IT'S A PRANK

Chapter 10|It's a prank
"What's the problem?" I inquired once more.
She stood up and followed me.
"Well, the issue is... you have an issue."
Why is she behaving this way? It does not appear to be a guidance counselor. I just frowned when I looked at her. I'm not sure why this happened.
"How should I proceed so that I don't lose my scholarship?"
I'm terrified because of what's going on. I don't want to be deprived of my scholarship. My eyes suddenly warmed up, and I knew my tears would fall in just a few moments.
"There's still a way to keep your scholarship."
What I heard made me feel encouraged.
"What exactly is it, Ma'am?"
My voice rose slightly as a result of my excitement at knowing what I was capable of, and she took a sip first before looking me in the eyes.
"Please apologize to Kian."
I was stunned when I heard what she said. I? But...hey! It's up to me, I have to apologize even though it's really his fault. He's a bitch! Argghhhh! Kiannn! How can I avoid you when fate is arranging for our paths to cross again?
I just came to my senses when Ma'am tapped my shoulder.
"You can leave now."
As I walked out of her office, I just smiled and slouched my shoulders. When my chest throbbed, I grabbed it. Calm down, Ayisha. You've got this. Inhale. Exhale. Inhale. Exhale.
I sat on the hallway floor for a while to calm myself down. This is difficult. It's a good thing I took my medication earlier, or I might have ended up in the hospital again. Luckily, I was the only student in the corridor. Others attend classes.
I checked my watch and saw that it was nearly 9:00 a.m. I went to Jannah's classroom when I felt a little better. Our break begins after her class.
We returned to class at 10 a.m., but the subject had changed. I just stood near the stairs, waiting for Jannah.
Jannah's class ended after five minutes of waiting. I got to my feet and waited for her to come out.
"Oh, Sha! Why are you here so early? I was going to your class."
She mended her bag.
"Well, the Guidance counselor called earlier, so come with me to the comfort room first, and I'll just tell you there."
She held my arm as we walked to C.R.
I kept my mouth shut until we got inside. Fortunately, Jannah and I were the only ones present.
"Sha, what happened, and why were you summoned?"
She applied the face powder to her face. I set my bag down first and turned to face the mirror.
"Do you remember when I slapped Kian? My scholarship was revoked as a result of that."
She came to a halt and looked at me, stunned.
"What?! Is that all you have to do to keep your scholarship?"
"I owe an apology to Kian."
Jannah shook her head and scratched her head.
"How about that, Sha? You don't want to see him anymore?"
She kept applying lipstick to her face.
"Just apologize to him like this to solve your problem."
She is correct; apologizing is sufficient.
While we were still talking, an elderly woman unexpectedly entered C.R.
I took a look at the woman. She is dressed professionally. Jannah and I were both silent, but she gave me a signal.
What could she have meant? She was just pointing at the girl and signaling to me. When that girl came out, we could only breathe and talk.
Jannah quickly approached me.
"Jannah approached me quickly.
"She's the one!"
She faced me again as she turned to the door.
"Who is she, Nah?" I inquired each time.
"She's the Academy's Guidance Counselor!"
What?! What? She?
"Are you sure? She's not the one I spoke with earlier! The posture of the woman who came in here is nothing like the Counselor who introduced herself to me earlier!"
"Gaga! She's our Guidance, and I'm not sure who you spoke with."
I suddenly became quiet and thought, "If she's the Counselor, who did I talk to?" I quickly grabbed my bag and headed for the door.
"Nah, I'll go ahead of you because I need to find out the truth. I need to return to the Counselor's office."
I didn't wait for Jannah to say anything; I rushed out of C.R. and back to the Counselor's office.
I'm not sure what I'm feeling. I'm disgusted and perplexed as to who you're posing as, Counselor.
I turned quickly towards the office. When I arrived at Ma'am's office, I was out of breath. I leaned against the door for a moment and rested.
This is difficult. Just a little bit of running puts you out of breath. I closed my eyes and exhaled deeply.
"HAHAHAHA! HAHAHAAH!! GREAT, BRO! IF YOU COULD HAVE SEEN AYISHA'S FACE EARLIER! HAHAHAHA."
Wait! Who's laughing and why did I hear my name? Why is there a male voice inside?
"HAHAHA! SHE DOESN'T KNOW IT'S JUST A PRANK THAT YOU'RE GOING TO REMOVE HER SCHOLARSHIP! HAHAHAH!"
What? A prank? And wait, that's Kian's voice!! I feel my cheeks suddenly heat up, my heart beat faster, and I want to cry out of rage.
I hurriedly opened the door and entered.
"HAHAHAHAH! SUPERB, BRO!"
Kian and Aarone were squirming with laughter. Another person is stomping their feet.
"YOU SHAMELESS! DO YOU THINK YOUR PRANKS ARE FUNNY! HUH!"
I took my bag and threw it at chonggo. He was surprised and quickly stood up.
"WHAT'S THIS?! WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO ME?! ARE YOU REALLY HAPPY TO TRIP AND PLAY WITH ME?!"
I yelled at him while crying. Yes, I'm crying because after all the humiliation he's done, he's still not satisfied.
Kian stood up and took my hand in his.
"ANIMAL, DON'T TOUCH ME!"
I punched his chest and shook his hand.
"I'm sorry, Ayisha; I'll explain."
I continued to punch his chest as he hugged me. My tears are still streaming down my cheeks. I just didn't think he'd take it from me.
"I'm leaving, bro. I'm sorry, Ayisha! " Aarone said, and I quickly left the office.
I didn't stop punching him until my body gave out.
I stopped punching and sat on the floor, my chest heaving, only crying and feeling pain when my heart throbbed.
"I'm sorry, Ayisha, I'm sorry. I didn't intend to."
I'm not sure where he got the idea to support me and give me water.
"Sha, drink first to make yourself feel better."
I want to hurt him and yell at him, but I don't want to use up my last reserves of energy yelling at him.
I felt a little better after drinking the water.
"Let go of me!"
I stood up slowly and ignored him.
"I only did that to irritate you, Ayisha. But I had no plans of taking your scholarship. I'm sorry if I pranked you." I turned to face him and stared at him intently.
"THIS IS IN REPLY TO EVERYTHING YOU'VE DONE TO ME! " I slapped him on the right cheek.
"AND THIS IS FOR YOUR SHAMELESSNESS!" I slapped him on his left cheek.
I am still very hurt by what he did to me. I stood up and stared at him again.
"DON'T YOU EVER COME TO ME AGAIN?! GET THE HELL OUT OF MY LIFE!!" I don't care if he sees me crying and struggling right now; I slowly turned around and left him speechless."
Keep an eye out for Chapter 11!
