Chapter 18 Seventeen

Everleigh POV
After what happened, I can't get out of my room. I've done my morning routines and still I could still feel his fingers inside me.
I wore my casual shorts and t-shirt since I'm only at home. Dad is coming tonight, my birthday. Again, I won't expect anything.
I blew air and faced the mirror. I blink a few times, but my eyes seem running on its own and made its eyesight down to my core. Raven's voice and his playful hands played again on my mind.
"Waaa! Everleigh!! What the f*ck is wrong with you?! Are you insane??? Did you lose your mind?? Well, actually, I lost my mind a while ago—it doesn't make sense!!" I pointed myself and stared like a wild tiger. "You... You and Raven have nothing with each other. He is a man, I bet he's...only...horny—the hell! You are the woman and why did you let your body act on its own?!"
Argh! This is insane!
He saw me. He saw my face liking what he is doing! He saw how my mouth opens and moan while enjoying his slender fingers—just what did you thought of, Everleigh?!
"Arghh!" I squealed. "This is wrong, this is so wrong. I should...I should—I should apologize. I should say sorry, yes! Sorry!"
I composed myself and run towards the door. I opened it immediately and run downstairs.
I stopped running when I heard two voices laughing together.
"You are like my son. I really wish I could see him, again," Mr. Hunderson told to Raven.
They were at the living room, sitting on the sofa.
"What happened to him?"
"I don't know. He is just gone. I don't know where he is, if he is still alive or..." Mr. Hunderson smiled. "He was just a boy, smart, fun. But suddenly, he decided to leave saying he got a job far away from our home. But then, months after, he didn't come back. No traces of him are found. Police told me that maybe he is dead. So I also assumed it is. Because of if he is still alive, he will always come back. He'll come back to me. So I applied her, maybe I could see him in this city."
Raven's face features softens. "You said he is the same as me. What was his name? I'll find him for you,"
I smiled. He'll do that for the old man? Even father doesn't pay attention to his missing son.
"Mike, he has the same features as me." Mr. Hunderson tapped his shoulder. "Raven, no need to find him. But I got a little hope on you. I'll just go with my regular waiting."
"Nah, I'll find him. Though, I can't assure, but I'll try." Raven smiled.
"You know what; you are a type of guy who the girls could depend with. I bet you had a girlfriend."
Raven shook his head while laughing. "I had before. But, I found out that she cheated on me." Raven laughs. "But it's okay, I guess, I was in high school back then. Too young to be committed for permanent."
So he had a girlfriend before?!
I walk nearer and hide at the wall. I need to hear then clearly.
"Wow, that's tough. At teenage, relationships are fun, really. But when you got to college, you'll realize that your future is far better than having a relationship. You'll set your mind and work so you can give anything your future girl wants."
"You read my mind." Raven stood. "Anyway, Mr. Hunderson. I need to get Everleigh, she hasn't eaten breakfast yet."
What? He cooked again for me? Why is he so nice?
"You care too much, huh?" Mr. Hunderson smirked teasingly.
Raven smiled shyly. "Just work,"
I sighed. Yeah. Fine. It's okay.
"You see, son." Mr. Hunderson stood, "Mr. Scott smiles a lot, and seems like a fun person. He and Eve look close because they talk casually, but the thing is, an invisible wall is between them. I care for Eve, even though she acts like she hates me. Take care of her. But don't let Mr. Scott see you that I see you two. You know what I mean, Raven."
Huh?
Okay?
What was that?
"I-I don't know what you mean, Mr. Hunderson, I—"
"Soon, you'll know," he smiled before walking away.
With a confused face, Raven walks towards the stairs—which is towards me!
Oh no, he'll see me!
Before he will see me, I should go first. I composed myself and walk like I didn't hear anything.
He was startled seeing me. "Everleigh?"
"I didn't hear anything!"
"What? How are you—"
"What do you mean? I just...c-came. Anyway, where's my breakfast?"
His brows furrowed. "How do you know you have breakfast?"
I grip the hem of my shirt at the back. "Of course I should have, right? M-Maybe Susana made me. S-Susana!!"
He sighed. "No I made you. Come on, I'll prepare it for you." He turned back and walk to the dining area.
I blew air. I thought I was going to have heart attack. He didn't notice me. I wasn't suspicious, that's great.
I followed him to the kitchen.
"Sit," I followed him.
He prepared all for me. Plates, spoon, fork, my fried rice, hams, hotdogs, bacons, and even poured me juice. I watched him doing all of that. After he finished, he sit in front of me.
"Eat," he smiled.
The fuck, why is he like that?!
I followed him. I grab my fork and get ham. I was really hungry so eating slowly isn't my thing. A two spoonful of fried rice full my mouth.
With a full mouth, I look at Raven. He immediately looked away.
Wait a minute...
Did I catch him smiling?
His brows furrowed before looking at me. "What?"
He is talking to me casually now. He gives me this friendship vibes. Ahh, whatever!
I was going to bite a hotdog when my hair falls in front of my face. Actually, I can't eat properly with my long hair. Raven immediately grab his chair and sit beside me. He pulled my hair back to give my face a clear access to food.
"I should buy you a ponytail."
With a surprise reaction, I immediately looked at him. He laughs a bit before getting a table napkin and wipes the side of my lips.
"Why do you eat like a kid?"
My heart.
No.
This isn't right!
F*ck, Everleigh.
