The Abduction

Some Weeks Later – At Sir Denise’s Apartment
That day, after going through the video of the event at Zingcord, Olivia recalled the Award Ceremony at the United Dunforn Republic. Then, she was on her seventh month, and had been processing the image she saw at the ceremony and his pictures had refused to leave her memory. Meanwhile, she was working on a script for her first movie at home, and she had the need to go through the videos of all her previous events. After watching the first event – Daniel De Pianist Concert, she moved on to the event at the United Dunforn Republic. Now, Olivia still saw the familiar face that she saw on the video of the concert, who was carrying Daniel on his lap. In the second video, the familiar face was holding Daniel, and walking with her parents’ in-law.
“Could they be related? The semblance is so much,” she thought to herself.
Previously, she was trying to upload more video clips of the recent concert to keep the Daniel De Pianist page busy, pending when she would be ready for another concert. Then, she began to watch the video all over again, searching for a catchy segment. Now, she got to the point where Daniel got off the stage after his opening remarks, and ran towards a man instead of walking to his seat. She paused, and replayed the segment and exclaimed, “This is Louis,” she told herself.
Now, Tim, who thought she was talking to him, walked to meet her on the couch, and asked, "Big cousin, did you talk to me?”
Nevertheless, Olivia, who was not aware that she was audible enough to the point that Tim could hear her from his room, marveled.
“No, Tim. You can return to your room," she dismissed. Likewise, she dropped her devices on the center table, and rested her head on the headrest. Then, she reminisced about the discussions she had with Louis about his identity.
‘When he introduced himself as Louis Bailey, I never associated him with Julie Bailey, my school mother,' she pointed out.
Now, she was hysterical, which was inimical to her health. Meanwhile, many thoughts about Louis's identity continued to flash through her mind.
“But Louis's said that his mother was late, while Julie's mother was alive.”
At that moment, the couch became inconvenient for her, so she got up, and walked around the parlor to ease off her irregular contractions, which the doctor told her that she would start to experience from the seventh month. Then, she thought of her husband and the day she met him appeared like a flash.
“Who knows if I would have been dead by now if he had not appeared to save me from danger?” she grumbled.
Afterward, she attempted to take her seat, but she experienced an increase in pelvic pressure, and stood up again. Suddenly, in her mind, she saw her husband in a pull of his blood while some unknown men surrounded him. Instantly, she shivered, and shook her head vigorously, as though she would be able to shake away the ugly thought from her mind through that act. Now, she was sweating profusely while the contraction progressed. Then, she called out to her cousin, “Tim.”
This time, Tim was aware that he heard her clearly, and walked quickly to her.
“Get the car keys. I need to see the doctor," she declared. Meanwhile, Tim, took a critical look at her, and was startled.
“Okay," he responded, and quickly walked back to his room. Then, he got the car keys and helped her to the car. As she attempted to open the driver's side, she experienced another contraction and leaned on the door.
“Big cousin, are you sure you can drive?” Tim asked with concern. Meanwhile, John, who had been observing her since she got off the house, walked up to her, and asked, “Do you mind if I drive you with the operational car?”
Olivia nodded her head in the affirmative, and John walked swiftly back to the parlor, and got the car keys. Then, he opened the back door for her, and she got in, followed by Tim.
“Where are we going, Madam?” John asked.
“We are going to the office.”
Now, John turned on the car ignition, and drove off.
“Call your uncle and tell him that we are coming to the office,” Olivia instructed.
“All right, big cousin.”
Then, Tim picked his phone, and dialed Denise's a call. He was excited when the phone began to ring, and he waited for him to pick, but to his displeasure, he did not pick. He looked at his big cousin, who was uncomfortable with the contraction pains, and consoled, “Take it easy. We will soon get to the hospital.”
He was not expecting any response from her, so, he concentrated on getting Denise, but he got the same result. Now, Olivia was distraught and could not ask whether Tim was able to get her husband or not. So, they continued with their trip to the hospital. Soon, they were at the complex gate.
The Security Officer recognized their colleague and the operational car, so, they opened the gate at once, and greeted, “Welcome Madam, welcome John.”
“Good day boss," John responded, and drove to the clinic at once, and parked in the vestibule. When he got off the car, he opened the back door for Olivia, but she could not come out and only looked on. Now, Tim, who was already out of the car, walked to Olivia and asked, “Do you want me to get the nurses to help you?”
Olivia, who was already weak and shedding tears, nodded her head in the positive, and Tim began to walk into the clinic. Meanwhile, Dr. Harper, who had gotten off work for the day, and was leaving the clinic, and wondered why a vehicle should park in the vestibule. Meanwhile, Tim, who could not identify him, had walked into the clinic, and was talking to the receptionist.
“What?” The receptionist exclaimed. Then, she stood up, got the caregivers to get the stretchers. Soon they were in the vestibule. They met Dr. Harper trying to walk back to call them. Nevertheless, they assisted her to get into the stretcher, and wheeled her to the theater.
“Where is Mr. Bailey?” The doctor asked Tim.
“He is at work. Let me give him a call," Tim explained. Previously, Dr. Harper was aware of her multiple pregnancy, but kept it away from the couple. He was prepared for that but was not expecting a preterm labor, now, that it had come, he would face it.
“Stop crying, Lady Bailey, everything will be fine,” the midwife assured her.
On the Way Home
That morning, Sir Denise was restless, and could not link it to anything. Meanwhile, he had the premonition that some terrible things may occur.
“What is this funny feeling that I am having since this morning?” He thought to himself. To be certain that his home was in order, he gave his wife a call, and she picked at once, “Hello, hubby,” she greeted cheerfully.
“Hello, my Angel. How are you?”
“I'm good. And you?”
“I'm good. See you later," he said. To avoid panicking her, he greeted her casually and cut the call and continued with his work. When he could not concentrate, he set out to go home at 2 PM.
Now, while he was driving, he got to the spot where he met Olivia eight months ago, and smiled, “My lucky spot. I will bring her and our daughter to this spot one day for selfies,” he mumbled. Then his mind began to wander on different things.
“How would she have survived if I had not shown up?” he asked himself.
