Chapter 15

The next morning, Rex left for Paris and Prisca was left all alone with Grey whom she tried all her best to avoid. After having her breakfast with the maid served, she took a refreshing bath, wore a comfortable dress, and decided to take a walk around the house.
Rex told her there is an art gallery on the third floor and Prisca Is so thrilled to check it out. With her long black hair let loose, she walked towards the hall staring at each door for the right one.
Soon, she was able to find it, she turned the doorknob and walked into it, the room was a bit dim. Prisca wondered why, she looked around for any light switch but she saw nothing. With flickering eyes, she saw a large curtain not far away from where she stood, maybe it could bring light into the room which was so quiet and felt like no one had been in it for years.
With her hands on the curtain's tail, she pulled it to the other side, a bright light shone straight into the room and it became very bright for her to see through.
"What do you think you are doing?" A hard voice rang through her ears. At once, Prisca gasped in fear as she quickly turned around only to see Grey standing a few feet away from her with a piece of art in his hand.
She stared at him in shock wondering when he got into the room but with the look of things, it showed clearly that he was here before she and Prisca couldn't understand how he could stay so well in the dark without her noticing him at all.
"What are you doing here too?" She fired back at him not giving him a chance to make her look stupid.
Grey raised an eyebrow, "Obviously, I was here before you" he answered.
Still surprised, Prisca, glanced at the curtains and back at him, "I didn't see you, okay, and there was no light in here for me to notice you standing at that corner with a piece of art in your hands" she said sharply without fear in her eyes or tone.
"I can see that you have the guts now Prisca" Grey-faced her, his forehead was twisted in a frown but Prisca couldn't still deny the fact that it made him look very handsome.
"I always had them in me Grey" she spat out at him.
Grey stared at her not knowing what to say, the way she pronounced his name sent chills all over his body and he doesn't know why he felt like that. No way will he let her see how vulnerable his heart is right now.
"I guess I woke them up," he said to maintain the hard tone.
Irritated by his confidence, Prisca stared at him, "You wish" she countered at him, clearly angry that she had walked into this place. All she wants is to avoid this guy but still on the first day of Rex's departure, here he is staring right into her face just to make her frustrated.
With anger, she walked towards the doo,r and as soon as she walked past him, Grey held her hand preventing her from taking another step.
As soon as their skin came in contact, they could both feel a rush of adrenaline all over them, their heart skipped a bit and Grey on his part couldn't explain what was happening to him. No way will this girl make him feel so strange about himself, all he wants is to have revenge on her for humiliating him and not to find himself having a strange attraction towards her.
Still trying to maintain his coolness, he dragged her towards the nearest wall, pinned her to i,t and placed a hand on the wall close to her face, her eyes shone in terror as she wonders what he is about to do to her.
"Let me go!" Prisca struggled knowing that this is the second time something like this is happening.
"No, I won't!" Grey snapped at her, "If I don't, what are you going to do about it? Slap me again and tell me how disgusted you are? Huh? Tell me!" He yelled at her, their eyes locked together as their panting grew heavy.
"I don't fucking care Grey! All I need is for you to let me go and stop acting like a pervert, haven't you done enough? You insulted my mother and me, what else are you going to do now to please yourself and justify your curiosity? Are you waiting until a teardrop falls from my eyes? No way Grey! All I want is for you to get your hands off me!" She shouted and struggled so hard to be released from his hold but Grey was so strong that he didn't want to give her a chance to break free.
"I won't let you go, Prisca, force me if you can" he spat right to her face.
Prisca stared into his eyes, she could see that he isn't joking and she wondered what had gotten over him. All she wants is for him to let her leave.
She struggled so hard with him, "Why are you doing this Grey? What have I committed that you hate me so much? Please, let me be, I beg of you!" She yelled with mercy but all Grey wants is to see her shed tears, nothing else but that, and Prisca On her part won't try such.
Seeing how stubborn she is, Grey finally let her go and with a deadly glare at him, she walked out of the room leaving Grey who let out a deep sigh, the expression on her face was glued to his head.
He doesn't know what got into him either but all he wanted is to hold her close to him and not let her go a bit. He wants her as long as she hates him, he feels like his hate is slowly turning into desire and she hates it so much to the core.
With a panting breath, Prisca walked past the stairs, she couldn't believe him, why would the behold get so tight to the point that her wrist began to hurt her so deep. She glanced at her wrist and notice how red they were but with all the struggling from her, she knew how much effect his touch had on her skin, it made her feel pain and attraction at the same time.
She got into her room, brought out her ointment and applied it to her red skin. As she did so, she closed her eyes in pain, it didn't hurt that bad but touching it made the pain very obvious.
She decided to stay in her room just to avoid him, during lunch, the maid brought in her food. With a small bookshelf filled with books and a TV set, Prisca was not that bored even though she fell asleep twice.
Soon, the sun set and night came, she stared outside her window and the cool summer air was so nice on her skin. With a smile on her face, she brushed her hair, walked out of her room and headed for the garden.
She got there and took a stroll around the flowers and trees, as she did so, she remembered the day Rex showed her around with his quiet and reserved nature. She can't deny the fact that the house is so boring without him and only him alone can make her feel warm and safe.
Grey stood firm looking out of his window, the gentle night breeze brought nothing but fresh air into his nostrils but all were not in his mind as he had his eyes fixed on Prisca Who stood at the garden, her eyes fixed in a distance like she had thoughts on her mind.
Grey couldn't help but admire her from a distance, he has never felt so attracted to any girl, not even his numerous girlfriends and he doesn't know why he is being attracted to this girl, a girl he has tried his best to hate to the core but all to no avail.
With a deep breath, he turned away from her because he knew that staring at her might begin to grow unwanted feelings inside of him, feelings that he doesn't want at all and he hopes he doesn't grow until she finds her way back to college.
