal was looking at Zeke with so much love and admiration .
What more if he knew the truth ??
"I'll get going now . " Micheal stood up and ruffled Zeke's hair .
"Bye bye little guy . " Micheal waved at him and Zeke waved also . They looked reluctant to part.
"I'll send my driver to pick you up tommorow . 6 pm. . " He smiled at Emily and went out of the room .
"What was that ??? . " Mariah exclaimed .
She quickly pulled Emily to a side and giggled at her
