X-PART – 7 : He's Insensitive!

Romeo stuttered with sentence after sentence his wife threw. Like getting a sharp stab right in the pit of his heart. It's suffocating. What he feared finally happened.
Little by little, Rena finally knows her true identity. Little by little, the memory finally came back.
"Listen to me first," said Romeo, still trying to be able to ask for help, understanding from the look in his eyes. However, he could see how the look in Rena's gaze turned into a very disappointed one.
"You lied to me, Beta Romeo? You were never honest with me about how my past was. What memories have been lost? What they did to me in the past. About who Luna Irene and Alpha Jonathan are. I don't understand at all!"
Rena's breath hitched from making too much noise. She then threw the paper in front of her husband. "I thought you would take care of me. But it turns out I was wrong. You turned out to be hiding something big enough that I couldn't even move."
"Rena…" Romeo sighed tiredly. He didn't want to talk about his painful past anymore.
"What!" said Rena in a tone that was so angry. Her white face was also getting redder. "What's your excuse now!?"
"Honey ...." So softly, Romeo called his lover.
"There's no need to act like that!"
"Ren--"
"That's enough, Romeo Riley!"
"How can everything be enough if my biggest fear is yourself! You who can hate me anytime. It was you who could have dumped me!"
"Nonsense!" Rena squeaked. She tightened the blanket even more to cover her body. "Why do I hate you for no good reason? I want your honesty about your status and me in the past."
Romeo hit the wall until there was a rumbling sound. The white fence finally contained traces of blood from Romeo's fingers.
Rena's body trembled. In all the years she'd known this man, this was the first time she'd seen that Romeo was out of control, even to the point of hurting her. Rena bit her lower lip and was speechless.
She was afraid. Scared.
"I've already said that I love you so much that it's hard to believe I don't want to hear anyone else out there getting in the way of this relationship. I asked you that from the start, didn't I?"
"You never even… introduced me to your parents." Rena leaned against the sink and then gradually sat up, curled like a child who had lost a candy cane.
All this time, she thought that Romeo had no family because the man herself had never discussed it. She thought Romeo was the only man looking for her identity on this earth. But it turned out that Rena was wrong. The man was part of the Pack. The werewolf kingdom!
"All I want to get is you completely." Romeo crouched down and then cupped the woman's face. The two beads sank together as if wandering in each other's thoughts. "Isn't it enough just me in your heart? Is there anyone else you want to know? I have no one here except you. How can I survive if you only doubt me, Rena."
Rena's heart sank. They misunderstood. That's not what Rena meant. She just wanted reassurance and honesty from this man. Who is Beta Romeo? Why does Pack's complicated relationship have anything to do with her husband?
"What would happen if I lost you a second time? I could die, Rena. Romeo hugged Rena and carried the now slightly chubby body into his arms. "Please, don't force me to do this. I can't afford to lose you."
"I will never leave you, Romeo," Rena argued.
"You'll think twice later." Romeo brought Rena back to their bed. It didn't matter if it was Rena who was about to clean up. All Romeo wants is to hold his lover until he dies.

It had been almost a month since the incident, and Rena finally agreed with herself not to mention the problem that might break their relationship. She didn't want to know how the letter ended up. Rena never found it again. She didn't care how dark the past might be. What Rena wants is to build a small family with her beloved lover.
"What were you doing earlier? You didn't even answer my calls." Romeo went into the toilet and found Rena, wearing a blue dress with her back to him. Her black hair hung down over her back.
"What is it?" Romeo finally learned that something was wrong. He then approached his wife, who had not even moved at all. "What is it?" asked Romeo again because he did not get a satisfactory answer.
"Eh… yes…." Rena looked dazed. But in her hand was a long white object, and Romeo knew it very well.
"What are you doing with the pregnancy kit, Honey?"
Rena looked at Romeo's face with an equally confused face. "I don't understand. Some days I thought that I was menstruating. But even just a little blood came out. I've had morning sickness the past few days too, but I haven't vomited anything."
Romeo quickly took the pregnancy test kit from Rena's hand. Two red lines! Although the other one still looks very faint. I don't know what Romeo felt, but he seemed to have lost his breath because of the overwhelming pleasure.
"Why didn't you tell me?"
"Tell you what?" Rena asked.
"You're nauseous in the morning." Romeo was annoyed with Rena's answer, which made him dizzy, half to death.
"That's because you're always in the office, and I don't want to bother you."
"Oh, Shit! I hate your bad behavior!" Romeo put the pregnancy test at the end of the sink. "You have to share your story with me, Rena. Whatever is in you, I must know."
"But I thought that it was just normal nausea. After all, within a few minutes, I also felt fine." Rena turned around. "Never mind, I'll prepare you some warm water. You just got home. You must be tired."
Romeo grabbed the arm and said, "You know what those two red lines mean, right? You're pregnant!"
Rena's hand shook lightly. "Yes, I know. Then what to do?"
Romeo was stunned by the question. "It is our child, our baby. We'll take it to the hospital!"
"Tomorrow. It's too late. I also want to rest."
Romeo didn't like Rena's response. How could this woman act so normal? Even though her body is still a baby whose presence must be known.
Romeo's anger has reached the top. He wanted to pull back Rena not to do anything stupid, and he immediately followed his wishes. However, the unexpected had happened. The Rena's body, as high as 168 centimeters, finally limped and fell in Romeo's arms.
Rena's eyes were closed, and Romeo also just realized that Rena's red lips had turned pale.

Low blood pressure! That was the initial diagnosis the doctor gave Romeo regarding his wife. Not to mention what he expected to happen. The woman was indeed pregnant and had entered six weeks.
"I'd better go home. I wouldn't say I like the smell of a hospital. It pierces my lungs!" Rena kept expelling the contents of her stomach, and only saliva came out. At the same time, Romeo can only massage the woman's nape behind her.
"I want to go home..." Rena whined and rested her head on Romeo's shoulder.
"Until the doctor permits. Have you finished nausea?"
Rena nodded and followed Romeo out.
"You can't get tired."
"I don't even do anything at home. Don't you know that many servants take turns cleaning the house, sir?" quipped Rena.
Romeo just laughed. "Because I don't want your pretty nails to do anything they shouldn't."
Rena sighed softly, "Did Ben and Ava come here too? I miss their children."
Romeo just giggled. "We'll have kids later, and you'll miss him more than their kids. Tell me, how are you feeling right now? Did you feel someone kicking from the inside?" Romeo put his ear on Rena's still flat stomach.
"Don't be stupid. It might still resemble a sprout. Where did it have the legs to kick its mother's belly from?"
Romeo could only give a seductive smile in response.
However, not until the fun happened was there a who opened the door so loudly, which made the two almost scream in surprise.
"Ben!" Rena was about to get out of bed, but seeing Ben's sharp, piercing gaze on Romeo, she became silent.
"I want to talk to you one-on-one, Rome!" said Ben to Romeo.
Ava, next to Bennedict, immediately approached Rena and put her luggage on the table near the window. She tried her best to make her sister-in-law calm and not think about things.
"Ava...." Rena watched Ava for an explanation. But she can only smile calmly and shake her head as if it's a male talk that girls shouldn't know.

"What is it?" asked Romeo. By now, they were in a deserted hospital hallway. Indeed, the facilities that Romeo chose for his wife were no joke. The man chose an elite room.
Bennedict changed his gaze to a slightly worried, "Are you still in touch with your old pack?"
"Why are you talking like that all of a sudden?" Romeo didn't like the direction of the conversation from Ben now. "I don't like you talking about this!"
Ben immediately snorted, "I won't discuss it if it's unimportant. Do you know what they do after months of sending us letters and we end up not replying? This news is their way to get closer to our family, Ben!"
"What do you mean?" Romeo doesn't understand.
"They know that Rena is pregnant and is here, in the sterile human world of werewolf territory." Ben grabbed Ben's shoulder and said, "They came here and pretended to see Rena."
Deg!
"No kidding. I never told anyone, including my mother and father. You know that all this time, I've also taken care of Rena and never interacted with other werewolves, right? We're also in territory that doesn't belong to any pack." Romeo's heart was beating very fast.
His negative thoughts had penetrated to the point of making him a little angry.
"It doesn't matter now. What matters is their purpose and intent. Isn't it obvious that you don't want to be a beta anymore? Why do they insist?"
Romeo was silent for a moment. "Because Danny can't keep the trust very well. The man prefers the same as me. Yes, he has a mate from another clan, namely a witch. Do you know that black witches are quite the opposite of our family?
"Danny also left the pack?" asked Ben. He was very, very surprised by Romeo's statement because he only knew about this now.
"Not. He's still in the pack." Romeo spoke. "But he must be dethroned immediately because it is against the pack rules. All werewolves in the pack may have partners from any clan, as long as they are not black witches."
"So, for that reason, you were invited by them back?"
Romeo couldn't help but nod. "I told you I was the only capable Beta." There was a hint of confidence in Romeo's sentence.
"Yeah, you can say that because they're having a tough time." Ben didn't want to lose. "So, what do you want to do now?"
"I don't know. I don't want to stay there and open old wounds. I want to live with the little family I dream of for the rest of my life." Romeo looked up at the blue sky through the window. "I'm afraid of Rena's memory returning, making my chest tight."
Benedict patted Romeo on the shoulder and said, "I can no longer limit your relationship. You are the head of the household here and have the right to forbid or not to do something. I hope you made the right decision, Romeo."
Romeo looked down at the hospital veranda. His eyes narrowed to focus on an object.
"Honestly, Ben, what's your real problem with me?" Romeo asked as his gaze was still fixed on the ground floor.
"What?" Ben answered.
"Why do you say something important like this when they are already in the hospital? If you weren't my wife's older sister, Jade would break all your joints. Damn it!"
Romeo's teeth chattered loudly. He hated Bennedict for informing the royal family of the royal family's presence at the last second.
"I will kill you, Bennedict!"
